INTRODUZIONE
Il localizzatore B.OND. DT07 è la nuova unità telematica con alimentazione
autonoma (SPD - Self Powered Device) progettata per funzionalità di
tracciamento avanzate e monitoraggio remoto di autovetture, mezzi pesanti,
furgoni, motoveicoli e beni mobili (Asset Management).
B.OND. DT07 è la soluzione ideale per tutte le applicazioni nelle quali è
necessario monitorare i mezzi per lunghi periodi. Il dispositivo puó essere
facilmente installato ovunque perché non richiede cablaggi e antenne esterne.

UTILIZZO ALL’INTERNO DEGLI OSPEDALI
Spegnete il dispositivo in prossimità di apparecchiature medicali; in particolare
potrebberovericarsiinterferenzeconstimolatoricardiacieprotesiacustiche.
Ponetelamassimaattenzionenell’utilizzodeldispositivonegliospedalienei
centri sanitari, in quanto è possibile che siano in uso dispositivi sensibili a segnali
esterni di radiofrequenza. Nei centri sanitari, dove espressamente indicato,
l’apparecchiovatenutospento.
UTILIZZO IN PROSSIMITÀ DI MATERIALI ESPLOSIVI
Non utilizzate il dispositivo in depositi di carburante, impianti chimici o in aree
caratterizzate dalla presenza di gas esplosivi o dove sono in corso operazioni
con esplosivi. Sarà necessario rispettare le limitazioni e attenersi a qualunque
norma o disposizione prevista.

Per un corretto funzionamento, si raccomanda di attenersi a queste indicazioni.
Lasceltaottimaledellaposizionediinstallazionedell’unitàdeveconsiderare
alcuni fattori, in particolare, è raccomandato:
• Alfinedi evitare l’esposizione umana ai campi elettromagneticia
radiofrequenza, la distanza del dispositivo rispetto agli occupanti del veicolo
deve essere superiore a 0,20 m.
• Installare il dispositivo in posizione orizzontale, con il lato superiore (quello
conl’etichetta) rivolta verso l’altoin modo che possarilevare il maggior
numero di satelliti GPS possibile.

INTRODUCTION
B.OND. DT07 is the new self-powered (SPD) telematic device projected for the
advanced tracking and remote monitoring of cars, trucks, means of transport
and motorcycle.
B.OND. DT07 is the ideal solution for those applications where it is necessary
to protect the vehicles for a long time, as the device does not require external
cables and antennas.

ROAD SAFETY

the electronic equipment is shielded against RF signals. Do not place the device
in the air bag deployment area.
AIRCRAFT SAFETY
Switch off your device when on board aircrafts by disconnecting the power
supplyand deactivating the internalbackup battery.UsingGSM devices on
aircrafts is illegal.
HOSPITAL SAFETY
Do not use the device near health equipment, especially pacemakers and hearing
aids, in order to avoid potential interferences. Take care when utilizing the device
inside hospitals and medical centres, which make use of equipment that could
be sensitive to external RF signals. Switch it off when use is expressly forbidden.
EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS
Do not use the device in refuelling points, near fuel or chemicals. Do not use the
devicewhereblastingisinprogress.Observerestrictionsandfollowanyspecic
regulation or instruction.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Do not use this device in direct contact with the human body and keep a minimum
distance of 20 cm from it and from the antenna.

For a correct operation, please follow these indications carefully.
When choosing the best position for the unit installation, some factors must be
considered, in particular it is recommended:
• Inordertoavoidhumanexposuretoradiofrequencyelectromagneticelds,
the distance between the device and the people in the vehicle must be greater
than 0.20 m.
• Install the device in horizontal position, with the upper side (the one with
the label) pointing upwards so that it can detect as many GPS satellites as
possible.

The symbol of a crossed waste container marked on the apparatus or on its
package indicates that at the end of its useful life the product must be collected
separately from other waste materials.
The user must therefore take the apparatus which has reached the end of its useful
life to appropriate separate collection centres for electronic and electro-technical
waste materials, or deliver it back to the reseller when purchasing a new apparatus
of an equivalent type for a domestic unit, giving one piece in for one piece out,
according to Art. 11, paragraph 3 of the above mentioned Legislative Decree.
Furthermore, as per Art.11, paragraph 3 of the above mentioned Legislative Decree it is
possible, in the sale point, the free insertion of recyclable materials into appropriate receptacle,

