Safety Tips
• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any
components on this product.
• Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:

• Ensure the water level is between the ‘MIN’ and ‘MAX’ marks.
• Always switch off the appliance before removing from the base.
• Do not allow the base to become wet.
• Over filling the kettle may result in boiling water being ejected
• Avoid steam from the spout or when opening the lid.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in
order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of this machine will
provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are supplied fully
functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your BUFFALO dealer immediately.
Operation
1. Connect the base to a mains power supply.
2. Remove the appliance from the base.
3. Lift the lid and fill with cold water. Do not exceed the ‘MAX’ level.
4. Close the lid securely.
5. Place the appliance on the base.
6. Push the power switch down to the ‘I’ position. The power indicator light turns On and the water will begin to boil.
7. When the water has boiled the switch will flick back up to the ‘0’ position. The power indicator light will turn Off.
Note: Before using the appliance for the first time fill and boil it twice. Discard the water each time.
Note: The boiling process can be interrupted at any time by manually flicking up the switch.
WARNING: There is a danger of scalding from steam. Take care during operation and when opening
the lid.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• The spout filter slides out for ease of cleaning.
• Periodically clean the inside of the appliance using a suitable descaling solution.

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being
required they must be readily accessible.

The WEEE logo on this product or its documentation indicates that the product must not be
disposed of as household waste. To help prevent possible harm to human health and/or the
environment, the product must be disposed of in an approved and environmentally safe recycling

Veiligheidstips
• Plaatsen op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.
• De installatie en eventuele reparaties zijn door een servicetechnicus/vaktechnicus uit te voeren. Verwijder geen
componenten of servicepanelen van dit product.
• Raadpleeg en volg de plaatselijke en nationale regelgeving op m.b.t. tot het volgende:

• Schakel altijd het apparaat uit alvorens de basis te verwijderen.

Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig door. Een correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze machine waarborgt

BUFFALO is trots op de haar productkwaliteit en dienstverlening en controleer de inhoud van de verpakkingen, tijdens de
verpakkingsfase, op functionaliteit en schade.
Mocht u product door transport zijn beschadigd, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO dealer.
Bediening
1. Sluit de basis aan op de stroomvoorziening.
2. Haal het apparaat van de basis.
3. Open de deksel en vullen met koud water. De 'MAX'-markering niet overschrijden.
4. Maak de deksel goed dicht.
5. Plaats het apparaat op de basis.
6. Zet de stroomschakelaar omlaag in de 'I'-positie. Het stroomlampje gaat aan en het water begint te koken.
7. Nadat het water de kooktemperatuur heeft bereikt, springt de schakelaar terug in de '0'-positie. Het stroomlampje
gaat uit.
Opmerking: alvorens het apparaat voor de eerste keer te gebruiken, dient u het apparaat twee keer
te vullen en te laten koken. Gooi het water van beide kookprocessen weg.
Opmerking: het kookproces kan op elk moment handmatig met de schakelaar worden onderbroken.
WAARSCHUWING: er is gevaar voor verbranding door de hete stoom. Wees voorzichtig tijdens het
gebruik en bij het openen van de deksel.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd de stroomvoorziening uit te schakelen.
• Gebruik zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.
• Om de reiniging makkelijker te maken is de tuitfilter uitschuifbaar.
• Reinig regelmatig de binnenkant van het apparaat met behulp van een geschikt ontkalkingsmiddel.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard met behulp van een adequaat aardingscircuit.
Bij twijfels raadpleeg een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling moeten de
isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

Het WEEE-logo op dit product of bijbehorende documentatie geeft aan dat het product niet onder
huisvuil valt en als zodanig ook niet mag worden verwerkt. Ter preventie van mogelijke gevaren
voor de gezondheid van personen en/of voor het milieu, dient men dit product in
overeenstemming met het voorgeschreven en milieuveilige recyclingproces als afval te verwerken.
Raadpleeg uw productleverancier of uw plaatselijk afvalverwerkingsbedrijf voor meer informatie

