Robotic Workstation Installation
- Install Heli port in any available space on your workstation deck as
described in Benchtop Installation.
- Position Heli port as required for access to robotic manipulators.
- Connect the remote access cable to the remote port next to the
power switch.
- Connect the remote cable to any 3 pin port with the following
(L-R) pinout:
- Blank / +24V / -24V
- Position plate cradles onto top surface as desired for matrixing to
automated scri pts.
-Heli port is now ready for remote operation!
Heated Mode
-Heli port features a heating system that can supply additional heat
for larger jobs or samples with high melt points.
- The heating system is self-thermostatting and will maintain a
steady current of 90F air at the thawing surface.
-As a safety precaution the heating system can only be operated
with the fans running.
- Heated mode requires the use of the included restrictor plate to
create the optimum delivery of properly warmed air.
- Install the restrictor plate so that the pins along its longest edge
mount to the last row of holes on the thawing surface.
-Configure the remaining thawing surface as needed.
-Power on the heating system by moving the switch labled “Heater”
to the on position.
-Allow roughly 1-2 minutes for the heaters to reach operating
temperature.
- The heating system can be powered down by switching the
Heater power switch to the off position or by switching off the unit’s
main power.
