AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER
Your Bremont watch shows you the time in hours, minutes and seconds,
and the date. The mechanical movement with automatic winding has a
free-swinging rotor that keeps the mainspring wound via the motion of your
wrist. The movement in your HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA SPECIAL EDITION
has 21 jewels, runs at 28,800 A/h and has a 38-hour power reserve once
fully wound. The watch is water resistant to 100m (10ATM) and the dial is
protected by a multi-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal that is retained
securely in the case.
To ensure that this rather special watch continues to run beautifully for
years to come you must follow a few important operating instructions...
wINDING THE wATCH
Your watch has a screw-in crown. The purpose of the screw-in crown is
to protect the watch from penetrating water and to avoid unintentional
adjustment of the time or date. To unscrew the crown, rotate the crown
to the left where it will automatically assume position I. This position is
also the winding position for the watch, and you can manually wind the
watch by hand. The movement will automatically start with just a few

revolutions of the rotor, however it is better to wind the movement fully
with 30-40 revolutions of the crown in a clockwise direction. By doing this
you will achieve maximum accuracy and have a power reserve of 38-hours,
even when the watch is not on your wrist.
SETTING THE DATE
You can adjust the date by unscrewing the crown in an anti-clockwise
direction and pulling it out to position II. You will now be able to change
the date by rotating the crown anti-clockwise
SETTING THE TImE
You can adjust the time by unscrewing the crown in an anti-clockwise
direction and pulling it out to position III, this will stop the movement,
you can now position the minute hand exactly. To start the second hand,
push the crown back to position I. When setting the time, it is worth
noting that the date change always takes place at mid-night (00:00). If this
change has already taken place at 12:00 noon, you must move the hands
forward by 12 hours. Ensure that the crown is screwed back in after setting
the watch. This can be achieved by gently pressing the crown down whilst
rotating it in a clockwise direction.
CHRONOmETER TESTING
Your Bremont watch is chronometer tested and accompanied by a performance
certificate issued by the ‘Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres’ (COSC) to
show that the mechanical movement has passed all of the rigorous precision
tests - a necessity of the chronometer designation.
Important Notice: Remember to complete and return the COSC registration
card to Bremont to register your watch and receive your certicate.
The chronometer certification, which takes 15 days to complete over several
different temperature ranges and watch positions, means that the average
daily variation rate will be between -4 and +6 seconds. With 86,400 seconds
in a single day, this gives Bremont’s watches an accuracy of 99.998%.
wATCH CARE
Bremont watches are put through extensive testing before they are released
from the workshop - whether it is for time-keeping precision, temperature,
shock and scratch resistance or pressure testing; all of our strict tolerances have
to be met. Although Bremont watches have more than proved their resilience
before they are released from our workshop, we want to ensure that the
enjoyment that comes from wearing a Bremont timepiece lasts generations.
We therefore recommend that the following tips for watch care are observed...

TEMPERATURE
Keeping the watch in contact with wrist will help minimize any
exposure to extremes. Bremont recommend that you do not
wear your watch near hot water, for example in the shower,
steam room or jacuzzi. Extreme changes in temperature can cause
moisture to permeate the seals and cause condensation to form
inside of the watch.
CHEMICALS
Wash with warm fresh water if it is exposed to solvents etc. to
avoid damage to seals and watch straps.
CLEANING
Use warm water followed by a microfibre cloth to clean metal and sapphire.
CROWN
Ensure that the crown is pushed in to prevent entry of water into
the mechanism.
SEA WATER
Wash with fresh water following exposure to saline water.
SHOCKS AND JOLTS
Avoid any heavy shocks to the watch.
MAGNETIC FIELDS
Avoid contact with electrical equipment and strong magnets such
as speakers, magnetic tablet case covers and radio alarm clocks.

CHRONOMÈTRE AUTOMATIQUE
Votre montre Bremont indique les heures, minutes et secondes ainsi que la
date. Le mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique est équipé d’un
rotor à oscillation libre, qui remonte continuellement le ressort de barillet
grâce au mouvement de votre poignet. Le mouvement de votre chronographe
HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA SPECIAL EDITION arbore 21 rubis, fonctionne à 28
800 bph (battement par heure) et, une fois complètement remonté, présente
une réserve de marche de 38 heures. La montre est étanche à 100 m (10 ATM) et
le cadran est protégé par un verre saphir multicouche anti-reflets solidement
fixé dans le boîtier.

