On a Windows computer, the new drive will be available in My Computer.
By default it will use the rst available drive letter and will be named HD-
PETU2.
With a Mac, the new drive will appear on the desktop.
Format
By default, the MiniStation is formatted with FAT32, allowing it to be used
with OS X and Windows. If you’re going to use
it with programs that generate lesizes larger than 4GB, such as backup
or video editing software, reformat the MiniStation as an NTFS drive
(Windows) or a Mac OS Extended drive (Mac).
Backing up the MiniStation’s contents before reformatting is recommended.
Backup
Formatting disks will erase all information from your MiniStation. Please
back up all data before proceeding.

Optional Utilities
The MiniStation includes several optional utilities.
TurboPC can increase data transfer speeds for your Bualo product.
TurboCopy uses caching to increase data transfer speeds.
Disk Formatter lets you easily reformat your MiniStation.
SecureLockMobile encrypts the data on your MiniStation, preventing the data from
being accessed by anyone but you.
Backup Utility is software to back up and restore data from your PC. To use, select a
source drive to be backed up and a target location for backup data.
RAMDISK Utility uses the memory in your computer as a virtual hard drive. The RAM
drive is recognised as a hard drive by your computer, and you can read and write data to
it like any other hard drive.
Bualo Tools Launcher lets you easily launch software from the Bualo utility suite.
Just click an icon to launch the desired Bualo tool or utility.
eco Manager for HD lets you put the DriveStation into Sleep mode to save power.
Picasa Google Toolbar organizes and edits digital photos. If your computer is
connected to the Internet, Picasa also lets your share digital photos online.

The following are common issues with the MiniStation. Following each issue are possible
resolutions.
I’ve lost the utilities that were stored on my MiniStation.
You may download the utilities from www.bualotech.com.
I cannot see the MiniStation in My Computer.
Try a dierent USB port. Verify that the hard drive inside the MiniStation is spinning.
This can be veried by placing your hand on the sides of the case and feeling for a slight
vibration. Also, after the MiniStation has been powered on for fteen minutes or more
it will begin to get warm. If neither of the proceeding tests veried that the hard drive is
spinning, then please contact technical support for further assistance.
My backup program can’t save les to the MiniStation.
Reformat your MiniStation with NTFS or Mac OS Extended. FAT32 is limited to 4GB
lesizes.

Formatierung
Die MiniStation ist standardmäßig mit FAT32 formatiert, sodass sie mit den
Betriebssystemen OS X undWindows verwendet werden kann.Wenn Sie die
MiniStation mit Programmen verwenden möchten, bei denen Dateien von über
4 GB Größe erstellt werden (z. B. Sicherungs- oderVideobearbeitungssoftware),
müssen Sie die MiniStation als NTFS-Laufwerk (für Windows) oder als Mac OS
Extended-Laufwerk (für Mac) formatieren.

Optionale Dienstprogramme

Versuchen Sie einen anderen USB-Anschluss.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die in der MiniStation enthaltene Festplatte rotiert. Sie können dies
feststellen, indem Sie Ihre Hand auf eine der Gehäuseseiten legen. Wenn die Festplatte
rotiert, ist eine leichte Vibration zu spüren. Außerdem erwärmt sich die MiniStation etwa

En un Mac, la nueva unidad aparecerá en el escritorio.
Formatear
De forma predeterminada, el disco duro MiniStation se formatea con FAT32,
lo que permite que se pueda utilizar con los sistemas operativos OS X y
Windows. Si va a utilizarlo con software que genere archivos de más de 4 GB
de tamaño, como el destinado a realizar copias de seguridad o editar vídeo,
vuelva a formatear el disco duro MiniStation con formato NTFS (Windows) o
formato Mac OS Extendido (Mac).
Se recomienda realizar una copia de seguridad del contenido del disco duro
MiniStation antes de volver a formatearlo.

Los siguientes son problemas comunes que se pueden presentar con la

He perdido las utilidades que estaban almacenadas en la MiniStation.
Puede descargar las utilidades de www.bualotech.com.
No veo la MiniStation en Mi PC.
Intente con un puerto USB distinto.
Compruebe que el disco duro en el interior de la MiniStation esté girando.
Para ello, ponga la mano en el lateral de la carcasa y compruebe si percibe
una ligera vibración. Además, 15 minutos después de poner en marcha la
MiniStation, esta se empezará a calentar. Si no puede vericar el giro de la
unidad de disco con ninguna de estas pruebas, póngase en contacto con el
servicio de asistencia técnica.
Mi programa de copia de seguridad no puede guardar archivos en la MiniStation.
Reformatee la MiniStation con NTFS, o Mac OS extendido. FAT32 está
limitado a tamaños de archivo de 4 GB.
La MiniStation incluye diversas utilidades opcionales.
TurboPC puede incrementar la velocidad de transferencia de datos para su
producto Bualo.
