Important:Metalfiltersthatareheavilysaturatedwithgreaseshouldnotbecleanedatthesametimeasanycrockery,etc.❑Ifthefiltermatisgoingtobecleanedbyhand,soakitfirstofallinahotdeter-gentsolutionforseveralhours.Cleanthefilterwithabrush,rinseitoffthoroughlyandallowittodripdry.❑Useonlyoriginalreplacementfilters.Insodoingyouwillbeensuringthattheextractorhoodperformsaseffectivelyaspossible.RemovingandinstallingthegreasefilterExtractorhoodswithafiltermat:1.Rotatethehandlesontheleftandrightofthefiltergrille.2.Presstheretainingspringandremovethefilterframe.3.Removethewiregrilleandreplacethefiltermat.4.Installthefilterframeinreversesequence.Re-attachtheretainingspring.Theleftandrightsidesofthefilterframemustlockintoposition!Removingandinstallingtheactiva-tedcarbonfilterExtractorhoodswithafiltermat:1.Removethefilter;seegreasefilter.❑Thewiregrilleisnolongerrequiredwhenanactivatedcarbonfilterisinstalled.2.Placetheactivatedcarbonfilteronthefiltermatandclampitin.3.Installthefilterframe.❑Seegreasefilter.Activatedcarbonfilter

5Extractorhoodswithtwofiltercartridges:1.Removethefiltercartridge.❑Seegreasefilter.

2.Insertthescrewthroughthewingnutandthesleeveandscrewinthemiddlescrewinthefalsebottom(requiredonlyduringtheinitialinstallation).Screw,sleeveandwingnutareenclosedwiththeactivatedcarbonfilter.

3.Usingascrewdriver,pressinthetwolugsonthefalsebottom.Ifaspacerrailhasbeeninstalled,itmustberemoved.4.Tapeovertheactivatedcarbonfilterwiththeenclosedsealingstrip.5.Inserttheactivatedcarbonfilterattherear,foldupandlockinthemiddlewiththewingnut.Ifthespacerrailhasbeenremoved,itmustbere-installed.
