POLARIZATION INSTRUCTION
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
DO NOT vacuum water, wet objects, liquids, ashes, hot coals, cigarette butts, matches or any hot, smoking or burning objects,
etc.
DO NOT pick up flammable or combustible materials (i.e. lighter fluid, petrol, kerosene, etc.) or use in the presence of explosive
liquids or vapor.
DO NOT pick up toxic material (i.e. chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.
DO NOT vacuum Toner (for laser printer, copy machines etc.) as there is a risk of fire and explosion.
DO NOT vacuum plaster, cement etc., as the filter can become blocked.
DO NOT use vacuum without all the filters fitted.
DO NOT store or use the appliance near high temperature areas.
DO NOT run over the power cord with the vacuum cleaner.
DO NOT use vacuum cleaner if it is blocked. Turn off and clear all blockages before continuing.
DO NOT use vacuum cleaner with blocked filters. Clean or replace filters before continuing. (refer to User Maintenance section).
DO NOT use vacuum cleaner if the appliance malfunctions, sounds abnormal, smells, smokes, is dropped or damaged in any
manner or any breakage is found during operation.
DO NOT misuse the cord. Never pull the appliance by the cord or pull to disconnect it from the outlet. Instead, grasp the plug
and pull to disconnect.
DO NOT use vacuum cleaner to pick up large, hard, or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc., that are likely to
cause damage.
DO NOT use vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into liquid (water etc.)
DO NOT close door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners.
DO NOT leave unattended when plugged in and/or switched on

Insert the handle post into the top
of the vacuum. Ensure the screw
hole is facing toward the front of the
vacuum.
Insert the assembly screw (included)
and tighten with a philips screwdriver
(not included).
Press the Dustbin Canister Release
and pull out to release.

USING THE ATTACHMENTS
Your vacuum includes a Brush Tool, Crevice Tool, and Extension wand. Each
tool attaches to the Hose Adapter and can be used with or without the
extension wand.
Pull up to remove the Main Hose from
the Hose Outlet.
Slide on your desired tool.

Attach Dustbin Canister onto the
vacuum and push back until the
Canister Release clicks into place as
shown below.

Store the tools as shown (below) when not in use. The Crevice Tool stores
inside the extension wand as shown.

Tap the Vacuum Tilt release pedal
to unlock the vacuum from the
upright position.

Height Adjustment: Adjustable
height control allows you to change
the height of the oor brush
depending on your oor type.
When vacuuming on thick carpet,
adjust toward the Tall Carpet
setting. For thinner carpet and
hard oor, adjust toward the Hard
Floor setting. Use the adjustment
to satisfy your ideal vacuuming
performance.

using your vacuum tools, adjust
the suction ring to optimize the
cleaning effect on upholstery.

Loop the power cord around
the bottom and top cord wrap
brackets.

Clip the molded plug to the power
cord to secure.

CLEANING DUSTBIN AND FILTERS
NOTE: Empty your dustbin and clean lters regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Turn Vacuum OFF. Then unplug
vacuum.

Push down on the dustbin door
release as shown. Empty Dustbin
contents into trash.

To empty dirt from the dustbin and
lters press the Dustbin Canister
Release and pull out to release.

WARNING - Always turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner before performing maintenance to the
vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury.

15MAINTENANCE
For deeper cleaning of the dustbin,
twist the Dustbin Cover Assembly
and pull up to release from the
dustbin. Gently dislodge any debris.
Lift the Filter Housing Release to
gain access to the HEPA and foam
lters. Remove the HEPA and foam
lter, tap to dislodge ne dust and
then rinse under cold water as
needed for a deeper clean Allow to
FULLY dry (24hrs recommended)
before re-assembling.

Replace the Dustbin Cover
Assembly and twist clockwise to
secure to the dustbin.

CAUTION: Never operate your vacuum cleaner without the filter in place.
Doing so may damage the motor and void the warranty.

CLEANING THE FLOOR BRUSH

REMOVING THE BRUSH BAR ROLLER
Remove the ve screws that hold
the brush roller base plate in place
as shown.
WARNING - Always turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner before performing
maintenance to the vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could result in electrical
shock or personal injury.
Remove the brush bar roller base
plate by lifting it up.
Remove the brush bar roller by
lifting the right side out of the roller
guides as shown.

Remove all debris from the brush
bar roller.
Remove the brush bar roller from
the belt assembly by pulling the
belt towards you and sliding the
brush bar out.
Reinstall the brush bar roller by
inserting the left side of the roller
through the belt and into the roller
guides.

NOTE: When the cleaning of the brush bar no longer restores vacuum cleaner
suction to full power, check for clogs or replace the lters.

Slide the right side of the brush bar
roller into the guides as shown.
Replace the brush bar roller base
plate as shown.
Replace the screws that hold the
brush roller base plate in place as
shown.

20TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Unplugged at wall outlet.
2. Tripped circuit breaker/blown fuse at
household service panel.
1. Full or clogged dust bin.
2. Clogged airow passages.
