bottom
of
the
kettle,

suggest
one
cup
minimum.
Ensure
that
the
kettle
is
used
on
a
firm,
flat
surface.
Unplug
the
kettle
before
filling
or
pouring.
Make
sure
the
kettle
is
switched
off
before
lifting
or
pouring.
Avoid
contact
with
steam
from
the
spout

water
is
boiling
or
just
after
it
has
switched
off.
Take
care
if
opening
the
lid

refilling
when

is
hot.
Do
not
fill
above
the
MAX
marked
on
the
inside
of
the
kettle

operating
the
kettle,
ensure
that
the
lid

is
fully
closed
and
the
filter

fitted
correctly,
otherwise
the
kettle
may
not
switch
off
automatically.

To

above
the
MAX
water
level
as
marked
on
the
water
level
window

BEFORE
USE
Before
the
kettle
is
used
for
the
first
time,
rinse
and
dry
the
kettle.
To
remove
any
smell
during
manufacturing,
boil
a
full
kettle
of
water
by
following
the
instructions
in
HOW
TO
USE
YOUR
KETTLE.
Dispose
of
the
hot
water.

Open
the
lid

by
pressing
the
lid
button
(10).

kettle
with
water
through
the
opening
to
the
MAX
water
level.

connect
to
the

the

switch

Always
wait
for
the
kettle
to
cool
for
a
few
minutes
before
reboiling,
the
automatic
shut
off
device
will
not
function
when
it
is
hot.

PROTECTION
If
you
switch
ON
with
too
little
water,
the
safety
cut-out
device
will
switch
off
the
power
automatically.
Let
it
cool
down
before
re-filling.
When
it

cooled
down,
the
switch

reset
itself.
NOTE:
Drops
of
water
may
occur
under
your
kettle
because
of
condensation,
this
is
normal
and
will
not
cause
any
hazards.

This
kettle

an
element
concealed
in
the
kettle
base.
It
is
important
the
kettle
is
descaled
as
appropriate
-
this
will
vary
on
usage
and
hardness
of
water
in
your
area.
NOTE:
SCALE
COULD
CAUSE
THE
KETTLE
TO
MALFUNCTION
AND
MAY
DAMAGE
THE
ELEMENT
INVALIDATING
THE
WARRANTY.
IT IS
ESSENTIAL
THAT
REGULAR
DESCALING
TAKES
PLACE
AS
FOLLOWS:
1.
Fill
the
kettle
°/,
of
the
MAX
mark,
then
switch
ON
and
allow
to
boil.
2.
Unplug
and
leave
the
kettle
to
stand.
3.
Add
descaling
solution
into
the
kettle
and
leave
for
one
overnight.
DO
NOT
USE
A
MORE
CONCENTRATED
SOLUTION
THEN
IT
IS
RECOMMENDED.
Dispose
of
the
water
and
rinse
thoroughly.
Fill
the
kettle
with
clean
water,
and
boil
again.
Dispose
of
the
water
again.
The
kettle
is
now
ready
to
use.

Wipe
the
outside
of
the
kettle
thoroughly
with
а
damp
cloth
to
remove
alltraces
of
acid
which
may
damage
the
finish.
NOTE:
Ensure
that
the
electrical
connections
are
completely
dry
before
using
