CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
SUPPLÉMENTAIRES POUR LES POSTES
DE SOUDURE
Les postes de soudure ne doivent pas être
utilisés par des enfants ou des personnes
dépourvues de formation.
N’oubliez pas de porter un masque de
protection des yeux.
Portez des vêtements secs et non
graissés pour protéger votre corps.
Portez des gants adaptés à la tâche à
exécuter.
Raccordez l’appareil
uniquement à un groupe
électrique protégé par un
disjoncteur différentiel
(30 mA).
Vérifiez l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Si
l‘appareil est endommagé, ne l’utilisez pas.
Si l’appareil est endommagé, faites-le
réparer par un technicien autorisé.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le câble
d’alimentation est endommagé ou usé.
Avant d’utiliser la rallonge électrique,
examinez-la pour détecter une possible
usure ou un endommagement. En cas
d’endommagement, débranchez
immédiatement le câble de la prise
murale. Ne touchez pas la rallonge tant
que le câble secteur n’a pas été débranché
de la prise murale.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil en présence
d’enfants et/ou d’animaux.
Utilisez l’appareil uniquement dans des
endroits bien secs et aérés. Ne disposez
pas l’appareil près d’un mur.
Aérez la zone de travail afin d’éviter
l’accumulation de vapeurs inflammables.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil près de matériaux
inflammables.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des endroits
exposés à un risque d’incendie ou
d’explosion.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des endroits
venant d’être nettoyés avec des
substances chlorées.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil sur des surfaces
ou des matériaux vernis.
Évitez toute exposition de la peau aux
rayons ultraviolets générés par l’arc.
Évitez de toucher les parties exposées du
circuit de soudure.
Veillez à ce que le câble d’alimentation
électrique ne touche pas le câble de
soudure.
Avant de poser l’appareil, éteignez-le et
attendez que le câble de soudure soit
complètement refroidi.
Gardez présent à l’esprit que
juste après l’arrêt de l’appareil,
une courte période est
nécessaire pour qu’il
refroidisse.

Débranchez l’appareil de la prise murale
quand vous terminez le travail, avant de
faire l’entretien et quand vous ne l’utilisez pas.
Après utilisation, rangez l’appareil à un
endroit sûr, hors d’atteinte des enfants.

Mise en place du masque
Installez la poignée (7) sur le masque (8),
comme indiqué.
Pressez fermement sur la poignée.
N’oubliez pas de porter un
masque de protection des
yeux.
Mise en place d’une électrode
Pressez sur la poignée du câble de soudure
et, sans la relâcher, placez l’électrode dans la
cosse .
Relâchez la poignée.
Instructions d’emploi
Disposez une électrode dans la cosse du
câble de soudure.
Reliez la cosse du câble de masse
directement à la pièce à ouvrer ou à l’établi.
Maintenez le masque devant vos yeux.
Regardez à travers la fenêtre du masque
pendant la soudure.
N’oubliez pas de porter un
masque de protection des
yeux.
Portez toujours des gants
adaptés
pour protéger vos mains.
Finition de la surface de soudure
Nettoyez la surface de soudure à l’aide de
la brosse .
Retirez les bavures de soudure à l’aide
d’un marteau à bavure.
Portez des lunettes de
sécurité pour protéger vos
yeux.
Mise en marche et arrêt
Pour arrêter l’appareil, mettez
l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (1) sur ‘I’ (BPS130) /
« ON » = BPS180R
Pour éteindre l’appareil, mettez
l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (1) sur ‘0’ (BPS130)
/ « OFF » = BPS180R
L’appareil est équipé d’un
dispositif de protection
thermique. En cas de
surcharge,
le transformateur se coupe.
Après refroidissement du
transformateur, l’appareil se
remet automatiquement en
marche.
Réglage du courant de soudure
Le courant de soudure dépend du diamètre
de l’électrode.
Utilisez le bouton de réglage (2) pour
déterminer le courant de soudure.
Consultez le tableau suivant pour le
réglage correct.

Volg bij gebruik van het apparaat altijd de
veiligheidsvoorschriften nauwkeurig op.
In deze handleiding worden de volgende

AANVULLENDE
VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
VOOR LASAPPARATEN
Lasapparaten mogen niet gebruikt worden
door kinderen of ongetrainde personen.
Draag altijd een geschikt masker om uw
ogen te beschermen.
Draag droge, vetvrije kleding om uw lichaam te
beschermen.
Draag voor de toepassing geschikte
handschoenen.
Sluit het apparaat uitsluitend
aan op een elektrische groep
die is beveiligd met een
aardlekschakelaar (30 mA).
Inspecteer het apparaat voor gebruik. In geval
van beschadiging mag het apparaat niet worden
gebruikt.
Indien het apparaat is beschadigd, laat u de
beschadiging repareren door een erkend
reparateur.
Gebruik het apparaat niet als het netsnoer
is beschadigd of versleten.
Controleer voor gebruik het verlengsnoer
op mogelijke slijtage en beschadiging.
Verwijder in geval van beschadiging direct
de netstekker uit het stopcontact. Raak het snoer
niet aan voordat de netstekker uit het
stopcontact is verwijderd.
Gebruik het apparaat niet terwijl kinderen
en/of dieren in de buurt zijn.
Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend in een
droge, goed geventileerde omgeving.
Plaats het apparaat niet dicht tegen een
muur aan.
Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie op de
werkvloer om de lucht vrij te houden van
opeenhoping van brandbare dampen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van
ontvlambare stoffen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet op plaatsen
waar brand- en/of explosiegevaar is.
Gebruik het apparaat niet op plaatsen die
zijn gereinigd met chloorhoudende middelen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet op geverniste
materialen en oppervlakken.
Vermijd blootstelling van uw huid aan de
ultraviolette stralen die worden veroorzaakt door
de lichtboog.
Voorkom aanraking van de blootliggende
delen van het lascircuit.
Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet in aanraking
komt met de laskabel.
Schakel het apparaat uit en wacht tot de
laskabel volledig is afgekoeld voordat u het
apparaat wegzet.
Wees erop bedacht dat het
apparaat na het uitschakelen
nog korte tijd nodig heeft om
af te koelen.

