Cleaning and care
Warning!

Storage

General warnings about batteries
- Alkaline batteries can not be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
Children are not allowed to change batteries without supervision.
- Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
- Do not throw batteries into a fire or expose them to excessive heat.
- Batteries must not be swallowed!
- In order to enjoy the article for a long time, always remove batteries from an article if it is not used for a long
time. Thus, they prevent the batteries from discharging and protect the item from any leakage of the battery.
- If batteries have leaked, remove them from the battery compartment using a cloth and dispose of them as
intended.
- Avoid skin and eye contact with the battery acid. If you have eye contact with the battery acid, rinse your eyes
with plenty of water and contact a doctor immediately.
If the skin comes into contact with the battery acid, wash it off with plenty of soap and water.
- Please take into account that the article consume a small amount of electricity even when switched off
(stand-by mode) (quiescent current). This is a normal and technically inevitable process which has nothing to
do with the quality and performance of the battery or the product itself.

instructions
Please observe the instructions in the operating instructions before putting the
article into operation.

First steps and commissioning of the article
Commissioning the article
1) Please carefully remove each ball and tree top from the box and place them on a smooth surface. Please make
sure that the balls and the tree top can not fall off the smooth surface.
2) Assembling the battery compartment with batteries: open the battery compartment by unscrewing the ball‘s catch
in the direction of the open.
3) Equip the battery compartment with a AAA alkaline battery (included) and close the lid of the ball again.
4) Next you also equip the battery compartment of the tree top with a AAA alkaline battery and close the battery
compartment with the plastic base of the tree top by carefully screwing it to the battery compartment.
5) Start-up of the infrared remote control: Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow to the
rear. Insert the two enclosed AAA alkaline batteries with the correct polarity into the battery compartment and
then close it again.
Note: the Christmas tree ball set with tree top can only be operated with the included infrared remote control.
6) Press the „ON“ button on the remote control to check the function of the Christmas tree balls and the tree top. If
these shine, you have done everything right.
7) Find a nice, suitable place in your apartment for the Christmas tree balls and tree top and put them into operation
by means of the remote control. With the string you can hang the Christmas tree balls.
If you want to remove or change the batteries of the remote control.
By slightly pressing and pushing the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow, the battery
compartment opens. Now you can completely remove the battery compartment cover. Insert the correct batteries
(1.5V AAA batteries) with the correct polarity into the battery compartment. The battery compartment can now be
closed again. To check, briefly press the „ON“ button and check whether the red signal light is lit. If the signal light
does not light, check the correct use of the batteries again.
