1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Keep Children Away: Do not allow children to play with, or around this unit. It
may result in injury. Be sure the unit is inaccessible to children when unattended.
Keep Unit Grounded: Always operate the unit with a grounding plug and a
grounded electrical outlet. A grounding plug is an essential safety feature that
helps reducing the risk of shock or fire.
Protect Power Cord from Damage: Never operate a unit with a damaged power
cord, as this may lead to electrical or fire hazards. If the power supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by a cord of the same type and amperage rating.
Run on Stable Surface: Always operate the unit on a stable, level surface, to
prevent it from falling and cause injury.
Keep Out of Water: Never operate the unit in pooled or standing water, as this
may create a risk of injury due to electrical shock. Do not store or operate it
outdoor. If electrical wiring or components become wet, thoroughly dry them
before using the unit.
Keep Air Intakes Clear: Do not clog or block air intakes, as may occur if operated
too close to draperies or similar materials. This may cause the unit to overheat
and result in a fire or electrical hazard.
Keep Filter Clean: Always use a clean air filter. Do not allow any material to clog
the filter, as this may cause the dehumidifier to overheat. Do not allow oil, grease,
or other contaminants to be drawn into the dehumidifier.
Keep Electrical Components Dry: Never allow water inside the dehumidifier's
electrical components. If these areas become wet for any reason, thoroughly dry
them before using the dehumidifier.
ATTENTION
This dehumidifier must not be used in rooms under the following conditions:
- Potentially explosive atmosphere
- Aggressive atmospheres
- Featuring a high concentration of solvents
- An extremely high ratio of dust

2. GENERAL ADVICES
Before putting your dehumidifier into operation for the first time, the instructions
manual should be studied carefully.
After receiving the unit, you should check your dehumidifier for any transport
damage. In case of damage, you should inform and make a note of it on the
forwarding documents.
Transport damage should be stated after unpacking the equipment. You should
contact immediately your respective seller or specialized trader.
Keep the packing of the unit in a safe place in order to be able to dispatch the
appliance safely in case of warranty. In order to save space, you simply cut
through the adhesive tape using a knife and fold up the cardboard box.
3. DEHUMIDIFIER FUNCTIONING
This dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity from the air in a building or part
of a building. The purpose is to prevent humidity damage, and to dry out wet
materials such as carpet, carpet cushion, floors, walls, furniture, contents, lumber,
and structural materials.
This dehumidifier can avoid the formation of condensate, eliminate high air
humidity and keep constant a certain humidity value. The time necessary for the
dehumidifier to dry a room and reaching the air humidity required strongly
depends on the environmental conditions prevailing at the site of installation of the
appliance. The dehumidifier functions according to the condensation principle with
heat recovery. The fan takes in the humid air through the evaporator. Here the air
is cooled below dew point so that the water vapour present in the air forms a
condensate flowing into the water collecting tank. The cooled and dried air is
heated again at the condenser. By the permanent circulation of the ambient air
through the appliance, the absolute humidity is decreased continuously.

4
4. INSTALLATION AND TRANSPORT
For installation and transport, the following instructions must be considered:
Both air filters and slats located on the dehumidifier’s laterals must not be
covered!
Before moving the dehumidifier’s place of installation, the appliance must
be switched off in the power button. The main plug is to be removed from
the socket and the water tank must be emptied!
The dehumidifier must be installed on a levelled surface otherwise it must
be secured against rolling off.
The dehumidifier must be transported vertically.
If for any reason the appliance has been in a horizontal position for a few
minutes, let it rest in an upright position for at least 30 minutes before
starting. This allows oil to drain back into the compressor.

6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION
-Operate this dehumidifier only in the upright position.
-Plug in to a standard outlet with the correct voltage and current for the unit.
-If the unit shuts off for any reason allow it to rest for five minutes before
restarting it. This will avoid continuous compressor damaging.
-Check dehumidifier daily for correct operation. Protect floor surfaces from
leakage.
For using this dehumidifier, please proceed as follows:
After transported, the dehumidifier should rest 15 minutes. This
procedure is recommended to extend the service life of the compressor.
Insert the plug into the socket.
Check if the water collector tank is inside.
Switch on the power button located at the control panel on the top of the
appliance. Listen for proper operation of fan and compressor before
leaving the unit unattended.
Set the required humidity value at the hygrostat. If the existing humidity is
higher than the set value, the air dryer will start to operate. If not the air
dryer will not start to operate.
7. CONDENSATE OUTLET
This dehumidifier is equipped with water collecting tank and with fittings for 12 mm
diameter hoses. If the water collecting tank is used, the appliance will switch off
automatically when full, turning a red pilot lamp on at the control panel. The
appliance should be electrically disconnected before removing the water collecting
tank, to prevent condensate from accumulating on the floor of the room to be
dried.

7
To use the water pump or the hoses, for draining the condensate, you should
proceed as follows:
Remove the tank from the tank compartment.
Fasten the hose provided with the equipment and then attach it to the
water pan outlets underneath the evaporator. If possible, the hose should
be fastened using a hose clamp.
The end hose level must be located at a lower level than the connection
with the water pan. In case of using a water pump there is no need to
concern with this point, depending on the pump’s characteristics
8. AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING SYSTEM
During normal dehumidifying operation, ice may form on the evaporator. This
dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic hot-gas defroster system and if ice is
detected by the temperature sensor, it will defrost automatically according to the
following principle:
A temperature sensor measures the condition existing in a critical area of
the evaporator.
It transmits the electrical signal for defrosting system. It has been
designed to avoid a frequent defrosting of the dehumidifier.
After some time the relay will switch off the fan and simultaneously open a
solenoid valve.
Now, hot gas is guided into the evaporator until the latter is completely
free of ice.
Subsequently, the dehumidifier will operate again in the normal mode.
9. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
This dehumidifier is designed to operate on a 230V - 50Hz electrical connection.
Make sure that the electrical outlet is grounded and that all safety precautions are
taken.

8
10.OPERATING CONDITIONS
This dehumidifier can be operated within a temperature range from +1 to +35°C
and with a relative humidity of 30% to 90%. It was designed for application in
museums, libraries, schools, residential buildings and many other places.
