CONFIGURATION
The Nighter & Whice control is an SCS control where the traditional
pushbuttons are replaced by capacitive sensors. Touching the area of a
sensor with a finger is the same as pressing a pushbutton. The device can
thus perform some functions typical of an SCS control by simply touching its
surface.
It is available in flush-mounted versions with 3 and 4 modules, with 6 and 8
keys respectively.
Each zone corresponding to a key is marked in the centre by a light blue
LED.
When the user’s finger comes close the intensity increases appreciably and
remains intense until the finger is removed. This effect gives the user the
feeling that he has activated the command.
Use the configurator to change the levels of intensity.

The Nighter & Whice control can work in four different ways:
self-learning, scenarios, swing, CEN.
- The self-learning mode (cyclical or non-cyclical) lets you associate most
of the typical commands of the automation, sound and video door entry
systems, as well as the auxiliary commands, to each key.
- The scenario mode lets you call, program and cancel 6 or 8 scenarios of a
scenario module.
- The switch mode lets you drive 3 or 4 consecutive light points or rolling
shutters (or rooms or groups).
- The CEN mode lets you send commands to the scenario programmer
(MH200).

The functions which can be obtained are listed below.
The Nighter & Whice can be configured in two different ways:
- Physical configuration: putting the physical configurators into their
housings.
- Virtual configuration: the control can be configured remotely, whenever
you do not have the physical configurators.
(For details, refer to the Virtual Configuration guide).
Apart from modality, the control always needs an univocal A/PL address
in the system.

This mode of operation lets you associate a single command to any device key. Each command can be created,
cancelled or modified.

Follow the following procedure to associate a different command to any of
the keys:
1) keep the pushbutton on the back pressed for 3 seconds;
the LEDs light up. Release the pushbutton, the LEDs light up in rotation;
2) touch the key that you want to program within 20 seconds: the LED starts
to flash, indicating that the programming mode has been activated;
3) set the command which you want to associate with the key, acting on the
command or the corresponding actuator. The LEDs start to turn again;
4) at this point you can repeat points 2 and 3 for all the keys, also for a key
for which the association has been made if you want to change it;
5) press the pushbutton quickly or wait 20 seconds to quit the programming.

1) keep the pushbutton on the back pressed for 8 seconds; first the LEDs
light up then they return to the minimum level set. Release the key
within 4 seconds, the LEDs shine simultaneously;
2) press the key that you want to cancel within 20 seconds: the cancelled
key will no longer activate a command until it has been reprogrammed;
3) the corresponding LED flashes 4 seconds, alternately with the others.
After this you can repeat point 2 to cancel other programmings;;
4) press the pushbutton quickly or wait 20 seconds to quit the programming.
NOTE: To cancel the programming of all the keys at the same time, keep
the pushbutton on the back pressed for 12 seconds; first the LEDs light up,
then they return to the minimum level set and then they switch ON again.
Release the key, the LEDs flash in sequence for about 4 seconds, confirming
that all the programming has been cancelled.
Use only the screwdriver (T2738A) supplied.

This mode is a variation of the self-learning mode (M=0) in which the keys never work cyclically. Thus if, for example,
the ON of an actuator or dimmer has been learnt, the pair of keys configure automatically to switch ON or increase
the intensity level for the upper key and switch OFF or decrease the intensity level for the lower key. If instead a
single function (e.g. calling a scenario) has been learnt, the other key of the pair remains without a function or keeps
the function it had previously.

This mode of operation is only used if the system has a scenario module item F420.
The user can create, cancel or modify the scenarios in the scenario module and can use the keys to call them.
The procedure can save up to 16 scenarios using two 8-key devices, or three 6-key devices.
