Thank you for purchasing the “Black Box” digitally amplified stereo loudspeaker system from BassNation™.
As noted on the front page of this quick start guide, the “Black Box” is designed to work with all types of
audio sources. It produces a LOUD, yet crystal clear stereo soundstage. And because of its ported real
wood enclosure, there’s plenty of deep rich bass on tap. Our U.S. based engineering team used a custom
designed, digitally controlled proprietory software platform to acoustically tune the system for maximum
performance - no matter what the audio source!
The following items are included along with the Black Box:
1) AC/DC power supply adapter
2) AC power cord for the AC/DC adapter
3) 12 Volt automotive power adapter
4) Stereo mini to mini input cable
5) Stereo RCA to RCA input cable
Front Panel
Rear Panel
How to use the Black Box:
1. Plug the AC power cord into the AC/DC adapter.
2. Plug the AC/DC adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the Black Box.
3. Plug the AC cord into a wall outlet.
4. Connect a source using either the front panel Mini jack or the rear panel RCA jacks.
Note: If both the Mini jack and RCA jacks are connected, the Mini jack will be the default input.
5. Turn the unit on by gently pressing the ON/OFF knob in. The front panel blue LED will light.
6. Adjust the volume by either the volume knob or a combo of the volume knob and your source’s
output level adjustment.
7. Turn the unit off by pressing the ON/OFF knob again. The blue LED will now go off.
How to use the automotive adapter:
1. Plug the automotive adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the Black Box.
2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a 12V source or a automotive cigarette lighter jack.
