SAFETY INFORMATION
Electrical Hazards
Do not connect the table frame to the power supply until it is com-
pletely assembled. Check the electrical equipment of the desk frame
regularly in accordance with national regulations (in Germany these are
the accident prevention regulations) Do not use cables with damaged
insulation. Otherwise there is a risk of an electrical shock. Have da-
maged cables replaced immediately by a specialist company. Do not
lay the supply cables near heat sources, these can be damaged by the
heat. There is also a risk of re or electric shock. Disconnect the table
frame from the power supply if the table is not used for a longer period
of time or if it is not in use.
Desk use
Danger: This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over,
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the appliance and the understand the risks
involved.
Danger: Children must not play with the desk frame!
Danger: Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children
without appropriate supervision.

Do not load the table frame beyond the permissible weight, please
observe the maximum permissible load.

Emergency information
Immediately take the desk frame out of operation if unusual events
(noise, smoke, fumes, etc.) occur. The table frame must be repaired by
a specialist company. Only put the table frame back into operation after
the repair has been completed. If the safety devices (e.g. the control
panel) do not function properly, take the table frame out of operation
immediately.
Special danger areas
When adjusting the table frame, make sure that no persons are near the
table frame. There is a risk of injury. When setting up the table frame,
make sure that it is completely free of collisions (e.g. sloping roof,
structural conditions, pedestals, waste paper baskets, etc.) in all pos-
sible adjustment positions. Also ensure that there are no collisions if
there are objects - e.g. IT equipment - on the table. Keep a lateral safety
distance of at least 25 mm from any other piece of furniture.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Service and maintenance
Please make sure that the product is always in perfect condition. If
necessary, have it checked by qualied personnel at regular intervals.
Do not carry out any repairs to the table or the components yourself.
Do not make any structural changes to the table. Only replace defective
components of the table frame with new original parts from the manu-
facturer. Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer. Please
observe these assembly instructions.
Cleaning
Dust the desk frame with a dry cloth once a week. Clean the table frame
with a damp cloth and mild detergent every 2 weeks.
Noise level of the desk frame
The noise level emitted by this desk frame is <50 dB(A).

These operating and assembly instructions belong to this table. It
contains important information on start-up and handling. Read the
operating and assembly instructions, especially the safety instructions,
carefully before using the table. Non-observance of these operating
and assembly instructions can lead to serious injury or damage to the
table. In foreign countries, also observe country-specic guidelines
and laws. Keep the operating and assembly instructions for further
use near the table so that they are always at hand. If you pass on the
table to a third party, it is essential that you pass these operating and
assembly instructions on.
An electronic version of these operating instructions (PDF) is available
from our customer service.
WARNING: Any alterations or modications not expressly authorised
by the manufacturer will invalidate the warranty and the frame may
not be used.
Residual risks
The desk frame is built according to up-to-date and recognised safety
regulations. Nevertheless, dangers to the life and limb of the user or
third parties or damage to the table frame or other material assets can
occur during use.

Place the control unit and adapter in the centre of the table frame.
Fix the adapter with the supplied bracket (G).
Connect the lifting column cables and the adapter to the control unit.

INITIAL START-UP !
The height-adjustable desk must be initialised before rst use.
1. Press/hold the DOWN key until the desk has reached its lowest position.
2. Release the DOWN button.
3. Press/hold the DOWN key again until the LED display shows „RST“.
4. Release the DOWN button.
5. Press/hold the DOWN key again until the desk lowers further and then moves up slightly.
6. Release the DOWN button.
Your desk is now ready for use.

ERGONOMIC INFORMATION
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! The correct sitting posture
Sitting incorrectly can cause damage to joints, tendons and muscles.
To avoid this, the desk and oce chair must be adjusted accordingly.
Irrespective of the following instructions, an uncomfortable sitting
posture must be avoided. If you nd that one or the other of the follo-
wing tips leads to an uncomfortable sitting position, simply adjust the
positioning to suit your needs.
Desk
Only adjust the desk height once you have found the correct sitting
position. Your elbows should have an angle of 90° - 120° when your
forearms are resting on the desktop. The edge of the table should not
press against your forearms.
Work equipment on the desktop
Any light falling onto your monitor (window or light source) should fall
onto the screen surface at a 90° angle.
The monitor height should be set so that your gaze is directed slightly
downwards towards the centre, and the light should be directed to-
wards the middle of the screen. Keep a distance of approx. 60 - 70 cm
to your monitor. The keyboard should be placed as at as possible to
ensure a comfortable wrist position.

OPERATING NOTES
Observe the regulations and safety instructions starting on page 4.
In particular: Do not leave children unattended with the desk. Children cannot
assess the dangers that can be caused by this desk. Children can be seriously
injured or even killed. Do not exceed the maximum switch-on time of 2 minu-
tes for the desk. Make sure that there is sucient space to avoid collisions.
This is especially true if there are objects on the work surface, such as compu-
ters, work materials, etc.
Malfunctions
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Immediately remove yourself from
the immediate vicinity of the stand if it should move without being operated. In
this case, avoid operating the stand. Do not use the desk until it has been com-
pletely and professionally repaired. Do not use the worktable if anything unusu-
al occurs (e.g. loud noises, smoke, etc.). Only have the work table repaired by a
specialist. Do not use the work table any more if safety risks should arise.
