ABOUT BOSLEY®REVITALIZER
Created by Bosley, a worldwide leader in hair loss treatments for over 40
years, the Revitalizer Laser Hair Restoration system delivers leading-edge
technology to promote hair regrowth in the privacy of your home. The
FDA-cleared device is designed for portability, ease and convenience to
support consistent hair growth treatment and optimal results.
Bosley Revitalizer is uniquely designed with a Controller Pod that makes
starting and tracking your therapy sessions easy. For your convenience, the
power button and indicator light illuminate when therapy is in progress.
HOW IT WORKS
Bosley Revitalizer uses Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) technology to treat
the scalp and hair follicles. This clinically proven therapy helps stimulate
cellular activity and blood circulation to treat hair loss and promote hair
growth.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Hair loss is a concern for millions of men and women, and can be caused
by many factors, including genetics and health conditions. The most
common reason is androgenetic alopecia, a hereditary condition that
accounts for 98% of hair loss in men and women.
Bosley Revitalizer Laser Hair Restoration system is indicated to promote
hair growth in males with androgenetic alopecia who have Norwood-
Hamilton classications of IIa to V patterns of hair loss, and in females with
androgenetic alopecia who have Ludwig-Savin Classications of I-1 to I-4,
II-1 to II-2, or frontal; both with Fitzpatrick Skin Phototypes I to IV.

Fitzpatrick Classication of Skin Types:
Low Level Laser Light Technology has only been tested on the following
Fitzpatrick Skin Types:
Type 1: Highly sun sensitive, always burns, never tans
Type 2: Very sun sensitive, burns easily, tans minimally
Type 3: Sun sensitive skin, sometimes tans, slowly tans to light brown
Type 4: Minimally sun sensitive, burns minimally, always tans
to moderate brown
LLLT has NOT been tested on the following Fitzpatrick Skin Types:
Type 5: Sun insensitive skin, rarely burns, tans well
Type 6: Sun insensitive skin, never burns, deeply pigmented

INTENDED USE
Bosley Revitalizer Laser Hair Restoration system is intended for self-service
hair loss treatment and is intended for use on the human scalp only. Any
other use is not recommended.
FREQUENCY & DURATION OF USE
The Bosley Revitalizer can help promote hair growth when used as
directed. For best results, use the device every other day for a maximum
of 30 minutes per session.
Note: Exceeding the recommended time or frequency of use will not
increase effectiveness. Do not exceed the recommended usage unless
directed by your hair restoration Physician. Do not use the laser cap on
consecutive days.

INSTALLING & CHARGING BATTERY
To install the battery, slide the protective cover down. Lift the Battery Pack
protective cover upward. Insert batteries ensuring the “+” and “-” symbols
match. Slide the protective cover to close.
Prior to rst-time use, charge the lithium battery fully to extend its lifespan.
A fully charged battery can power up to 5 laser treatments. Allow 4-5 hours
per charge.
To charge, connect the AC adapter to the battery compartment and plug
into power outlet. The LED indicator light will icker during charging and
remain static when battery is fully charged.
When ready to use your Bosley Revitalizer, disconnect the AC adapter
from the battery compartment.

For your safety, please read and follow these important safety precautions:
• To avoid eye injury, do not look directly at or stare at the laser beam or
light source.
• Do not aim the laser beam at other people.
• Under low ambient light conditions, Bosley Revitalizer may cause
dazzling, ash blindness and an afterimage.
• Any operation or application that is not strictly in accordance with
specied methods in the manual may cause injuries.
• Do not immerse the device in water or use near liquids to protect
against the risk of electrical shock.
• This device should not be used by children, by individuals whose
physical, sensory or mental abilities prevent safe use of the appliance,
or by individuals with limited knowledge of how to use the device. Close
supervision is needed when using this appliance near these individuals.
• Do not alter this device in any way as it may result in radiation exposure.
• Contact Bosley if the power supply is damaged to avoid risk of an
electrical hazard or damage to the device.

