INSTALLATION
Note: If the unit has not been stored or moved in an upright position, let it stand
upright for approximately 12 hours before operation. If in doubt allow to stand.
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove the protective film from all surfaces.
2. Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the appliance and walls or other objects for
ventilation. Do not block ventilation grills. NEVER LOCATE NEXT TO OR NEAR A HEAT SOURCE.

POWER • After power up, the machine enters standby mode.
• Press the [Power] button to enter the setting mode, and LCD will display
“60:00”.
• Press the [Power] button during setting mode, the machine will enter the
standby mode again.
START/
PAUSE • After setting the time, press this button to start the working mode. • During operation, by pressing this button, the mixing and the time
countdown will pause.
• Press this button again to continue the previous unfinished operation.
TIME
SETTING / Press to decrease working time, and press to increase working time
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before use, thoroughly wash all parts that will come into contact with the ice cream (including the
removable bowl, blender blade, transparent lid, measuring cup and scoop)
USING YOUR ICE CREAM MAKER
• Place the removable bowl, with ingredients, into the machine (Fig 1).
For fastest results ingredients should be pre-chilled.
• Rotate the bowl until it locks into position (Fig 2).
• Fix blender blade to machine insuring that the blade connects well with the motor axis (Fig 3).

• Fit the transparent lid onto the machine and lock into place.
• Press the [POWER] button. The LCD will display “60:00”.
• Use [TIME SETTING] buttons to set working time (Maximum 60 minutes).
• Press the [START/PAUSE] button. The blender blade will start to turn. After a short delay the
compressor will start and the bowl will start to chill.
• When the machine is running you can increase/decrease the operating time by pressing the
[TIME SETTING] buttons.
• You can stop the machine at any time by pressing the [START/PAUSE] button.
• You can add ingredients during operation by opening the transparent lid.
• If produce becomes frozen blade will stop turning. Switch off the machine
immediately to protect blade motor.
• To avoid overflow and waste please make sure that the ingredients do not
exceed 60% of the capacity of the removable bowl (ice cream expands when
being formed)

CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance and wait for it to completely cool down before cleaning.
2. Wipe over the outside surface of the unit with a dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
3. Wipe any excess food from the power cord.
4. Wash the removable bowl and accessories in warm soapy water and wipe dry.
STORAGE OF ICE CREAM
Transfer finished ice cream into another container using a plastic scoop or a wooden spoon and store in
freezer. Do not use a metal scoop to avoid scratching the inside of the removable bowl.

SAMPLE RECIPE
Vanilla ice cream
Ingredients:
• 4 egg yolks
• 1/2 pint (250ml) milk
• 1/2 pint (250ml) double/heavy cream
• 4 oz (90g) sugar or caster sugar
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1. Pour the cream and milk into a medium heavy-based pan, then tip in half the sugar.
2. Score the vanilla pod and place into the mixture.
3. Heat the cream and milk over a low heat, stirring occasionally, until it almost boils - you’ll see a few
bubbles at the edge. Take off the heat and set aside so the vanilla can infuse.
4. Put the egg yolks into a bowl with the rest of the sugar and beat with an electric hand beater for
about 2 minutes until the mixture has thickened, is paler in colour and falls in thick ribbons when you
lift the beaters.
5. Using a measuring jug, scoop out about 125ml/4fl oz of the cream mixture and beat into the egg
yolks to slacken them.
6. Scoop out the vanilla pod pieces,
7. Reheat the cream until it just comes to the boil, take off the heat and stir in the egg yolk mixture.
8. Pour the mixture back into the pan and heat gently, for 8-10 minutes, stirring until the custard
thickens - DO NOT BRING TO THE BOIL OR IT WILL PROBABLY CURDLE.
9. Pour the custard into a heatproof bowl, then sit it in a bigger bowl one third full of iced water to cool
(this takes about 20 minutes). Stir occasionally to stop a skin forming. Put the bowl of custard in the
fridge for 3-4 hours, preferably overnight, so it gets really cold.

ELECTRICAL WIRING
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliances is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.
DISPOSAL
EU regulations require refrigeration product to be disposed of by specialist companies who remove or
recycle all gasses, metal and plastic components.
Consult your local waste collection authority regarding disposal of your appliance. Local authorities are
not obliged to dispose of commercial refrigeration equipment but may be able to offer advice on how to
dispose of the equipment locally.

INSTALLATIE
Opmerking: indien het apparaat niet in een rechtopstaande positie is opgeslagen
of vervoerd, dient men het product 12 uur vóór gebruik in de rechtopstaande
positie te plaatsen. Bij twijfel dient men het product in een rechtopstaande positie
te plaatsen.
1. Haal het product uit de verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat u de beschermingsfolie en -lagen van alle
oppervlakken heeft verwijderd.
2. Voor een adequate ventilatie dient men een afstand van 20cm aan te houden tussen dit product of
muren en andere objecten. Blokventilatieroosters niet blokkeren. NOOIT PLAATSEN NAAST OF
DICHTBIJ EEN HITTEBRON.

