Generator Hoist before operang the device
The design of the Generator Hoist V22 has been reviewed from top to boom with
upgrades to provide improved features and performance for liing and transporng
Tc generators around nuclear medicine departments.
We use only top quality materials and precision components fabricated and
assembled by our highly skilled and experienced engineering team.


1) Posion hoist with boom hook
aligned over the generator
The following procedure is illustrated with a Curium
Tekcis generator which ulises the custom designed
clamp.
The clamp is not required for Curium TKW genera-
tors— simply aach the webbing strap to the boom
arm hook.
2) Posion the clamp over the Tekcis
generator with the hooks tucked under the
generator grab handles.
NOTE
The clamp is designed to li the generator
out of its transport box

3) Switch the power ON
4) Use the hand controller
to lower the boom arm so
the hook is over the Tekcis
generator —adjust the
posion of the hoist if
needed
5) Check boom arm is
locked (clockwise)
6) Aach the clamp/strap to the boom
hook and raise the generator clear of the
oor
NOTE
When transporng a generator keep it
fairly close to the oor

8) Lock the rear castors
7) Transport the hoist &
generator to desired locaon
9) Use hand controller to raise the
generator above the level of the
work surface

10) Unlock the boom arm and
extend as necessary
Then lock the boom arm
11) Use hand controller to
lower the generator into
posion and disconnect the
clamp/strap
12) Retract and lock the boom
13) Switch OFF the power
14) Unlock the castors
15) Return the hoist to storage

The hoist is powered by a sealed
24V lead/acid baery.
Although power consumpon is
relavely low it is important to
maintain full baery charge.
• Insert the jack plug into the
charging socket
• Plug the mains charger into
a 13amp socket
• Switch on the mains socket
The light on the charger will show red or amber whilst charging. It Should turn
green once the baery is charged.
NOTE
Lights on the charger may vary. Please read instrucons included in the packaging.
Use only mild cleaning soluons or alcohol on external surfaces
Do not remove lubricants within the boom arm mechanisms
The hoist has been designed to be free from regular maintenance but may require
servicing aer extended use.
