BriLux DMX Power Washer
BriLux’s DMX Power Washer, with built in DMX
decoder, is a revolutionary solution for
architectural lighting, where maximum light
intensity is required. With built in DMX decoder,
and ease of address programming, this power
washer is suitable for most challenging exterior
conditions and the highest light intensity
requirement, BriLux Power Washer is specially
designed for professionals' need of wall-washing,
color changing effect.
This totally sealed fixture is made of die-cast
aluminum alloy, therefore totally approved for
outdoor specifications. BriLux DMX Power
Washer features special hinge to quickly and
easy adjust the angle or position of the unit,
without need of any special tools.
Enhanced optics and 36 pcs of High Power
LEDs inside guarantee projection of rich,
saturated colors with maximum light intensity.
Integrating into any DMX-512 control system
brings colors into play. Over 16 million rich and
saturated colors produced by a single fixture
create a stunning light show. Wide range of
saturated colors, approval for outdoor application
and outstanding light output entitles BriLux
Power Washer to be a leader in contemporary
LED architectural and decorative lighting.

DMX System Control Layout
Waterproofing the XLR-3 Connector
XLR-3 connector
In order to prevent any electrical failures or bad
connections, the XLR-3 signal connectors of each
lamps must be wrapped with waterproof tape, then
sealed with a Φ20 thermal shrink tubing sleeve for
waterproof purpose.

1. Lamp Basic Modes:
DMX Mode: Set DMX address of lamp
Stand Alone Mode: 7 static color, Seven color chasing, seven color fading, and seven color flashing
Master/Slave Mode: Use for daisy chain connection in DMX mode.
2. Mode Programming:
DMX Mode: set DMX address of each lamp (see step 3.1). Automatically detects DMX512 signal protocols
Stand Alone Mode: choose the effects that you need by pressing the button on the back of lamp (see step 3.2)
Master/Slave Mode: set DMX address as instructed in step 3.3.
3. Instruction for Buttons
To Set Up DMX Address
When the red numeric LED display is not flashing, press button once, LED display begins to flash,
press button to change the value of the flashing bit. Press again, to edit the second value, start
editing the second value by pressing the button again. Repeat the same steps for 3

value.
Note: Range of valid DMX address: 001~512

Example: To Set DMX Address to 256
a) Press once, digit (1) start flashing, press twice to show “2” in digit (1)
b) Press again, digit (2) start flashing, press five times to show “5” in digit (2)
c) Press again, digit (3) start flashing, press six times to show “6” in digit (3)
d) After finished adjusting, leave the keypad alone for 10 seconds to exit the programming. The digital display
stop flashing and memorize the selected parameters.
Stand Alone Mode Programming
Press button four times, wall washer enter into stand alone mode; the LED display shows “PXY”. You can
vary the “X” parameter and “Y” parameter to select the function of the lamp (see table 1 below). Press
again, digit (2) start flashing. Press repeatedly to change the value of the corresponding digit.
Repeat the above steps for the next digit.

X refers to the preset program（the value between 1 to A）, Y refers to value of speed or brightness of the
corresponding programs（the value between 1 to 9）
Example: To Set the Lamp into Stand Alone 7 Color Fade Mode
a) Press 4 times, digit (2) start flashing, press twice to show “2” in digit (2)
b) Press again, digit (3) start flashing, press to adjust the speed of the color fading
c) After finished adjusting, leave the keypad alone for 10 seconds to exit the programming. The digital display stop
flashing and memorize the selected parameters.
To Set up Master/Slave Mode for Serial Connection (without DMX Controller):
a) Choose any one light as the master unit.
b) Set the address of master as 001, others are set as slave (other addresses can be other number except 001)
c) Change function of the master (001) light, then all lights will work synchronously
d) Each light occupies three DMX channels, which is red, green, blue. For example, light with DMX
address 001 occupies the channel 1, 2 and 3; light with DMX address 256 occupies the channel 256, 257
and 258
4. Other Instructions:
a) Please read the operating manual before performing any installation
b) All installations must be performed by qualified technicians.
c) Do not operate this product while it is still in packaging box.

d) Do not cover this product with any objects or install this product in enclosed environment. Please provide proper
ventilations to prevent failures of this product.
e) If this product appears to be damaged, do not operate it and contact your local dealer immediately,
LIMITED WARRANTY
Manufacturer warrants to the Purchaser that each Product manufactured and sold by it will be free from defects in material and
workmanship in its intended use (normal wear and tear excepted) for the period of one year from date of Purchaser's purchase (the
invoice date) from Manufacturer. Manufacturer's warranty flows only to Purchaser. If any Product covered by this warranty is returned
by Purchaser in accordance with Manufacturer's Products Return Policy, including without limitation its return authorization provisions,
within the applicable warranty period set forth above, and upon examination Manufacturer determines to its satisfaction that such Product
was defective in material or workmanship at the time of delivery to the Purchaser, Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace the
Product or the defective part thereof, or reimburse Purchaser for the purchase price. For purposes of clarity, "repair or replace the
Product or the defective part thereof" does not include any reinstallation costs or expenses. If Manufacturer chooses to replace the
Product and is not able to do so because it has been discontinued or is not available, Manufacturer may replace it with a comparable
product. The Products Return Policy is posted on Manufacturer's Internet web site at
http://www.brilliance-led.com/En_terms_conditions.asp. The foregoing notwithstanding, Manufacturer will not be responsible for
damage to any Product resulting from misuse, negligence, acts of God or accident or resulting from repairs or alterations made by any
person or firm not duly authorized by Manufacturer in writing. Purchaser shall convey with each Product distributed to end users the
MANUFACTURER'S LIMITED WARRANTY included by Manufacturer with such Product, and, if Manufacturer determines that the
appropriate remedy for a defective product is refund of Purchaser's purchase price, Purchaser shall refund to the end user (or arrange for
the refund to the end user of) the full purchase price paid by the end user for such defective Product.
THIRD PARTY WARRANTIES
With respect to products sold to the Purchaser by Manufacturer but not manufactured by Manufacturer, MANUFACTURER MAKES NO
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, but will make available to the Purchaser, to the extent permitted by law and relevant
contracts, the warranties of the manufacturer of the relevant product upon the Purchaser's timely written request.
NON-IMPLIED WARRANTIES
THE WARRANTIES GIVEN IN THESE TERMS ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES GIVEN BY THE MANUFACTURER WITH RESPECT TO
THE PRODUCTS AND ARE GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF NON INFRINGEMENT AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
PURCHASER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES, AND MANUFACTURER'S SOLE LIABILITY, FOR ANY NONCONFORMITY OR DEFECT IN
ANY PRODUCT SHALL BE THOSE EXPRESSED HEREIN.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
An essential purpose of the limited exclusive liabilities and remedies in this Agreement is allocation of risks between Manufacturer and
Purchaser, which allocation of risks is reflected in the purchase price for the Products. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL
MANUFACTURER'S LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR MANUFACTURER'S
PERFORMANCE OR ASSERTED FAILURE TO PERFORM HEREUNDER, IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR
OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT TO WHICH SUCH LIABILITY RELATES. IN NO EVENT SHALL
MANUFACTURER BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, PROFITS, BUSINESS OR GOODWILL, WHETHER OR NOT MANUFACTURER HAS
BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF.