STEP 1Fully charge the batteries before rst use.
(Approximately 6 hours, or when all 4 lights are on.)
STEP 4Place the Revitalizer cap on your head.
THE REVITALIZER CAP WILL NOT FUNCTION
UNLESS IT IS PLACED ON YOUR HEAD.
STEP 3Before use, disconnect the battery pack from the
wall charger. If the battery pack is connected to the
wall charger the device will not power on.
STEP 2Connect the battery pack to the Revitalizer cap.
Be sure to locate and align the arrows.

At the end of the 30-minute treatment cycle, the cap will automatically
turn off. When treatment ends there is a beep sound.

Locate the controller pod which is located on the
cable between the Revitalizer cap and the battery
pack. Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds.
The cap is on when the white arch is illuminated.
The laser treatment is ongoing when the yellow
indicator light is illuminated.
To verify the Revitalizer cap treatment has started,
look into a mirror and you will notice that red laser
lights are pulsating on and off.
The 30-minute treatment has started.

If the Revitalizer Cap is removed from your head during the 30-minute
treatment cycle, the cap will automatically pause the treatment cycle. The
green and yellow indicator lights will ash intermittently indicating the
treatment cycle is paused.
To resume the treatment cycle, place the cap back on your head and the
yellow indicator light will remain illuminated indicating the treatment cycle
has resumed. If the cap is not replaced on to your head within 10
minutes, the cap will automatically turn off.
To manually turn off the Revitalizer Cap, press and hold the Power Button
for 4 seconds.
CLEANING
Unplug your device and disconnect all cables before cleaning. Gently
wipe the inner surface of the Revitalizer Cap with a soft cloth and rubbing
alcohol.
STORAGE
To extend the life of your Bosley Revitalizer, remove the battery if you
will not be using your device for an extended period. Store in ambient
temperature between 4°F to 131°F.

OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• You must use the supplied battery, cable and charger/AC adapter
power supply.
• To avoid re, electric shock or explosion, do not: disassemble,
incinerate, heat, short circuit or place the battery or charger in high-
temperature environments or around heat-producing appliances or
use in other equipment serving different purposes.
• Use the supplied charger/power supply. It is strictly forbidden to use
a power supply that does not match the required voltage to avoid
damage, re or electric shock.
• Do not cover the charger while in use to prevent a re.
• Do not use a wet battery or charger and plug, or unplug the power
with wet hands to avoid re and electric shock due to short circuit.
• Disconnect the charger when not in use.
• Before the battery is removed, turn off the power switch and unplug
the charger.
WARNING: Avoid wrapping the cable around the neck to prevent
strangulation.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1) Charge the batteries for 6 hours to
achieve a full charge.
2) Open the battery pack and conrm that
the batteries are seated correctly and that
the polarity of the batteries
+ / – are installed correctly.
3) Conrm that the wall charger is plugged
into the battery pack and into the wall.
4) If the lights do not illuminate then
contact Bosley.
1) Make sure batteries are fully charged.
2) Conrm that the battery pack is discon-
nected from the wall charger.

3) Check if cable is connected to the Revi-
talizer cap correctly? Be sure to align the
arrows when connecting the cables.

and look in the mirror to verify that the red

TROUBLESHOOTING continued...
1) Make sure the battery pack is not
connected to the wall charger. Open the
battery pack by sliding the cover with your
thumb.
2) Take out the batteries for 1 minute.
Replace and make sure they are in correctly.
The plus sign on the battery goes where
the plus sign is on the inside of the
battery pack.
3. After the batteries are back in and the
cover is put back on, then try holding down
the power button again. If the lights do not
go on then contact us.

WARRANTY POLICY
Your Bosley Revitalizer is protected by a limited warranty against
defects in material and workmanship for a limited warranty period.
If Bosley determines that the device suffers such a defect during the
limited warranty period, the parts will be repaired or replaced with
new or refurbished parts at no cost to you. This warranty is provided
only to you and is not transferable.
The warranty does not cover any failure, defect or damage resulting
from use of the device that does not comply with its intended
function, improper installation, unauthorized maintenance, misuse,
vandalism, or acts of God.
