IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS TIPS
1. Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance.
2. Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip. The receipt and if possible
the box with inner packaging in a safe place!
3. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and others working environments;
–farmhouses;
–by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
–bed and breakfast type environments.
4. This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
10. Never leave the appliance unsupervised if it is use!
Always switch off the appliance if you are not using it, even if only for a
brief period.

5. Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or
when you are attaching accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a
malfunction. Switch off the appliance. Do not pull the cable, pull the plug.
6. Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safe from electric
shocks. Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of the reach of
children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down.
7. Check the cable and the appliance regularly for damage.
Do not switch on the appliance if it is damaged.
8. Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorized professional
instead.
9. Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture,
sharp edges and such like.

16. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below
combustible material, such as curtains.
17. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
18. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical. Sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
19. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

21. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
22. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

Check the delivery contents for completeness immediately after unpacking.
Remove all packaging materials and plastic film from the appliance.

USING YOUR TOASTER
1. Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed safety plug (120V~ 60Hz).
2. Turn the selector switch clockwise to set the toasting level from the lightest
stage 1 to the darkest stage 6. If in any doubt, start with the lower setting
(the black mark on the selector switch shows you the setting).
3. Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks.
4. The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off immediately once
the set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up
automatically.
5. The appliance has heat-insulated casing. However, as metal parts still heat up
during operation, please allow cooling down before you put it away.
6. The toaster only allowed 2 slices of the toaster to be toasted at a time.
7. The grill is only allowed to adjust to the minimum toast.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance
to cool down.
2. Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
3. Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
4. Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove the bread residue
and push the shaft back in.
