GROUNDINGMETHODS
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides
a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped
with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
DANGER
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.
Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly
grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it will not fit the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 220-volt circuit and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug
illustrated in sketch A in following figure. Make that the product is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug. No adapter should beused with this product.

HOWTOUSESAFETYKEY
USINGYOURTREADMILL
HOW TO START :
First of all, start out slow and easy. Just walk for 10 minutes. Do this every day for a week. If this
was easy for you, add five minutes to your exercise for week 2. Keep adding 5 minutes until you are
running as long as desired.
WATCH YOUR POSTURE :
Think of elongation your body. Hold your head up and eyes forward. Your shoulders should be
down, back and relaxed. Tighten your abdominals and buttocks.
Be sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after exercise. Incorporate a warm up, cool down
and stretches into your routine. Start your walk at a slow warm up pace, stop and do a few warm up
stretches. Then exercise for the desired length of time. End your exercise with the slower cool down
pace and stretch well. Stretching will make you feel great and assist in injury prevention.
The toughest thing about starting a fitness program is developing a habit. Walking daily will help (a
minimum of 5 days a week is a good goal). You should walk fast enough to reach your target heart rate,
but you should not be gasping for air.
After you have formed the habit you will want to evaluate your program and your goals.
To improve cardiovascular fitness walk 3 to 4 days a week, 20 to 30 minutes at a very fast pace
breathing hard but not gasping for air.
If you are exercising for weight loss you should walk a minimum of five days a week, 45 to 60 minutes at
a "purposeful" pace.
If you're new to exercise, start off with slow, short sessions and build your way up gradually. If you have
any health concerns or medical conditions, be sure to check with your doctor for advice before you
begin a routine.

TREADMILLOPERATION
Using treadmill will provide you several benefits, it will improve your physical fitness, tone muscle, and
conjunctions with a calorie-controlled diet help you lose weight. Read carefully the following before using
your treadmill.
WARMUPPHASE
Always stretch your muscles before exercise program, warm up slowly by walking at a slow aped.
Increase workout intensity gradually until you reach your desired workout pace. Before completing
on exercise session, slow your pace gradually to an easy walk, allowing your hear rate to decrease
to normal.
When starting the treadmill, always stand with both feet on the step-on side rails.
When finishing, allow the running belt to slow down, come to a complete stepping off.
Wear running or walking shoes with high-traction soles. To avoid injury and unnecessary wear on
your treadmill, be sure your shoes are free of any debris such as gravel and small rocks.
COOLDOWNPHASE
This stage is to let your Cardio-vascular System and muscles wind down. This is a repeat of the warm up
exercise e.g. reduce your tempo, continue for approximately 5 minutes. The stretching exercise should
now be repeat, again remembering not to force or jerk your muscles into the stretch.
As you get fitter, you may need to train longer and harder. It is advisable to train at least three times a
week, and if possible space your workout evenly throughout the week.
Warning:if you feel dizzy, nausea, chest pains, or other abnormal symptoms, stop immediately. Consult a
physician before continuing.
1. Unplug the electrical cord from the electrical outlet. This is especially important if you are not going to
use treadmill for extended periods.
2. Wipe all treadmill surfaces with a dry cloth or towel----especially perspiration on the handlebars,
control panel, running belt or other treadmill components.
ATTHEENDOFEVERYEXERCISESESSIONALWAYS
1. Remove the safety key from the computer consoled.
2. Use the master power switch to turn the treadmill off. The master power switch is located on the front
side of frame next to the electrical cord.
3. Always position and store the electrical cord where it is clear from all pathways.

4. Unplug the electrical cord from the electrical outlet. This is especially important if you are not going to
use your treadmill for extended period.
5. Wipe all treadmill surfaces with a dry cloth or towel---especially perspiration on the handlebars, control
panel, running belt or other treadmill components.
Warning: Turn off and unplug the treadmill before proceeding with any maintenance or visual do so may
result in serious injury.
Note: Failure to perform the required periodic and preventative maintenance can void your warranty.
BELTADJUSTMENT:
WALKING BELT TENSION
As walking belts tend to stretch slightly with use, the belt may occasionally need to be tightened. If belt
is too loose, you may find the belt stops while running or walking, while the motor continues to run. DO
NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE BELT. This will cause reduced motor performance and roller damage.
When properly tensioned, you should be able to lift the
side of the belt about 2-3 inches (5-7.5 centimeters). A
quick test for belt tension: you should be able to fit three
fingers under the edge of the belt.
To tighten belt:
Using the allen key provided with the treadmill, place it in the hole in the left rear end cap and into the
socket of the adjustment screw. Turn one full turn clockwise. Then place the allen key in the hole in the
right end cap and turn one full turn clockwise. Check the tension of the belt. Continue to do this until the
belt is at the correct tension. Make sure to adjust both sides equally to ensure correct belt alignment.

15
WALKINGBELTCENTERING
The walking belt may occasionally need to be centered. First be certain that the belt is tensioned
properly. Start the treadmill and run it at about 4km/h. Place the Allen key through the hole in the left
rear end cap and into the socket of the adjustment screw. (See picture below)
1. If belt has moved too far to the right:
Turn the left adjustment screw ½ turn counter clockwise. Let the treadmill run for 30 seconds and
the belt should move to the left. If it still is too far to the right, turn the left adjustment screw an
additional ½ turn. Repeat as needed.
2. If belt has moved too far to the left:
Turn the left adjustment screw ½ turn clockwise. Let the treadmill run for 30 seconds and the belt
should move to the right. If it still is too far to the left, turn the left adjustment screw an additional
½ turn. Repeat as needed.
Continue to run the treadmill 3 minutes to ensure the belt has been centered. Make any
adjustments as needed.

16
MAINTENANCE:
WARNING : ALWAYS UNPLUG THE TREADMILL FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE
CLEANING, LUBRICATING OR SERVICING THE UNIT.
CLEANING
General cleaning the treadmill will prolong the life of the treadmill and improve performance. Keep the unit
clean by dusting regularly. Be sure to dust the exposed part of the deck on either side of the walking belt
and also the side rails.
For best performance, we recommend your treadmill be placed on a treadmill mat. Along with reducing
noise, a treadmill mat will help to keep dust debris away from your treadmill's critical components. Clean
the top of the belt with a wet, soapy cloth. Be careful to keep liquid away from inside the motorized
treadmill frame or underneath the belt.
WARNING : ALWAYS UNPLUG THE TREADMILL FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
BEFORE REMOVING THE MOTOR COVER.
At least once a year remove the motor cover and vacuum under the motor cove with caution.