Conseils de sécurité
• Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane, stable.
• L'installation et les éventuelles réparations doivent être confiées à un dépanneur / technicien qualifié. Ne retirez
aucun composant ou cache de ce produit.
• Consultez les normes locales et nationales pour vous conformer aux :
• lois sur l'hygiène et la sécurité au travail ;
• codes de bonnes pratiques BS EN ;
• précautions contre le risque d'incendie ;
• réglementations sur les branchements électriques IEE ;
• règlements sur la construction.
• Veillez à ce que le niveau d'eau se situe entre les repères " MIN " et " MAX ".
• N'oubliez jamais d'éteindre l'appareil avant de le retirer de son socle.
• Ne mouillez pas le socle.
• Attention aux rejets de vapeur du bec verseur ou en ouvrant le couvercle.
• Veillez à toujours éteindre l'appareil et à le débrancher de la prise d'alimentation secteur hors service.
• Gardez les emballages hors de portée des enfants. Débarrassez-vous des emballages conformément aux règlements
des autorités locales.
• Un cordon d'alimentation endommagé doit être remplacé par un agent BUFFALO ou un technicien qualifié
recommandé, pour éviter tout danger.
• Cet appareil n'a pas été conçu pour être utilisé par des personnes (enfants inclus) à capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales réduites ou ne disposant pas d'une expérience ou de connaissances suffisantes, à moins que lesdites
personnes n'aient été formées ou instruites quant à son utilisation, par une personne responsable de leur sécurité
• Le fait de trop remplir la bouilloire peut entrainer des projections d’eau bouillante

Utilisation
1. Branchez le socle de l'appareil à une prise d'alimentation secteur.
2. Retirez l'appareil de son socle.
3. Soulevez le couvercle et remplissez-le d'eau froide. Ne dépassez pas le repère " MAX ".
4. Refermez bien le couvercle.
5. Posez l'appareil sur son socle.
6. Appuyez sur l'interrupteur de mise sous tension pour le mettre dans la position 'I'. Le témoin d'alimentation s'allume
et l'eau commence à chauffer.Une fois l'eau bouillie, l'interrupteur se remet automatiquement en position '0'. Le
témoin de mise sous tension s'éteint.].
Remarque : Avant la première mise en service de l'appareil, remplissez-le et faites le bouillir deux
fois. Jetez l'eau à chaque fois.
Remarque : Vous pouvez interrompre le processus d'ébullition à n'importe quel moment, en faisant
remonter manuellement l'interrupteur.
AVERTISSEMENT : La vapeur présente un risque d'échaudage. Prenez les précautions qui s'imposent
pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil et en ouvrant le couvercle.

Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
• Veillez à toujours éteindre et débrancher l'appareil de la prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.
• Nettoyez l'extérieur de l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon humide imbibé d'eau savonneuse.
• Séchez minutieusement l'appareil après l'avoir nettoyé.
• Le filtre du bec verseur se retire pour pouvoir être nettoyé plus facilement.
• Nettoyez régulièrement l'intérieur de l'appareil à l'aide d'une solution de détartrage adaptée.

Betrieb
1. Den Ständer an den Netzstrom anschließen.
2. Gerät vom Ständer nehmen.
3. Deckel anheben und den Kocher mit kaltem Wasser füllen. Den Wasserkocher nicht über die MAX-Marke hinaus
füllen.
4. Den Deckel sicher verschließen.
5. Das Gerät auf den Ständer stellen und einschalten I . Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf und das Wasser erhitzt sich.
6. Sobald das Wasser kocht, schaltet sich der Schalter automatisch aus 0 . Die Stromanzeige erlischt.
Hinweis: Vor dem ersten Gebrauch das Gerät füllen und das Wasser zweimal kochen. Nach jedem
Kochen das Wasser ausgießen und neues einfüllen.
VORSICHT: Dampf kann Verbrühungen verursachen. Vorsicht während des Betriebs und beim Öffnen
des Deckels.

Reinigung, Pflege und Wartung
• Vor der Reinigung stets zunächst das Gerät abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
• Die Warmhalteplatte außen mit Seifenlauge und einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.
• Nach dem Reinigen gründlich abtrocknen.
• Zum Reinigen lässt sich der Ausgussfilter herausziehen.
• Das Gerät regelmäßig innen mit einem geeigneten Entkalkungsmittel reinigen.
Störungssuche
Sollte Ihr Saftdispenser defekt sein, prüfen Sie bitte zunächst folgende Punkte, bevor Sie sich an die Helpline wenden.

