into the hole in the lug and use
the end of the watch tool to
lever the other end into position.
If you require a strap change for your watch it is advised that you visit
your Authorised Dealer to avoid damage to the case.

AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER
Your Bremont watch shows you the time in hours, minutes and seconds,
and the date. With the chronograph you can measure up to 30 minutes
in seconds and minutes. The mechanical movement with automatic
winding has a free-swinging rotor that keeps the mainspring wound via
the motion of your wrist. The movement in your BREMONT JAGUAR
D-TYPE has 28 jewels, runs at 28,800 bph and has a 42-hour power reserve
once fully wound. The watch is water resistant to 100m (10ATM) and the
dial is protected by a multi-layered anti-reflective sapphire crystal that is
retained securely in the case.
To ensure that this rather special watch continues to run beautifully for
years to come you must follow a few important operating instructions...
WINDING THE WATCH
Your BREMONT JAGUAR D-TYPE can be wound from crown position
Iby rotating the crown in a clockwise motion. The movement will
automatically start with just a few revolutions of the rotor, however it is
better to wind the movement fully with 30-40 revolutions of the crown.
By doing this you will achieve maximum accuracy and have a power
reserve of 42-hours, even when the watch is not on your wrist.

SETTING THE DATE
You can adjust the date by pulling out the crown to position II. You will
now be able to change the date by rotating the crown clockwise.
Do not change the date between 20:00 and 03:00
SETTING THE TIME
Pull the crown out to position III, this will stop the movement, you can
now position the minute hand exactly. To start the second hand, push the
crown back to position I. When setting the time, it is worth noting that
the date change always takes place at midnight (00:00). If this change has
already taken place at 12:00 noon, you must move the hands forward by 12
hours. Ensure that the crown is pushed back in after setting the watch.
USING THE TACHYMETER FUNCTION
The Tachymeter is used to measure the speed of an object which is
moving at a constant speed, and is read using a combination of the central
chronograph seconds hand and the tachymeter scale, over a maximum
duration of 60 seconds.
Start the timing operation using push button A and stop it again once the
object has covered a distance of 1 mile or 1 kilometre. When stopped the
chronograph hand will point at a numeral on the tachometer scale,

indicating the speed of the object over the defined distance, this can be
read either in mph or km/h depending on the distance covered.
CHRONOMETER TESTING
Your Bremont watch is chronometer tested to ISO 3159 standard and
accompanied by a performance certificate to show that the mechanical
movement has passed all of the rigorous precision tests - a necessity of the
chronometer designation.
Remember to complete and return the registration card to Bremont to
register your watch and validate your warranty.
The chronometer testing, which takes 15 days to complete over several
different temperature ranges and watch positions, means that the average
daily variation rate will be between -4 and +6 seconds. With 86,400 seconds
in a single day, this gives Bremont’s watches an accuracy of 99.998%.
WATCH CARE
Bremont watches are put through extensive testing before they are released
from the workshop - whether it is for time-keeping precision, temperature,
shock and scratch resistance or pressure testing; all of our strict tolerances have
to be met. Although Bremont watches have more than proved their resilience
before they are released from our workshop, we want to ensure that the

CLEANING
Use warm water followed by a microfibre cloth to clean metal and sapphire.
CROWN
Ensure that the crown is pushed in to prevent entry of water into the
mechanism.
SEA WATER
Wash with fresh water following exposure to saline water.
SHOCKS AND JOLTS
Avoid any heavy shocks to the watch.
MAGNETIC FIELDS
Avoid contact with electrical equipment and strong magnets such as
speakers, magnetic tablet case covers and radio alarm clocks.
TEMPERATURE
Keeping the watch in contact with wrist will help minimize any
exposure to extremes. Bremont recommend that you do not wear
your watch near hot water, for example in the shower, steam room
enjoyment that comes from wearing a Bremont timepiece lasts generations. We
therefore recommend that the following tips for watch care are observed...

permeate the seals and cause condensation to form inside of the
watch.
CHEMICALS
Wash with warm fresh water if it is exposed to solvents etc. to avoid
damage to seals and watch straps.
SERVICING
Every part of your watch has been carefully chosen from the best
selection of materials available. In spite of this, a number of parts will
always be subject to natural wear. It is therefore important that these
points of wear are always kept lubricated. We recommend that you have a
maintenance service carried out every 3 to 5 years.

