reachesthe"Fuji" lineon the sideofthecontainer,
1. Pressthe releasebutton ontop of the
carryinghandleto removethe dirt container.
Choosean emptyingmethod.Method#2 is
recommendedfor allergysufferers.
Method#1-holdthe dirt containerover
trashcan and pushthe emptyingbutton to
openthe bottom (2a).Closethe bottomafter
the dirt empties.
Method#2-placeaplasticbagoverthebottom
ofthedirtcontainer.Pushtheemptyingbutton
throughtheplastictoopenthebottom(2b).After
thedustsettles,closethebottomandremove

Checkthe foothoseforclogs(2a).If you are
not ableto tell from the outsideif aclog is
present,removethe bottom4 screwsfrom
the divertercoverto loosenand straighten
the foot hose(2b).
Removeanyclogsfoundand fully
reassemblethe cleaner beforeattemptingto
checksuctionagainor usingthe cleaner.
Thermal Motor Protection
Aninternalthermalprotectorhasbeendesigned
intoyourclessertoprotectit fromoverheating.
Whenthethermal protectoractivates,the main
vacuummotorwillstopoperating,if thishappens,
proceedas follows.
1. Turnthe cleanerOFFand unplugfrom
electricaloutlet.
2. Checkthe cleanerfor the sourceof over-
heatingproblem(i.e.full dirt cup,dirty filters
or clog).
3. Fixthe problembyfollowing the stepsin the
maintenancesectionof the userguide.
Whenthe motor coolsfor approximately30
minutes,the thermal protectorautomati-
cally resetsandcleaningmay continue.If
the cleanerwill not turn onor the thermal
protectorcontinuesto activate,yourcleaner
may needservicing.CallBISSELLConsumer
