1/ A L’ATTENTION DE L’UTILISATEUR
A. Consign s d sécurité
Lire attentivement toutes es instru tions et onserver le manuel pour de futures utilisations.
1. Vérifier que la tension du se teur orrespond bien à elle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil.
2. Utiliser la bouilloire sur une surfa e plate et stable. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil près d’une surfa e
haude ou sur le so le d’un autre appareil éle trique. .
3. Ne pas remplir la bouilloire lorsqu’elle est sur son so le.
4. Ne pas utiliser la bouilloire pour faire bouillir autre hose que de l’eau. Ne pas dépasser la quantité
maximale indiquée. Ne pas faire fon tionner l’appareil si le niveau d’eau est inférieur à la quantité
minimale indiquée.
5. Ne pas tremper l’appareil dans de l’eau ou un autre liquide. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil ave une
rallonge à moins d’avoir fait vérifier sa qualité par un te hni ien qualifié.
6. Afin d'éviter tout danger, ne pas utiliser la bouilloire en en as d’in ompatibilité entre la prise de
ourant et la fi he de l’appareil ou si le âble est endommagé.
7. Essuyer les quelques goutes d’eau qui se trouvent sur la bouilloire avant de l’utiliser.
8. Ne pas laisser la bouilloire sans surveillan e lorsqu’elle est en fon tionnement.
9. Cet appareil n’a pas été onçu pour un usage par des personnes (enfants y ompris) aux apa ités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou sans expérien e ou onnaissan e ; à moins de
l’utiliser sous surveillan e ou après avoir été dûment instruites sur son mode d’emploi par une
personne responsable de leur sé urité.
10. Ne pas tou her la surfa e haude mais utiliser la poignée. Faites attention à la vapeur qui s’é happe
du be , surtout lorsque vous versez l’eau de la bouilloire au ré ipient.
11. Ne pas laisser le âble de bran hement pendre sur le bord de la table ou tou her une surfa e
haude. Toujours ranger le ordon dans le ompartiment prévu à et effet.
12. Afin d’éviter tout danger, toujours débran her l’appareil lorsqu’il n’y a pas d’eau dans la bouilloire,
que vous la remplissez d’eau, qu’elle n’est pas en ours d’utilisation, avant de la nettoyer et de la
dépla er.
13. Ne pas utiliser un autre so le que elui qui vous a été fourni. L’utilisation d’a essoires non
re ommandés par BRANDT est dangereuse et peut auser des in idents.
14. Ne jamais tenter de réparer l’appareil vous-même.
15. Cet appareil est uniquement destiné à un usage domestique. Ne pas l’utiliser à l’extérieur.

Arrivé en fin de vie, e produit ne doit pas être jeté ave les ordures ménagères. Il doit être

2/ PREPARATION DE VOTRE APPAREIL

B. Avant la pr mièr utilisation
Avant d’utiliser votre bouilloire pour la première fois ou si vous ne l’avez pas utilisée depuis longtemps, remplissez
la verseuse jusqu’au niveau maximum, faites bouillir l’eau puis jetez-la afin de retirer de votre bouilloire toute
parti ule. Ne pas boire ette eau.
3/ UTILISATION DE VOTRE APPAREIL
1. Poser le so le de la bouilloire sur une surfa e lisse.
2. Ouvrir le ouver le en pressant le bouton d’ouverture situé sur la poignée.
3. Retirer la bouilloire de son so le. Remplir la bouilloire d’eau selon la quantité désirée tout en
tenant ompte du niveau minimum et maximum d’eau indiqué à l’intérieur de la bouilloire
pour les modèles BO1019X, BO1019M et BO1019N et à l’extérieur de la bouilloire pour le
modèle BO1019.
4. Refermer le ouver le et pla er la bouilloire sur son so le.
5. Bran her l’appareil à une prise de ourant et l’allumer en pressant l’interrupteur situé sous la
poignée. Le voyant lumineux s’allumera pour indiquer que la bouilloire est en fon tionnement
et hauffe. Une fois l’eau bouillie, la bouilloire s’éteindra automatiquement ainsi que le voyant
lumineux.
6. Retirer la bouilloire de sa base et verser l’eau dans une tasse ou dans un autre ré ipient.
7. Mettre le so le hors tension, si la bouilloire n’est pas utilisée régulièrement.

