Please Note: The USB Antenna Startup Guide &
Installation are not needed to setup the Hotspot.
Open your Internet Browser screen and enter “192.168.2.1”
into the Address Bar. Press “Enter” on your keyboard.

NOTE:
Although the WiFi Hotspot Repeater can be setup
from a Tablet or Smartphone, it is much easier to
use a computer and the supplied Ethernet cable to
Connect to the WiFi
Network named “ALFA_AP” from your WiFi
Network list.
-OR-
Cable: Connect the Ethernet cable between
your computer and the WiFi Hotspot Repeater.
Use the Ethernet port that is closest to your
power connection.

Now you will choose an easy name to call your new WiFi
Network. (Example: “BobsNetwork”). Enter it into the
“SSID Choice” Do not use the same name as the network
you are repeating.
If you cannot access the Setup Screen then you may need to
perform a factory reset. To do this, press the red button on the
bottom for at least 5 seconds while it is powered ON. You may
need to use a toothpick or paperclip to reach it. Allow 30 seconds
for the hotspot to reset and startup before attempting setup again.

Click on “Site Survey”.

Scroll towards the bottom of the page. 1. Click the dot
next to the WiFi Network that you want to repeat, then
2. Click “Select”. Note: For best performance, “signal”

1. If your selected Network requires a password, then enter
it into the space marked “Pass Phrase” *. Do not change
any other settings. 2. Click on the “Next” button.

* If the security mode is WEP, then enter password into
“WEP Key 1”.

Connect to it from the WiFi Network list on your device.
Look for the name that you entered in step

and enter the Password that you entered in step K
1. Choose “WPA-PSK_WPA2-PSK” from the “Security Mode”
dropdown. 2. Choose “Auto (TKIP/AES)” 3. Now create a
wireless password and enter it into the “Pass Phrase”
You must choose a password that contains between 8 and 64
characters. 4. Click on the “Done”