VOEDING • Na het inschakelen gaat de machine in de standby-modus.
• Druk op de [VOEDING] knop om de instellingsmodus te openen, en
het LCD zal 60:00 weergeven.
• Druk tijdens de instellingsmodus op de [VOEDING] knop, de machine
gaat weer in de standby-modus.
START/PAUZE • Nadat u de tijd hebt ingesteld, drukt u op deze knop om de
werkmodus te starten.
• Tijdens de bediening, door op deze knop te drukken, pauzeert het
mengen en het aftellen van de tijd.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om de vorige onvoltooide operatie
verder te zetten.
TIJD INSTELLING /
Dtuk op om de werkingstijd te verminderen en op om hem te verhogen
VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
Voor gebruik, was alle onderdelen die met het ijs in aanraking komen (met inbegrip van de verwijderbare
kom, blenderblad, transparant deksel, meetbeker en scoop) grondig.
JE IJSMACHINE GEBRUIKEN
• Plaats de verwijderbare kom, met ingrediënten, in de machine (Afb. 1).
Voor de snelste resultaten moeten de ingediënten vooraf gekoeld worden.
• Draai de kom tot hij in de positie staat (Afb. 2)
• Fixeer het blenderblad aan de machine en zorg ervoor dat het mes goed aansluit bij de motoras (Afb. 3).

• Monteer het transparante deksel op de machine en vergrendel het
• Druk op de [VOEDING] knop. Het LCD toont “60:00”
• Gebruik de [TIJD INSTELLEN] knoppen om de werkingstijd in te stellen (max 60 min)
• Druk op de [START/PAUZE] knop. Het blenderblad zal beginnen te draaien. Na een korte vertraging
begint de compressor en de kom begint af te koelen
• Wanneer de machine draait, kunt u de werkingstijd vergroten/verlagen door op de
[TIJD INSTELLINGEN] knoppen te drukken
• U kunt de machine op elk gewenst moment stoppen door op de [START/PAUZE] knop te drukken
• U kunt ingrediënten toevoegen tijdens gebruik door het transparante deksel te openen
• Wanneer het ijs bevroren raakt, stopt het draaien van de mixer. Schakel het
apparaat onmiddellijk uit om de motor van de mixer te beschermen.
• Om het overstromen en verspilling te voorkomen, controleer dat
ingrediënten de 60% capaciteit van de verwijderbare kom niet overschrijden
(bij het maken van ijs zet ijs namelijk uit)

REINIGING, ZORG & ONDERHOUD
1. Om het apparaat te reinigen, haal de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact en wacht totdat
het apparaat volledig is afgekoeld.
2. Maak de buitenkant van het apparaat schoon met een vochtige doek en neem het apparaat af met
een zachte droge doek.
3. Verwijder eventueel voedsel van de stroomkabel.
4. Was de verwijderbare kom en accessoires in warm zeepwater. Daarna drogen.
OPSLAG VAN ROOMIJS
Breng afgewerkt ijs over in een andere container met een plastic schepje of een houten lepel en bewaar
het in de vriezer. Gebruik geen metalen schep om te voorkomen dat de binnenkant van de verwijderbare
kom gekrast wordt.

VOORBEELD RECEPT
VANILLE-IJS
Ingrediënten:
• 4 eidooiers
• 250 ml melk
• 250 ml dubbele/zware room
• 90g suiker of caster suiker
• 1 theelepel vanille-essentie
1. Giet de room en melk in een middelgrote zware pan en doe er vervolgens de helft van de suiker bij
2. Score de vanillepoot en plaats in het mengsel
3. Verhit de room en melk op een laag vuur, af en toe roeren tot het bijna kookt - je ziet een paar bellen
aan de rand. Haal van het vuur en zet aan de kant zodat de vanille kan inwerken
4. Doe de eidooiers in een kom met de rest van de suiker en klop het ongeveer 2 minuten met een
elektrische handklopper tot het mengsel verdikt, bleker is en in dikke lintjes valt als je de kloppers
opheft
5. Gebruik een meetkruik, schep ongeveer 125 ml/4fl oz van het roommengsel uit en meng met de
eidooiers om ze te slacken
6. Schep de vanillepootstukken uit
7. Verhit de room tot hij net kookt, neem van het vuur af en roer het in het eierdooiermengsel
8. Giet het mengsel terug in de pan en verhit zachtjes, 8-10 minuten roeren tot de vla verdikt - BRENG
NIET AAN DE KOOK OF HET ZAL WAARSCHIJNLIJK STREMMEN
9. Giet de vla in een hittebestendige kom en zet deze dan in een grotere kom, een derde vol ijswater
om af te koelen (dit duurt ongeveer 20 minuten). Roer af en toe om een huidvorming te stoppen. Zet
de kom met vla in de koelkast gedurende 3-4 uur, bij voorkeur overnacht, zodat het erg koud wordt

