Assembly Instructions

Xsede Single Bench Assembly
Tools Required
• Box Cutter/Utility Knife
• Rubber Mallet
• Cordless Drill w/#2 & #3 Phillips head bit drive
• Set of Standard/Metric Allen wrench key/drives
Hardware Required
1 - Single C-base (standard/extended height)
1 - Right Back Panel (1, or 2 fasteners)
1 - Center Back Panel (0, 1, or 2 fasteners)
1 - Left Back Panel (1, or 2 fasteners)
1 - Right End Panel (optional)
1 - Left End Panel (optional)
1 - Worksurface
1 - Ganging Tray
Installation
1. Using a knife, open each individual box removing all pan-
els from their respective boxes. Note: keep left, right, and
center panels separate from each other.
2. If attaching c-base and worksurface ONLY, skip to step
12.
3. Lay back panels on a non-marring surface. Push panels
together and slide down to lock pre-installed mod-eez clips
and screws. Use a rubber mallet if needed. See Figure B.
4. Attach end panel brackets as shown in Figure C using drill,
#2 drive, and wood screws packed with bracket.
5. Repeat step 2 for end panels. Note: right panel will have
mod-eez screws and left end panel will have mod-eez
clips. See Figure C.
6. Locate single bench crossrails and attach as shown in Fig-
ure D using drill, #3 drive, and 1/4-20 machine screws for
all back panels. Note: there are left and right crossrails,
slide over the top of the end panel bracket.

7. Attach end panel bracket to crossrails using M4 Allen
wrench key or drill/drive and button head screws packed
with bracket. See Figure E.
8. Align columns with column tubes as shown in Figure F.
Slide columns into tubes and slide c-foot over base of col-
umn. Attach and tighten using 2 button head screws in base
box and 3/16” Allen key/drive. Repeat for rest of bases.
9. Using 3/32” Allen wrench key and 10-32 set screws, thread
in back side of crossrails and tighten to secure columns in
crossrails. Repeat for rest of bases. See Figure G.
10. Lift unit onto glides carefully supporting all panels.
11. Slide ganging tray underneath crossrail from one base con-
necting to next base. Attach using M4 Allen wrench key/
drive and 2 button head screws. This can be done before or
after attaching worksurface to base. See Figure H.
12. Refer to user manual packed in box and Xsede Adjustable
Height Base Assembly AI for completion of base assembly.
13. Attach worksurface centered on base using drill, #2 Philips
drive, and wood screws packed with base. See Figure I.
14. Finish assembly by attaching up/down switch. Refer to
base user manual.
15. Refer to electrical AI’s for attaching electrical options and
trays. Can be done before or after worksurface.