PROCEDURA DI ATTIVAZIONE
1. Per attivare il dispositivo avvicinare un magnete al sensore Reed (come
mostrato in foto), allontanarlo velocemente e attendere il lampeggio continuo
del Led.
Unavoltaattivato,ildispositivocercheràdieffettuarelalocalizzazionetramite
i satelliti GPS.
La ricerca del segnale GPS é visualizzato da un lampeggio del Led ogni
secondoepotrebbedurarenoa10minuti.
Successivamente B.OND. DT07 entrerà nella fase di registrazione alla rete
GSM.L’entratainquestafasesaràsegnalatadaundoppiolampeggiodel
Led seguito da una pausa di 1 secondo.
Il dispositivo tenterà di registrarsi per un tempo massimo di 2 minuti.
TerminatalaregistrazioneGSM,l’attivazioneéconclusaedilLedverràspento
per ridurre i consumi.
Attenzione: la fase di attivazione potrebbe durare no a 12 minuti
(10’ GPS + 2’ GSM).
2. Nel caso in cui il Led effettui un singolo lampeggio e poi si spenga é necessario
ripetere la procedura di attivazione. Attendere 5-10 secondi e ripetere la
sequenzadescrittanelpunto1,noaquandoilLedcominceràalampeggiare.
• Singolo Lampeggio (1 lampeggio – 1 sec spento): Ricerca Posizione GPS
• Doppio Lampeggio (2 lampeggi – 1 sec spento): Ricerca Rete GSM
3. Unavoltaattivato,lafunzionalitàdellocalizzatoreèbasatasuunprolodi
default(impostazionidifabbrica).Sesivoglionomodicareiparametri,è
necessario contattare il Venditore.
NOTA: L’uso del Reed magnetico e del Led diagnostico è limitato
alla prima attivazione del dispositivo. Una volta attivato il Reed non
deve più essere stimolato magneticamente.
Il LED non fornirà ulteriori indicazioni.

This product has a 12 months warranty from date of purchase, validated by
the receipt or invoice.
The warranty will be void if the product shows signs of tampering, incorrect
installation, damages caused by fall or transport, negligence and anything else
not caused by manufcturing defects.

injuries of any kind, direct or indirect, to people or damages to things. For any

• The GSM antenna is integrated in the device: when installing the device it is
necessary to avoid that the upper surface and the sides of the devices are
covered by metal parts.
• Install the device in a compartment as far as possible from any other electronic
system.
• Donotinstallthedevicenearthemagneticeldofthespeakersonboardor
othermagneticsources.ThemagneticeldcanimproperlyactivatetheReed
switch, reducing battery life.
• Installthedeviceonpartsrmlyconnectedtothecarframeand/ortothecar
body, avoiding moving and plastic parts.
• Keep away from exhaust pipes or from other heat sources.
• Do not install the device under carbon parts or shielded areas, which may
prevent the reception of the data from the satellites.
• Avoid sudden changes in temperature and humidity.
SUGGESTED LOCATIONS FOR INSTALLATION
The device can be also installed inside the bumper, as it is protected with a
watertight case (WP IP67).

by placing it on the lower side of the device.
For a better grip, clean the surface before applying the double sided sticky tape.
ACTIVATION PROCEDURE
1. To activate the device move a magnet close to the Reed sensor (as shown in
thepicture),thenmoveitawayquicklyandwaitforacontinuousLedashing.
Once activated, the device will try to localize through the GPS satellites. The
searchforGPSsignalisindicatedbyaLedashingeverysecondanditcould
go on up to 10 minutes.
Soon thereafter B.OND. DT07 will start the registration to the GSM network.
ThisphaseisindicatedbyadoubleashoftheLedfollowedbya1second
pause. The device will attempt to register for a maximum time of 2 minutes.
OncetheGSMregistrationiscompleted,theactivationisnishedandthe
LED will be switched off to reduce consumption.
Attention: the activation could take about 12 minutes
(10’ GPS + 2’ GSM).
2. IncasetheLedmakesasingleashandthenturnsoff,itisnecessarytorepeat
the activation procedure. Wait for 5-10 seconds and repeat the sequence
describedatpoint1tilltheLedstartsashing.

•Double(2ashes–1secoff):SearchingGSMnetwork
3. Once activated, the functionality of SPD B.OND. DT07 is based on a default
prole(factorysettings).Ifyouwanttochangetheparametersyouneedto
contact the Vendor.
NOTE: The use of magnetic Reed and diagnostic Led is limited to
the rst activation of the device. Once activated, the Reed must no
longer be magnetically stimulated.
The LED will not provide further indications.