importantes...
COmmENT REmONTER vOTRE mONTRE
Votre montre est équipée d’une couronne vissée. La couronne vissée
contribue à l’étanchéité de la montre et permet d’éviter un déréglage
involontaire de la date et de l’heure. Pour dévisser la couronne, faites la
tourner vers la gauche pour la mettre automatiquement en position I. Cette
position permet également de remonter la montre manuellement. Quelques

TEST Du CHRONOmèTRE
Le mouvement du chronomètre de votre montre Bremont a été testé selon
un programme d’épreuves rigoureuses supervisé par le Contrôle officiel
suisse des chronomètres (COSC). Ce n’est qu’à l’issue de ces tests que lui a
été remis le certificat de conformité qui lui permet de porter la désignation
de « chronomètre ».
Remarque importante : pensez à remplir et à renvoyer à Bremont la
carte d’enregistrement du COSC pour enregistrer votre montre et
recevoir votre certicat.
La certification de chronomètre, délivrée à l’issue d’une épreuve de 15 jours
au cours de laquelle la montre est soumise à différentes températures et
positions, garantit un taux de variation quotidien compris entre –4 et +6
secondes. Une seule journée étant composée de 86 400 secondes, les
montres Bremont présentent donc une précision avoisinant les 99,998 %.
ENTRETIEN DE LA mONTRE
Les montres Bremont subissent un programme de tests rigoureux avant de
sortir de nos ateliers, notamment des tests de précision des chronomètres,
de température, de résistance aux chocs et aux rayures ou encore des tests
tours du rotor suffisent pour démarrer le mouvement automatiquement,
mais il est recommandé de le remonter complètement en appliquant 30 à
40 tours à la couronne. Cela vous permet de garantir une précision maximale
et une réserve de marche d’environ 38 heures, même lorsque vous ne portez
pas la montre au poignet.
RéGLER LA DATE
Vous pouvez régler la date en dévissant la couronne dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d’une montre, et en la tirant doucement pour l’amener en
position II. Vous pouvez alors modifier la date en tournant la couronne
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
RéGLER L’HEuRE
Dévissez la couronne dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre et placez-
la en position III pour interrompre le mouvement. Vous pouvez à présent
positionner l’aiguille des minutes avec précision. Pour démarrer l’aiguille des
secondes, appuyez sur la couronne pour la remettre en position I. Lorsque
vous réglez l’heure, gardez à l’esprit que le changement de date a toujours
lieu à minuit (24 h 00). Si ce changement a déjà eu lieu à midi, vous devez
avancer les aiguilles de 12 heures. Assurez-vous de revisser la couronne en
position après le réglage de la montre. Pour ce faire, appuyez doucement sur la
couronne tout en la faisant tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

C’est pourquoi nous vous recommandons de suivre ces conseils d’entretien :
NETTOYAGE
Pour nettoyer le métal et le saphir, utilisez de l’eau chaude, puis
passez un chiffon.
COURONNE
Veillez toujours à ce que la couronne soit bien vissée pour éviter
toute infiltration d’eau dans le mécanisme.
EAU DE MER
Rincez votre montre à l’eau douce après un bain de mer.
CHOCS ET SECOUSSES
Évitez tout choc important sur la montre.
CHAMPS MAGNÉTIQUES
Évitez tout contact avec du matériel électrique et des aimants
puissants, comme des haut-parleurs, des housses de tablettes
magnétiques et des radios-réveils.
TEMPÉRATURE
En conservant la montre au contact de votre poignet, vous éviterez
les risques d’exposition à des températures extrêmes. Bremont
vous conseille de ne pas porter votre montre près de sources d’eau
chaude, que ce soit sous la douche, ou dans un sauna ou un jacuzzi.
Les variations de température extrêmes peuvent affecter l’étanchéité
du boîtier et entraîner la pénétration de l’humidité et la formation de
condensation à l’intérieur de la montre.
PRODUITS CHIMIQUES
En cas de contact avec un solvant ou autre produit chimique, rincez
la montre à l’eau douce tiède pour éviter d’endommager les joints et
le bracelet.

ENTRETIEN
Chaque composant de votre montre a été soigneusement choisi parmi les
meilleurs matériaux existants. Malgré cela, un certain nombre de pièces sont
soumises à un processus d’usure naturelle. Il est donc important que ces
points d’usure soient régulièrement lubrifiés. Nous vous recommandons de
faire réviser votre montre tous les 3 à 5 ans.

