Set up and operation:
Theunitisdesigned to operatebetween 21Cand 35C. Operation outsideof•
these temperatures could cause compressorfailureand will invalidatethewarranty.
Ifthetemperaturein theroomisabove 35Citisrecommended thatall thedoors
and windowsareopened and theunitrun on Fan onlyto reduce thetemperature.
Sitetheuniton afirmlevel surface and applythecastorbrakes. Do notoperate•
themachinewithoutengaging thecastorbrakes.
Attach the150mm exhaustductand routeto asuitabledischargepoint. Keep the•
ductas shortand straightas possible. Do notoperatetheunitifthehose iskinked
orpuntured. Do notexceed thesupplied length ofexhaustduct.
Should airneed to directed to aparticulararea fittheairdischargehoses to the•
frontoutletsand extend to thedesired dischargepoints.
Do notexceed 1.25Mperhose.
Check thatthewaterdrain tankiscorrectlylocated in it'shousing and the•
flexibledrain hose isinserted into thetank.
Connecttheunitto a230Vac 50Hzpowersupplyand check thatthe'PowerOn'lamp•
isilluminated.
Turn the'Fan On'switch to 'I'to startthefans.•
Turn the'Cooling On'switch to 'I'to startthecompressor. Itshould benoted that•
thecompressorwill notstartifthefansarenotrunning ortheambienttemperature
isbelow21C. Thecompressorisfitted with astartdelay timerand will notrun for
3minutes fromactivation ofthecooling switch. Thisdevice isdesigned to protect
thecompressorfromrepeated start/stop cycles.
Allowaminimumof10 minutes fortheunitto startcooling.•
During thecooling process theunitwill produce condensate(water)which will drain•
into thewaterdrain tank. Once thistankfillsto asetlevel itwill switch the
compressorand fansoff and illuminatethe'TankFull'lamp.
Beforeremoving thewaterdrain tank, and to avoid anypotentiallydamaging•
waterspillage, switch thefansand cooling off and allow5minutes forany
accumulated moisturewithin themachineto drain into thetank.
To emptythetankcarefullyremove itfromthemachineusing thegrab handleon•
thetop bylifting and sliding itforwards. Do notloosen orremove thelargescrewcap
on thefrontofthetank. Once thetankisemptied replace itin thehousing ensuring
itiscorrectlylocated and thattheflexibledrain hose isinserted into thetank.
Themachinecan nowberestarted.•
Ensurethewaterdrain tankisemptypriorto transportation.•
Do notremove thewaterdrain tankwhilethemachineisoperating.•

Maintenance:
1:Check and cleantheevaporatorand condenserheatexchangercoils. Buildup ofdust
and dirtcanseverlyeffecttheperformance ofthemachine. Remove thefrontand rear
panelsand cleanwithcompressedair.
2:Periodicallycheck thewatertankdrainmechanismisoperating correctlyand thedrain
hose ispresentand ingood condition.
3:Regularlyinspectthemainscableand plug forsignsofdamageorwear. Donotoperate
themachinewithadamagedmainscable.
4:Check thatthecastorsarerunning freelyand thatthebreaking mechanismsareworking
correctly.