Verwijder de netstekker uit het stopcontact
zodra de werkzaamheden zijn afgelopen,
voordat u onderhoudswerkzaamheden verricht,
of wanneer het apparaat niet in gebruik is.
Berg het apparaat na gebruik altijd veilig
op, buiten bereik van kinderen.

Uw lasapparaat is ontworpen voor het
lassen van metaal.

Monteren van het masker
Bevestig de handgreep (7) aan het masker
(8) zoals afgebeeld.
Druk de handgreep stevig aan.
Draag altijd het masker om uw
ogen te beschermen.
Aanbrengen van een elektrode
Druk de hendel van de laskabel in, houd hem
ingedrukt en plaats de elektrode in de klem .
Laat de hendel los.
Aanwijzingen voor gebruik
Breng een elektrode aan in de klem van de
laskabel.
Breng de klem van de aardkabel direct aan
op het werkstuk of de werkbank.
Houd het masker voor uw gezicht.
Kijk tijdens gebruik door het venster in het
masker.
Draag altijd het masker om uw
ogen te beschermen.
Draag altijd geschikte
handschoenen om uw handen
te
beschermen.
Afwerken van het lasgebied
Reinig het lasgebied met behulp van de
borstel.
Verwijder lasslakken met behulp van de
slakhamer.
Draag een veiligheidsbril om uw ogen te
beschermen.
In- en uitschakelen
Om het apparaat in te schakelen, zet u de
aan/uit-schakelaar (1) op ‘I’ (BPS130) / “ON”
(BPS180R)
Om het apparaat uit te schakelen, zet u de
aan/uit-schakelaar (1) op ‘0’ (BPS130) / “OFF”
(BPS180R)
Het apparaat is voorzien van
een thermische beveiliging. In
geval van overbelasting wordt
de transformator
uitgeschakeld. Na afkoeling
van de transformator schakelt
het apparaat zichzelf weer in.
Instellen van de lasstroom
De lasstroom is afhankelijk van de diameter
van de elektrode.
Stel de lasstroom in met behulp van de
instelknop .
Raadpleeg de onderstaande tabellen voor
de juiste instelling.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR WELDERS
Welders must not be used by children or
untrained persons.
Always wear a suitable mask to protect
your eyes.
Wear dry, grease-free clothing to protect
your body.
Wear gloves that are suitable for the
application.
Only connect the appliance to
an electric group which is
protected with an earth
leakage switch (30 mA).
Check the appliance before use.
Should the appliance be damaged, it must not be
used.
If the appliance is damaged, have the damage
repaired by an authorized repair agent.
Do not use the appliance if the mains
cable is damaged or worn.
Before use check the extension cord for
possible wear and damage. In case of damage,
immediately remove the mains cable from the
wall socket.
Do not touch the cable before the mains
cable has been removed from the wall socket.
Do not use the appliance in the presence
of children and/or animals.
Only use the appliance in dry, well-ventilated
surroundings. Do not place the appliance close
to a wall.
Provide for a sufficient ventilation to keep
the air in the work area free from accumulation of
flammable vapours.
Do not use the appliance near inflammable
materials.
Do not use the appliance where risk of fire
and/or explosion may arise.
Do not use the appliance on places that
have been cleaned with chlorinated materials.
Do not use the appliance on varnished
materials and surfaces.
Avoid exposure of your skin to the
ultraviolet rays caused by the arc.
Avoid touching the exposed parts of the
welding circuit.
Make sure that the mains cable does not
touch the welding cable.
Before putting the appliance down, switch
off the appliance and wait for the welding
cable to cool down completely.
Beware that after switching off
the appliance needs a short
period to cool down.
Remove the plug from the wall socket when

finishing the activities, before servicing, or when
the appliance is not used.
After use, always store the appliance safely,
outside the reach of children.

Fitting the mask
Fit the handle (7) to the mask (8) as shown.
Firmly press the handle.
Always wear the mask to
protect your eyes.
Fitting an electrode
Press the handle of the welding cable, keep it
depressed and place the electrode into the
clamp .
Release the handle.
Instructions for use
Fit an electrode into the clamp of the welding
cable.
Connect the clamp of the earth cable directly
to the workpiece or to the workbench.
Hold the mask before your face. Look
through the window in the mask during use.
Always wear the mask to
protect your eyes.
Always wear suitable gloves to
protect your hands.
Finishing the welding area
Clean the welding area using the brush .
Remove welding slags using the slag hammer .
Wear safety glasses to protect
your eyes.
Switching on and off
To switch the appliance on, set the on/off
switch (1) to ‘I’ (BPS130) / “ON” (BPS180R)
To switch the appliance off, set the on/off
switch (1) to ‘0’(BPS130) / “OFF” (BPS180R)
The appliance has been fitted
with a thermal protection. In
case of overload the
transformer is switched off.
After the transformer has
cooled down the appliance
automatically switches on
again.
Setting the welding current
The welding current depends on the diameter of
the electrode.
Use the adjustment knob to set the welding
current.
Consult the following table for the correct
setting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