Der Stecker muss in eine geeignete Steckdose gesteckt werden.
Das Gerät ist wie folgt verdrahtet:

Funzionamento
1. Collegare la base all'alimentazione di rete.
2. Rimuovere l'apparecchio dalla base.
3. Sollevare il coperchio e riempire con acqua fredda. Non superare il livello 'MAX'.
4. Chiudere saldamente il coperchio.
5. Posizionare l'apparecchio sulla base.
6. Premere l'interruttore sulla posizione 'I'. La spia di alimentazione si accende e l'acqua inizia a bollire.
7. Quando l'acqua bolle, l'interruttore ritorna sulla posizione '0'. La spia di alimentazione si spegne.
Nota: prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio per la prima volta, riempire e fare bollire due volte. Eliminare
l'acqua dopo ogni singola bollitura.
Nota: il processo di bollitura può essere interrotto in qualsiasi momento azionando manualmente
l'interruttore.
ATTENZIONE: pericolo di scottature causate dal vapore. Fare attenzione quando l'apparecchio è in
funzione e quando viene aperto il coperchio.

Pulizia e manutenzione
• Prima di eseguire la pulizia, spegnere e scollegare l'apparecchio dall'alimentazione.
• Utilizzare acqua saponata e un panno umido per pulire la superficie esterna dell'apparecchio.
• Asciugare completamente dopo la pulizia.
• Il filtro erogatore è estraibile per una facile pulizia.
• Pulire periodicamente l'interno dell'apparecchio utilizzando una soluzione anticalcare appropriata.

Funcionamiento
1. Conecte la base al suministro eléctrico principal.
2. Retire el aparato de la base.
3. Levante la tapa y llene el aparato con agua fría. No supere el nivel 'MAX'.
4. Cierre bien la tapa.
5. Coloque el aparato sobre la base.
6. Pulse el interruptor de encendido en la posición 'I'. La luz indicadora de alimentación se encenderá y el agua
empezará a calentarse.
7. Cuando el agua se haya calentado, el interruptor pasará automáticamente a la posición '0'. Se apagará la luz
indicadora de alimentación [Off].
Nota: antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, llénelo y caliente el agua dos veces. Deseche el
agua cada vez.
Nota: el proceso de calentamiento puede interrumpirse en cualquier momento liberando
manualmente el interruptor.
ADVERTENCIA: el vapor producido puede provocar quemaduras. Tenga cuidado durante el

Limpieza, Cuidado y Mantenimiento
• Desconecte el aparato y desenchúfelo del suministro eléctrico siempre antes de llevar a cabo la limpieza.
• Utilice agua con jabón y un paño húmedo para limpiar el exterior del aparato.
• Séquelos bien después de limpiarlos.
• El filtro del grifo se desmonta para facilitar la limpieza.
• Limpie periódicamente el interior del aparato con una solución descalcificadora adecuada.

A BUFFALO orgulha-se pelo serviço e a qualidade dos seus produtos e portanto verifica, durante a fase de embalagem, o
estado funcional e o bom estado do conteúdo fornecido.
Quando confrontado com quaisquer danos provocados durante o transporte, contacte imediatamente o seu fornecedor
BUFFALO.
Funcionamento
1. Ligue a base do aparelho à tomada de electricidade.
2. Retire o aparelho da base.
3. Levante a tampa e encha o aparelho com água fria. Não exceda o nível indicado como "MAX".
4. Feche a tampa firmemente.
5. Coloque o aparelho na base.
6. Pressione o interruptor eléctrico até à posição [I]. O indicador de corrente acende-se (On) e a água começa a ferver.
7. Quando a água tiver fervido, o interruptor eléctrico desliga-se e volta para a posição [0]. O indicador de corrente
desliga-se e fica na posição (Off).
Nota: antes de utilizar o aparelho pela primeira vez, encha-o e deixe-o ferver duas vezes. Despeje a
água das duas vezes.
Nota: o processo de fervura pode ser interrompido manualmente a qualquer momento, levantando
o interruptor eléctrico.
AVISO: existe o perigo de se queimar devido ao vapor. Tenha cuidado enquanto utilizar o aparelho e
quando abrir a tampa.

Limpeza, cuidados & manutenção
• Desconecte el aparato y desenchúfelo del suministro eléctrico siempre antes de llevar a cabo la limpieza.
• Utilice agua con jabón y un paño húmedo para limpiar el exterior del aparato.

• O filtro no bocal desliza para fora para simplificar a sua limpeza.

Cablagem eléctrica
Deve-se utilizar tomadas adequadas para ligar a ficha do aparelho.
O esquema de electricidade deste aparelho é o seguinte:

• Cabo terra (verde/amarelo) para o terminal marcado com E
