User's Guide

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
. Rough handling of product may cause physical damage or malfunction.
. Never insert anything metallic into the device openings. Doing so may create the
danger of electric shock.
. To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of the device. Only a qualified should
open the monitor’s case.
. To prevent overheating, the openings on the device should not be blocked or covered.
. t is not recommended to use this product in a desert or extremely hot location.
. Put this device in a location with low humidity and a minimum of dust. Avoid places
like damp basement or dusty hallways.
. Do not attempt to remove the product cover, as you will be exposed to a shock hazard.
The back cover should only be removed by qualified service personnel.
. Please do not disassemble the product. No service will be provided in that case.

PRODUCT APPEARANCE & BASIC FUNCTIONS
① Power nput: Standard adapter or DC6V ~18V available.
② Power LED: Lights on/off to display power status.
③ SD N 1 ~ 4: Connection with 4 SD nput (SD/HD/3G) cables.
④ HDM OUT: HDM Output cable connector.
⑤ SD OUT: SD Output cable connector.
⑥ SD LED 1 ~ 4: Lights on/off to display SD nput.
⑦ USB: A port for PC control program & firmware update.
⑧ UP/ENTER: change selection by moving up on the quad view screen. On the OSD menu,
press and hold this button to select an item(ENTER).
⑨ DOWN/ENTER: change selection by moving down on the quad view screen. On the OSD
menu, press and hold this button to select an item(ENTER).
⑩ MENU: opens the OSD menu. (when user connects and uses PC software, MENU key won’t
work)

⑪ SER AL: The port for connection with a Tally Control Box.
⑫ Dip Switch function: t activates functions described as below.
•nput Label Display: turns on/off input label(e.g.'CAM1') display. The input label can be
set by using PC software.
•Outline Box: Turns on/off outline box. By the selected outline box, Audio is also
selected and can be out to the output port, either HDM /SD . Press and hold Up or Down
button for one second to switch between Full Screen and Quad View Screen.
•Audio Level Meters : Turn this on to display audio level meters.
•Channel 1 Audio Only: activates SD 1 Audio output only.
•Output Format Selection: change the output resolution (e.g. 720/50p, 1080/30p). This
menu turns the converter on in the device.
•Timecode Display : Turns on/off time code display such as L TC,V TC1,V TC2.
•Closed Caption On : turns on Closed Caption Display. This mode only works with
HD/SD-SD signal including caption and when format synchronizes.

OSD MENU
OUTPUT FORMAT
User can select one of available output formats regardless of the input format.
HDMI OUTPUT
On the HDM output, the color mode can be selected. (Default : YUV422)
VIDEO PATTERN
Video Pattern can be displayed to test signal when there's no input device.
The selectable patterns are 100% Color Bar, 75% Color Bar, RP219, Blue(100%),
Green(100%), Red(100%), Blue(75%), Green(75%), Red(75%), 100%(White) ~ 0% (Black).
Please note that the monitor should be able to display 1920 x 1080/30p to see the test pattern,
because the output format is fixed to 1920 x 1080 / 30p when a pattern is being displayed
AUDIO PATTERN
t is able to generate audio tones such as 1, 2, 3, 4 khz.
FLIP MODE
t is able to flip output screen by selecting H, V, or H&V flip.
TIMECODE
t is able to choose L TC, V TC1 or V TC2 format.
CC(Closed Caption) Display
t is able to activate closed caption. This mode only works with HD/SD-SD signal including
caption and when format synchronizes.
Bo Color (Outline Bo Color)
t is able to choose among blue, green and gray.
* t displays Firmware and PLD Version.