AUTOMATISCHER CHRONOMETER
Ihre Bremont-Uhr zeigt Ihnen sowohl die Uhrzeit in Stunden, Minuten
und Sekunden als auch das Datum an. Das mechanische Uhrwerk mit
automatischem Aufzug verfügt über einen freischwingenden Rotor, mit dem
die Zugfeder durch die Bewegung Ihres Handgelenks immer aufgezogen
bleibt. Das Uhrwerk Ihrer HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA SPECIAL EDITION hat 21
Lagersteine, läuft mit 28.800 Schlägen pro Stunde und hat bei vollständigem
Aufzug eine Gangreserve von 38 Stunden. Die Uhr ist bis 100 m (10 bar/
ATM) wasserdicht. Das Zifferblatt wird durch ein mehrlagiges, entspiegeltes
Saphirglas geschützt, das sicher im Gehäuse gehalten wird.
Um sicherzugehen, dass diese ganz besondere Uhr noch viele Jahre
ausgezeichnet läuft, sollten Sie einige wichtige Hinweise zur Nutzung
der Uhr beachten
AuFzIEHEN DER uHR
Ihre Uhr ist mit einer verschraubten Krone ausgestattet. Die verschraubte Krone
soll einerseits verhindern, dass Wasser in Ihre Uhr eindringt, und andererseits
vermeiden, dass Zeit oder Datum unabsichtlich verstellt werden. Wenn Sie die
Krone aufschrauben möchten, drehen Sie sie nach links, wo sie automatisch auf
Position I gelangt. Diese Position ist auch die Aufzugsposition der Uhr. Sie können

Sie können das Datum ändern, indem Sie die Krone entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn
aufdrehen und auf Position II herausziehen. Jetzt können Sie das Datum einstellen,
indem Sie die Krone entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
EINSTELLEN DER zEIT
Sie können die Zeit einstellen, indem Sie die Aufzugskrone entgegen dem
Uhrzeigersinn herausdrehen und bis zu Position III herausziehen, damit das
Uhrwerk stehen bleibt. Nun können Sie den Minutenzeiger in die richtige
Position bringen. Um den Sekundenzeiger wieder zu starten, drücken Sie die
Aufzugskrone in Position I zurück. Beim Einstellen der Zeit ist zu beachten,
dass der Datumswechsel immer um Mitternacht (24 Uhr) erfolgt. Hat dieser
Wechsel bereits um 12 Uhr mittags stattgefunden, sollten Sie die Zeiger um
12 Stunden vorstellen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Krone nach dem Einstellen
der Uhr wieder zugeschraubt wird. Dafür müssen Sie die Krone leicht
hinunterdrücken und sie gleichzeitig im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
TESTEN DES CHRONOmETERS
Ihre Bremont-Uhr wurde einem Chronometer-Test unterzogen. Es liegt ein
Leistungszertifikat des offiziellen Schweizer Chronometer-Testzentrums
(Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, COSC) bei, um nachzuweisen,
dass das mechanische Uhrwerk alle strengen Präzisionstests bestanden hat.
Dieser Nachweis ist für die Bezeichnung Chronometer erforderlich.
Wichtiger Hinweis: Vergessen Sie nicht, Ihre COSC-Zertizierung auszufüllen
und an Bremont zurückzuschicken, um Ihre Uhr zu registrieren und Ihr
Zertikat zu erhalten.
Die Chronometer-Zertifizierung, deren Ablauf 15 Tage dauert und die bei
verschiedenen Temperaturbereichen und Positionen der Uhr durchgeführt
wird, bedeutet, dass die tägliche Abweichung im Durchschnitt zwischen
-4 und +6 Sekunden liegt. Mit 86.400 Sekunden an einem einzigen Tag
erreichen Bremont-Uhren eine Genauigkeit von 99.998 %.
PFLEGE DER uHR
Bremont-Uhren werden umfassenden Tests unterzogen, bevor sie unsere
Werkstatt verlassen. Dies umfasst Tests für zeitliche Präzision, Temperatur,
Stoß- und Kratzfestigkeit oder Druck – die Testergebnisse müssen alle
im Rahmen unserer engen Toleranzbereiche liegen. Obwohl Bremont-