COMMENT CHANGER LE BRACELET
ÔTER LE BRACELET
Utilisez l’extrémité de votre outil de
montre pour extraire doucement la
barrette à ressort des cornes.
CHANGER LE BRACELET
Placez l’une des extrémités de la
barrette dans l’un des trous reliés aux
cornes et utilisez l’extrémité de votre
outil de montre pour placer l’autre
extrémité à sa place.
Si vous avez besoin de changer le bracelet nous vous conseillons de vous
rendre chez votre Distributeur agréé Bremont pour éviter d’endommager
le boîtier de la montre.

BREMONT JAGUAR D-TYPE LIMITED EDITION
CHRONOMÈTRE AUTOMATIQUE
Votre montre Bremont indique les heures, minutes et secondes ainsi que la
date. Le chronographe vous permet de décompter jusqu’à 30 minutes en
secondes et minutes. Le mouvement mécanique à remontage automatique est
équipé d’un rotor à oscillation libre qui remonte le ressort de barillet en continu
grâce au mouvement de votre poignet. Le mouvement de votre chronographe
BREMONT JAGUAR D-TYPE dispose de 28 rubis, fonctionne à 28 800 bph
(battement par heure) et, une fois complètement remonté, présente une
réserve de marche de 42 heures. La montre est étanche à 100 m (10 ATM) et le
cadran est protégé par un verre saphir anti-reflets double solidement fixé.
Pour que cette montre absolument unique continue de fonctionner parfaitement
au fil des ans, vous devez suivre quelques recommandations importantes...
COMMENT REMONTER VOTRE MONTRE
Il est possible de remonter votre montre BREMONT JAGUAR D-TYPE
lorsque la couronne est en position I en faisant tourner la couronne dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Quelques tours du rotor suffisent pour
démarrer le mouvement automatiquement, mais il est recommandé de
le remonter complètement en appliquant 30 à 40 tours à la couronne.
Cela vous permet de garantir une précision maximale et une réserve de
marche d’environ 42 heures, même lorsque vous ne portez pas la montre au
poignet.

RÉGLER LA DATE
Vous pouvez régler la date en amenant la couronne jusqu’en position II.
Vous pouvez alors modifier la date en tournant la couronne dans le sens
des aiguilles d’une montre.
Ne modiez pas la date entre 20 h 00 et 3 h 00.
RÉGLER L’HEURE
Tirez la couronne et placez-la en position III pour interrompre le
mouvement. Vous pouvez à présent positionner l’aiguille des minutes avec
précision. Pour démarrer l’aiguille des secondes, appuyez sur la couronne
pour la remettre en position I. Lorsque vous réglez l’heure, gardez à
l’esprit que le changement de date a toujours lieu à minuit (24 h 00). Si ce
changement a déjà eu lieu à midi, vous devez avancer les aiguilles de 12
heures. Assurez-vous de revisser la couronne en position après le réglage
de la montre.
UTILISER LA FONCTION TACHYMÈTRE
Le tachymètre sert à mesurer la vitesse d’un objet en mouvement à vitesse
constante. Il se lit en combinant l’aiguille des secondes du chronographe
central et l’échelle tachymétrique, sur une durée maximale de 60
secondes.

Commencez le chronométrage en appuyant sur le bouton A et appuyez à
nouveau dessus une fois que vous avez parcouru 1 mile ou 1 kilomètre. Une
fois immobilisée, l’aiguille du chronographe sera pointée sur un chiffre de
l’échelle tachymétrique, indiquant ainsi la vitesse en mph ou km/h selon
la distance parcourue.
TEST DU CHRONOMÈTRE
La certification de chronomètre, qui est délivrée à l’issue d’une épreuve de 15
jours au cours de laquelle la montre est soumise à différentes températures
et positions, garantit un taux de variation quotidien compris entre –4 et
+6 secondes. Une seule journée étant composée de 86 400 secondes, les
montres Bremont présentent donc une précision avoisinant les 99.998 %.
ENTRETIEN DE LA MONTRE
Les montres Bremont subissent un programme d’épreuves rigoureuses
avant de sortir de nos ateliers, notamment des tests de précision des
chronomètres, de température, de résistance aux chocs et aux rayures
ou encore des tests de pression. Nous veillons à ce que nos critères de
tolérance les plus stricts soient respectés. Même si nous avons obtenu
la preuve de la solidité de nos montres avant leur sortie de nos ateliers,
nous souhaitons veiller à ce que le plaisir de porter une montre Bremont
se renouvelle sur plusieurs générations. C’est pourquoi nous vous
