After you have unpacked the speaker system, check all

A Safety Considerations
While we have designed the mounting system to provide
asafe and sta bleInstallation, It 1s importa nt to
rememberthese are objects thatwlll be used in an
environment that is extremely bumpy and turbulent.

be placed and secured.

Installation
1) Unpack a nd disassemble the clamps from the speaker s. M ake sure you account for all
hardware when removing It from thecl amps. There are lock washers tha t must be re -
Installed on the clamps .
2) Determinethe loca tion ofthe speakers.
3) Determi ne the correct rubber clamp adapters that are needed for your appl ication.
4) The rubber adapters will need to be cut to len gth, so t hey fit the enclosure and clamp ,
5) After the rubber clamps have been cut, removet he wh iteprotecti ve layer and stlck
th em to the clamp and enclosure.
6) Pl ace thespeakeron the tower and have the top tl amp ready to place on top.
7) Screw the cwo bolts evenly, until s nug .O nce rhe positi on 1s verified, tighten t he bol ts
another ha lf-turn. DO NOT OVERT I GHTEN I
8) The speakersc1ccept upto 16 ga . wi re , It ls recommended you use ahigh-quality marine
grade spea ke r cab le foryour Installation.

1) When Wiring thespea ke r sys tem, use onlyhigh qualitymarine sp eaker wire.
2) Also take Intoaccount the length of wire when terminating at spea kers. There needs to
be some ext ra w ir e l eft aroundthespeaker so Jn the eventof extreme conditions the
wire doesn'tpull or d is connectanything v it al to thev eh icle.
3) Keep the wire aw ay from sha rpobjects, a lw ays use a rubber grommet when running
wire th rough metal tubes.
4) Plan the entire sy s tem and note the amp l[fier Impedance stabllity priorto wl rin g,

head-unit. For optimum performance, It Is recommended they are

For a 4- ch system, it is importantthe Front and Rear are connected to their
respective sides (leftand right) to retain correct stereo I maging.
If using an amplifier, for best performance, set the h ig h-pass filter to 120 Hz.

WARRANTY
This product has a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser f9r a period of one
year from the date-of-purchase (DOP). This manufacturer warranty is non-transferable. The warranty is for repair or replacement at the
sole discretion of BOSS AUDIO SYSTEMS (BAS). For service under this warranty you need to return the product to BAS. If replaced, BAS
reserves the right to replace it with a new or reconditioned product of the same or similar design.
Your product may qualify for afree extended warranty. Please see www.bossaudio.com for the qualifications and details of this program.
Obtain Warranty Service
Within the first 30 days from the original DOP, BAS will provideareturn shipping label for any defective productshipped from within the
50 US States. After the first 30 days you are responsible for the freight charges incurred to send the product back to BAS. To send a
product in for warranty service you will need the following:
• AReturn Authorization number (RA#). Please contact our Customer Service to receive a RA#.
• A legible copy of the proof-of-purchase with your name, the name of the authorized dealer, the DOP and the model number
of the product requiring service.
• Enclose a note stating the problem or issues with the product, ydur daytime phone number, email and return shipping address
(within the USA, no P.O. Box please).
This warranty does not cover any product subjected to abuse, neglect, incorrect wiring, water or physical damage or any attempt to
repair or modify the product by anyone other than an BAS Repair Technician. Any damages, resulting from legal action for breach of
expressed or implied warranty shall be limited to the cost of the original purchase price of the product. All liability for coincidental
damages are excluded under this warranty. The Customer agrees to retain the original proof-of-purchase for establishing the effective
date of this warranty. If BAS or an Authorized Dealer replace your product under warranty, the replacement product shall be considered
atransaction under the original warranty, and does not extend the original warranty period.