Uhren ihre Belastbarkeit vor ihrer Freigabe in unserer Werkstatt mehr
als bewiesen haben, möchten wir sicherstellen, dass die Freude an einer
Bremont-Uhr mehrere Generationen anhält. Wir empfehlen daher, die
folgenden Hinweise zur Pflege der Uhr zu beachten:
REINIGUNG
Reinigen Sie Metall und Saphir mit warmem Wasser und einem
Mikrofasertuch.
AUFZUGSKRONE
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Aufzugskrone immer hineingedrückt ist,
um zu verhindern, dass Wasser in den Mechanismus eindringt.
MEERWASSER
Waschen Sie die Uhr mit frischem Wasser ab, nachdem sie mit
Salzwasser in Berührung gekommen ist.
STÖßE UND RÜTTELN
Vermeiden Sie, dass die Uhr starken Stößen ausgesetzt wird.
MAGNETFELDER
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit elektrischen Geräten und starken
Magneten wie Lautsprechern, magnetischen Tablet-Hüllen und
Funkweckern.
TEMPERATUR
Wenn die Uhr am Handgelenk anliegt, trägt dies dazu bei, dass sie so
wenig wie möglich extremen Temperaturen ausgesetzt wird. Bremont
rät Ihnen davon ab, die Uhr in der Nähe von heißem Wasser zu tragen,
zum Beispiel in der Dusche, im Dampfbad oder im Whirlpool. Extreme
Temperaturveränderungen können dazu führen, dass Feuchtigkeit durch
die Dichtungen dringt und im Inneren der Uhr zu Kondensation führt.
CHEMIKALIEN
Waschen Sie die Uhr mit warmem, frischem Wasser ab, wenn sie
mit Lösungsmitteln u. ä. in Berührung gekommen ist, um Schäden an
Dichtungen oder am Armband zu verhindern.

wARTuNG
Für jede Komponente Ihrer Uhr wurden die besten zur Verfügung stehenden
Materialien ausgewählt. Dennoch unterliegen einige Komponenten immer
einem natürlichen Verschleiß. Es ist daher wichtig, dass diese Verschleißpunkte
stets geschmiert werden. Deshalb empfehlen wir, dass Sie Ihre Uhr alle drei bis
fünf Jahre warten lassen.
Bremont-Uhren sollten nur von einem zertifizierten Bremont-Händler

CARICAmENTO DELL’OROLOGIO
L’orologio è dotato di una corona a vite. Lo scopo della corona a vite è
proteggere l’orologio dalla penetrazione dell’acqua e impedire che data e
orario vengano modificati accidentalmente. Per svitare la corona, ruotarla
verso sinistra, dove raggiungerà automaticamente la posizione I. Quella
posizione è anche la posizione di carica, ed è possibile caricare l’orologio

Usare l’estremità dell’utensile a

TEST DEL CRONOmETRO
Il cronometro del vostro orologio Bremont è stato testato ed è
accompagnato da una certificazione emessa dal “Contrôle officiel suisse

di esposizione a diverse temperature e posizioni dell’orologio, attesta che
il tasso di variazione medio giornaliero è compreso tra -4 e +6 secondi. Con
86.400 secondi in un unico giorno, gli orologi Bremont sono dotati di una
precisione del 99,998%.
CuRA DELL’OROLOGIO
Prima di essere messi in vendita, gli orologi Bremont sono sottoposti
a specifici test riguardanti la precisione dell’orario, la temperatura, la
resistenza agli urti e ai graffi e la pressione; tutti i nostri rigorosi standard
devono essere rispettati. Anche se, prima di essere messi in vendita, gli
orologi Bremont hanno dimostrato la loro resilienza, vogliamo essere
manualmente. Il movimento inizierà automaticamente dopo solo alcuni
giri del rotore, tuttavia si consiglia di effettuare una carica completa con
30-40 giri della corona. In questo modo otterrete una precisione assoluta
e avrete un’autonomia di funzionamento di 38 ore anche senza indossare
l’orologio al polso.
ImPOSTAzIONE DELLA DATA
Per modificare la data, svitare la corona in senso antiorario e metterla in
posizione II. Ruotare quindi la corona in senso antiorario e modificare la data.
ImPOSTAzIONE DELL’ORARIO
Per modificare l’orario, svitare la corona in senso antiorario e metterla
in posizione III, in tal modo si arresterà il movimento e sarà possibile
posizionare con precisione la lancetta dei minuti. Per far partire la lancetta
dei secondi, rimettere la corona in posizione I. Quando si imposta l’orario,
considerare che la data cambia sempre a mezzanotte (00:00). Se la data è
già cambiata a mezzogiorno (12:00), spostare le lancette in avanti di 12 ore.
Assicurarsi di riavvitare la corona dopo aver impostato l’orologio. Per fare
ciò, ruotarla in senso orario tenendola delicatamente premuta.
