General Installation and Maintenance
Procedure for Bio-Luminaire Fittings
General Information
- Follow instruction sheet to ensure safe and reliable operation of product. Retain for
future reference.
- The product should NOT be modied. Any modication will negate the safety mark/
approvals, and may render the product unsafe.
- Only the manufacturer, an Instructed service technician or equally qualied person is
allowed to replace parts within this luminaire.
- Bio-Luminaire accepts no responsibility for modied products.
- All replacement components should be identical with those replaced.
- Disposal as per manufacturer’s instructions.
Installation and Supply
- Unless specied otherwise, all Bio-Luminaire products do not operate in damp or
corrosive environments.
- Disconnect from mains supply before installation, maintenance or the replacement of
any parts. Care must be taken when drilling holes near existing installation wiring, to
avoid electric shock.
- Bio-Luminaire accepts no responsibility for the eects of corrosive element in the
installation/atmosphere.
- Any closure or ceiling void which prevents normal heat dissipation may cause reduced
performance, overheating and risk of re.
Maintenance
- Only components of the correct type and rating should be used. Manufacturer’s
instructions should be complied with.
- Regular and careful cleaning with a clean damp cloth is required to ensure optimum
performance and safety. Disconnect from mains supply before Cleaning.
- Bio-Luminaire accepts no responsibility for the eect of solvents used when installing,
servicing or re decorating the surround, or for the accumulation of dust and dirt.
