INSTALLATION GUIDE
1 Boat Fix Device
Red, black, orange, and yellow wire tail
White and green wire tail
Connect the red wire to the positive battery terminal.
Connect the black wire to the negative battery terminal.
The red and black wires can also be connected to the battery switch or other power source
The device must always be connected to PERMANENT power.
It is recommended that the black plastic connectors are substituted for heat shrink connectors or
wrapped with waterproof electrical tape.

STEP 1 - POWERING UP
STEP 2 - ACTIVATION
Once connected to PERMANENT power, the device will self-activate and search for the GPS and cell signal.
This process is confirmed by the blinking light on the side of the device located on the yellow strip by

STEP 4 - CONNECTING TO THE BILGE PUMP ALARM
Connect the white wire to the automatic bilge pump CONSTANT POWER SUPPLY - and
If the boat has a bilge alarm light, it is recommended to connect to the alarm output side of the bilge alarm.
Ensure that the battery connecting the red and black wires to in STEP 1 is the SAME battery that the
automatic bilge pump is connected to.
The device can be connected to multiple bilge pumps if required.

STEP 5 - CONNECTING TO THE SHORE POWER ALARM
Connect the green wire to the positive 12V/24V output from the battery charger or show power that goes
directly to the battery.
Do NOT connect to the domestic 110V/240V AC input side as this will destroy the device.
WIRE COLOR GUIDE
RED is your POSITIVE to PERMANENT power and it is MANDATORY
BLACK is your NEGATIVE to PERMANENT power and is MANDATORY
**ORANGE is your Ignition or switched power and is OPTIONAL
GREEN is your Shore Power Alarm and is OPTIONAL
WHITE is your Bilge Pump Alarm and is RECOMMENDED
BLUE is NOT USED
BROWN is NOT USED
YELLOW is NOT USED
**The device uses logical ignition technology so connecting the orange wire to switched power or the
ignition is not required.
However, if FITTING TO AN ELECTRIC ENGINE, the orange wire MUST be connected.
