Introduction
What is included?
Safety considerations when installing
Your new MRWT69 waketower speaker is high-power,
fully-waterproof 4-way full range system featuring one 6” x 9” mid-bass
driver, one 2” midrange, and two 1” polymer dome tweeters.
understands that waketower speakers are used in many
different types of installations. Our versatile mounting solutions give
you the ability to attach this waketower speaker to mounting bars
with diameters of 2” - 3” (51 - 76 mm).
When first unpacking this waketower speaker system, please check
that the package contains each of the items listed below. If something
is missing, contact the store where you purchased the product.
Please remember that this speaker is heavy and will be installed in a boating
environment. These vehicles can travel at high speeds and be unstable.
So please consider this and use extreme caution.
Some safety considerations include:
1- Do not mount the speaker in a location where someone may either walk
into or strike their head. During a turbulent ride, please make sure that you do
not loosen footing and fall or hit the speaker, or it may cause injury.
2- Secure the wires to the speaker in multiple locations along their route to
your audio source, so that there are no hanging loops of wire. Having unsecure
wires in any hanging conditions can cause entanglement and injury.
3- Tighten the mounting clamp with rubber inserts using care. Do not over
compress the rubber inserts. After installation is complete, please recheck all
bolts and tighten them further if needed before taking your boat or vessel out
for an audio adventure.
4- Do not install the speaker where it may block the view of the pilot and
prevent safe operation of the vessel or vehicle.
All specifications are subject to
change without notice.

Mounting
1. The speaker is pre-attached with a mounting clamp via two supplied bolts.
Find two bolts attached to the upper clamp. Then unfasten the bolts to remove the upper clamp from
the speaker.
Important notes on mounting
●
2. Place a supplied rubber pad on the inner surface of the lower clamp which is fixed to the speaker.
The rubber pad is used to prevent abrasion and secure clamping.
3. Place the other supplied rubber pad on the surface of the mounting bar.
Then tighten the upper clamp to the lower clamp with the two bolts. Make sure both bolts are evenly
tightened.
It is strongly recommended that you work with an assistant to install the speaker.
●The supplied rubber mounting pads must be used to prevent abrasion and secure clamping.
●To ensure security of the mounted speaker, check the mounting conditions (e.g. clamp fastening) of
the speaker regularly or before each vehicle ride.
●The supplied clamps accept the tubing ranged Ø 2” – 3” (51 - 76 mm) to attain strong and safe hold. If
a gap around the clamped tube occurs for clamping looseness, use universally available rubber
inserts to fill the gap to prevent the movement of the mounted speaker.
●Use only the supplied accessory for mounting. Using other mounting methods may void the warranty.
