■接続のしかた
このたびは、ボリューム・ペダルFV-50Hをお買い上げいただき、まことに
ありがとうございます。
本機の優れた機能を十分にご理解いただき、末永くご愛用いただくために、
この取扱説明書をよくお読みくださるようお願い申し上げます。
■特長
FV-50Hは、ギターなどの出力インピーダンスの高いものを直接接続する
場合に適した、高入力インピーダンスの小型軽量ステレオ・フット・ボ
リュームです。ミニマム・ボリュームにより、最小時の音量が自由に設定
でき、演奏に応じてペダルの音量コントロール範囲を変えることが出来ま
す。また、ライブ・ステージでのチューニングがスムーズに行なえる
チューナー・アウト・ジャックも装備しています。
■ご使用上の注意
●次のような場所でのご使用や保存は、故障の原因となりますので、ご注意ください。
○温度が極端に高い場所（直射日光の当たる場所、暖房器具の近く、発熱する機器の上
など）
○水気の近く（風呂場、洗面台、濡れた床など）や湿度の高い場所
○ホコリの多い場所
○振動の多い場所
●通常のお手入れは、柔らかい布で空拭きするか、堅く絞った布で汚れを拭き取ってく
ださい。汚れが激しいときは、中性洗剤で汚れを拭き取ってから、必ず柔らかい布で
空拭きしてください。
●変色や変形の原因となるベンジン、シンナー及びアルコール類は、絶対にご使用にな
らないでください。
●本機に強い衝撃を与えないでください。
●本機に異物（硬貨や針金など）、または液体（水、ジュース、酒など）を入れないよ
うに注意してください。
●本機に異常や故障が生じた場合は直ちに使用を中止し、お買い上げ店、またはローラ
ンド・サービスへご連絡ください。
●当社では、この製品の補修用性能部品（製品の機能を維持するために必要な部品）
を、製造打切後6年間保有しています。この部品保有期間を修理可能の期間とさせて
いただきます。保有期間が経過した後も、故障箇所によっては修理可能の場合があり
ますので、お買い上げ店、または最寄りのローランド・サービスにご相談ください。

■操作方法
1.ギター、FV-50H、アンプを正しく接続します。
2.ペダルをいっぱいに踏み込み、ギターのボリュームとアンプのボリューム
で最大音量を設定します。
3.ギターとアンプのボリュームを変えずに、ペダルを戻した（上げた）状態
にし、ペダルのミニマム・ボリュームを調節して、最小音量を設定しま
す。（ミニマム・ボリュームで最大音量は変えられません。）
4.ペダルのミニマム・ボリュームで設定した最小音量から、ギター及びアン
プのボリュームで設定した最大音量までが、ペダルでコントロールできる
音量の範囲です。
■チューナー・アウトの使いかた
ギターの出力をFV-50HのINPUT1へ接続し、チューナー・アウト・ジャッ
クにチューナーを接続します。（INPUT2の音はチューナー・アウトから出
力されません。）この状態でペダルを戻して（上げて）チューニングすれ
ば、アンプから音を出さずにチューニングできます。（このとき、ミニマ
ム・ボリュームは0にしておきます。）

CONNECTIONS
IMPORTANT NOTES
Do not subject the unit to temperature extremes (eg., direct sunlight in an
enclosed vehicle). Avoid using or storing the unit in dusty or humid areas, or
areas that are subject to high levels of vibration.
For everyday cleaning wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth or one that has been
slightly dampened with water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a mild, non-
abrasivedetergent.Afterwards,besuretowipetheunitthoroughlywithasoft,
dry cloth.
Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of any kind, to avoid the
possibility of discoloration and/or deformation.
Protect the unit from strong impact.
Do not allow objects or liquids of any kind to penetrate the unit. In the event
ofsuchanoccurrence,discontinueuseimmediately.Contactqualifiedservice
personnel as soon as possible.
Should a malfunction occur, or if you suspect there is a problem, discontinue
use immediately. Contact qualified service personnel as soon as possible.

FEATURES
The BOSS stereo Foot Volume FV-50H, though light and compact, has
high input impedance, therefore can be directly connected with a high
impedance unit such as a guitar. The Minimum Volume allows you to
set the lowest volume at any level you like, thereby freely set the
minimumeffectofthepedaldependingonthetypeofperformanceyou
are aiming at. Also, it features the Tuner Out Jack for quick and easy
tuning during live performance.

OPERATION
1. Set up the FV-50H with a guitar and an amplifier as shown in
"CONNECTIONS".
2.Press the pedal down as far as it goes, and set the maximum volume
using the volume knobs of the guitar and the amplifier.
3. Return the position of the pedal to its highest position, and set the
minimum volume by using the Minimum Volume Knob on the FV-
50H. (The Minimum Volume Knob does not affect the maximum
volume.)
4.Nowyoucancontrolthevolumeby usingthepedalwithintherange
between the maximum and the minimum volume you have set.
HOW TO USE THE TUNER OUT JACK
Connecttheoutputof theguitarto theInputJack1ontheFV-50H, then
connect the Tuner Out to the input jack on the tuner. (The signal of the
Input 2 is not sent out from the Tuner Out.) Then return the pedal to its
highestposition,andtunetheinstruments.Inthisway,thereisnosound
comingfromtheamplifier.(BesuretosettheMinimumvolumetozero.)