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard.
Bij twijfels raadpleeg een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling
moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.
Afvalverwerking
De EU-richtlijnen vereisen dat koelproducten door gespecialiseerde bedrijven wordt verwerkt die gassen,
metalen en plastic componenten verwijderen of recyclen.
Raadpleeg uw plaatselijke afvalverwerkingsbedrijf voor informatie over de afvalverwerking van uw
apparaat. De plaatselijke overheden zijn niet verplicht om koelingsproducten van bedrijven als afval te
verwerken maar kunnen uw informeren waar u het apparaat kunt afgeven.
U kunt ook de BUFFALO helplijn bellen voor informatie over landelijke afvalverwerkingsbedrijven in de EU.

Het WEEE-logo op dit product of bijbehorende documentatie geeft aan dat het product
niet onder huisvuil valt en als zodanig ook niet mag worden verwerkt. Ter preventie

INSTALLATION
Remarque : dans les cas où l'appareil a été stocké ou déplacé autrement qu'à la
verticale, placez-le en position debout pendant environ 12 heures avant de vous
en servir. En cas de doute, laissez l'appareil se reposer.
1. Sortez l’appareil de l’emballage. Veillez à bien retirer toute la pellicule et les revêtements de protection
de toutes les surfaces.
2. Veillez à prévoir une distance de 20 cm entre l’appareil est les murs ou autres objets, pour laisser l’air
circuler. Ne bloquez pas les grils de ventilation. ÉVITEZ DE PLACER CET APPAREIL À PROXIMITÉ
D’UNE SOURCE DE CHALEUR.

TION • Après l’alimentation, la machine entre dans le mode de veille. • Appuyer sur le bouton [ALIMENTATION] piur entrer dans le mode de
réglage, et lCD affichera « 60 :00 ».
• Appuyer sur le bouton [ALIMENTATION] pendant le mode de réglage, la
machine entrera à nouveau dans le mode de veille.
MARCHE/
PAUSE • Après le réglage du temps, appuyer sur ce bouton pour démarrer le mode de fonctionnement.
• Pendant l’opération, en appuyant sur ce bouton, le mélange et le temps
de décompte s’arrêtera.
• Appuyer sur ce bouton à nouveau pour continuer l’opération précédente
non achevée.
REGLAGE
DU TEMPS / Appuyer sur pour réduire le temps de marche et sur pour augmenter le
temps de marche.
AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Avant l’utilisation, laver correctement toutes les parties qui entreront en contact avec la glace (y compris
le bol amovible, la lame de mélance, le couvercle transparent ainsi que la cuillère et le gobelet de mesure.
UTILISATION DE VOTRE FABRICANT DE GLACE
• Placer le bol amovible, avec les ingrédients dans la machine pour des résulats rapides (Fig 1).
Les ingrédients doivent être pré réfrigérés.
• Tourner le bol jusqu’à ce qu’in s’insère en position (Fig 2).
• Fixer la lame de mélange sur la machine tout en s’assurant que la lame se connecte correctement
avec l’axe du moteur (Fig 3).

• Fixer le couvercle transparent sur la machine et le verrouiller en place.
• Appuyer sur le bouton [ALIMENTATION]. LCD affichera « 60 :00 ».
• Utiliser les boutons [REGLAGE DU TEMPS] pour régler la température de marche (max. 60 minutes).
• Appuyer sur le bouton [DEMARRER/PAUSE]. La lame de mélange va commencer à tourner. Après un
court délai, le compresseur démarrera et le bol commencera à glacer.
• Lorsque la machine fonctionne, vous pouvez augmenter/réduire le temps d’opération en appuyant sur
les boutons [REGLAGE DU TEMPS].
• Vous pouvez arrêter la machine à tout moment en appuyant sur le bouton [DEMARRER/PAUSE].
• Vous pouvez augmenter les ingrédients pendant l’opération en ouvrant le couvercle transparent.
• Lorsque le produit est glacé, la lame s’arrête de tourner. Éteindre
immédiatement l’appareil afin de protéger le moteur de la lame.
• Pour éviter tout débordement et perte, veiller à ce que les ingrédients
n’excèdent pas 60 % de la capacité totale du bol amovible (la glace occupe
un volume plus important).

Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
1. Débrancher l’appareil et attendre qu’il soit complètement refroidi avant de le nettoyer.
2. Nettoyer la surface extérieure de l’appareil avec un chiffon humide et essuyer avec un chiffon doux et
sec.
3. Essuyer tout résidu alimentaire du cordon d’alimentation.
4. Laver le bol amovible et les accessoires à l’eau chaude savonneuse et les essuyer.
Stockage De La Glace
Transférer la glace terminée dans un autre récipient à l’aide d’une cuillère en plastique ou en bois et
stocker dans un congélateur. Evitez d’utiliser une cuillère en métal car cela pourrait égratigner l’intérieur
du bol amovible.