4/ ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE APPAREIL
A. N ttoyag d la bouilloir
•Pour un bon entretien de la bouilloire, veuillez la nettoyer régulièrement et en retirer les parti ules
al aires.
•Pour éviter tout danger, toujours débran her la bouilloire du so le et la laisser refroidir avant de la
nettoyer.
•Ne pas utiliser de paille de fer ou de produits himiques abrasifs pour nettoyer l’extérieur de la
bouilloire pour ne pas la rayer.
1. Remplir la bouilloire ave 0.50L de vinaigre et le restant d’eau. Laisser agir pendant
une heure environ.
2. Vider la bouilloire de la solution. Essuyer les parti ules restantes ave un hiffon
humide.
3. Remplir la bouilloire d’eau propre et faire bouillir l’eau puis la jeter. Répéter l’opération
une se onde fois et la bouilloire sera prête à être utilisée. Si né essaire répéter
l’opération à plusieurs reprises.
4. Essuyer la surfa e de la bouilloire ave un hiffon humide et la polir ave un hiffon
se et doux.
B. Détartrag
Ave le temps, il est possible que des dépôts de al aire se forment à l’intérieur de la bouilloire. C’est
normal, mais un ex ès de al aire peut empê her le bon fon tionnement de l’appareil. Pour enlever
tout reste de al aire, utilisez des produits désin rustants du ommer e.
N’essayez jamais de désin ruster le al aire en grattant ou en ra lant l’intérieur de la bouilloire.

1/ INFORMATION FOR THE USER
A. Saf ty r comm ndations
Please read these instru tions arefully before using the applian e and keep this manual for future
use.
1. To avoid ir uit overload, do not operate another high wattage applian e on the same ir uit.
2. Ele tri kettle must be operated on a flat surfa e. Do not pla e this applian e on or near a hot
gas or ele tri burner or on the top of other ele tri applian es of the base unit.
3. Do not fill kettle when positioned on base.
4. Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Do not fill above the "max" indi ation.
Do not operate kettle if water is below minimum.
5. Do not immerse any part of the applian e in water or other liquid. Do not use your applian e
with an extension ord unless this ord has been he ked and tested by a qualified te hni ian or
servi e person.
6. In the event of in ompatibility between the mains so ket and the applian e plug or if the power
able is damaged, it should be repla ed by the manufa turer, its after sale servi e or a qualified
professional in order to avoid any danger
7. Dry the water on the bottom of the body before pla e it onto power base.
8. Never leave the applian e unattended when in use.
9. Close supervision is ne essary when your applian e is being used near hildren or infirm
persons.
10. Do not tou h hot surfa es, use the handle. Be aware of steam being emitted from spout or lid
espe ially during refilling. Do not remove lid during boiling y le.
11. Do not let the power ord hang over the edge of the table or tou h hot surfa es. Always store
ex ess portion of the power ord in the ompartment
12. To avoid any danger, always unplug from the plug so ket when in following onditions: No water
in kettle, filling water, not in use, before leaning or moving kettle.
13. Do not use a base unit other than the one supplied. The use of a essory atta hments not
re ommended by the manufa turer may result in injury and an be dangerous.
14. Never repair the applian e by yourself.
15. To redu e the risk of fire or ele tri sho k, do not remove the bottom over of the body or the
power base by yourself. Do not insert any obje t into slots or holes of the kettle.
16. This applian e is for household use only. Do not use outdoor.

For the first time to use or no use for a long time, it is re ommended that you fill to the maximum
level mark with fresh tap water, boil and empty the kettle at least 2 times to lear kettle of any tiny
parti les. Do not drink su h water.
3/ USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Put the power stand on a lear and smooth surfa e
2. Press the lid opening button on the lid.
3. Remove the kettle from the base to the filling pla e. Fill the kettle with desired amount (no
less than the minimum amount and no more than the maximum). The level is noted inside the
kettle for BO1019X, BO1019M and BO1019N and outside for BO1019.
4. Pla e the kettle ba k on the power base.
5. Conne t the plug into a power outlet (220-240V, AC); swit h the kettle on by pressing the
power swit h pla ed on the base of the handle. The light will illuminate to indi ate the kettle
is heating. The kettle will automati ally swit h off on e the water has boiled and the light goes
off.
6. Lift the kettle from the base, and you an pour out the water into a ontainer.

4/ CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
A. Cl aning th k ttl
•To prolong the kettle's life, lean the mineral deposits in the kettle regularly.
•To avoid any danger, always unplug from the plug so ket and allow it to ool down before leaning.
•Do not use hemi al, steel wool, or abrasive leaners to lean the outside of the kettle, as these will
s rat h the surfa e and fade the outside olour.
1. Fill the kettle with 0.50L white vinegar and the remainder with water and allow it to
stand for over 1 hour.
2. Empty the solution from the kettle. Wipe off the deposits remained with damp loth.
3. Fill the kettle with lean water, bring to boil and then dis ard the water. Repeat and
the kettle will be ready to use.
4. If ne essary, repeat the operations above for several times.
5. The surfa e of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp loth and polished with a
soft dry loth.
B. D calcification
After a period of time, al areous deposits a umulate on the inside of the kettle. This is normal,
although an ex essive amount of lime may affe t the proper fun tioning of the kettle. If this should
o ur, use a ommer ially-available de al ifying solution. Never try to de al ify the kettle by hipping
away or s rat hing.
