7. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
7.1 LOAD REPLACEMENT
• ItshouldbeassumedthatevenwhenOFF,mainsvoltagewillstillbepresentatthelamptting.Mains
powershouldbedisconnectedatthecircuitbreakerbeforereplacingfaultylamps.
7.2 HNS050MD INSTALLATION
• TheHNS050MDistobeinstalledaspartofaxedwireelectricalinstallation.Bylawsuchinstallations
mustbemadebyanelectricalcontractororsimilarlyqualiedperson.Avoidexcessiveforceduring
installation.
7.3 LOW READING DURING INSULATION BREAKDOWN TEST
• TheHNS050MDisasolidstatedevice.Thereforealowreadingmaybeobservedwhenconducting
Insulationbreakdowntestingonthecircuit.
7.4 CLEANING
• Cleanonlywithadampcloth.Donotuseabrasivesorchemicals.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING
8.1 LIGHTS DO NOT TURN ON
• Ensurethatthecircuithaspowerbycheckingthecircuitbreaker.
• Ensurethelamp(s)isnotdamagedorbroken.
• Theroommaybetoobright-theHNS050MDwillnotactivateiftheroomislight.CheckifHNS050MD
indicatorLEDlightswitchesonwhenmotionisdetected.
• EnsuretheHNS050MDiscorrectlyconnectedtothetheCabacS-ClickTimerSwitch.
• TheHNS050MDmayhavebeendamagedandneedstobereplaced.
8.2 TIMER HAS POWER BUT MOTION DETECTOR DOESN’T WORK
• Theroommaybetoobright-theHNS050MDwillnotactivateiftheroomislight.
• TheHNS050MDmightnotbeconnectedtothetimerswitchcorrectly.
• TheHNS050MDisobstructedorbeinginterferedwithbydirt,furnitureoranobject.
• Ashadowmaybecastoversensorbypersonorobject.
8.3 LIGHTS TURN ON, THEN OFF
• TheHNS050MDisretriggering.Checkthattheroomlightisnotobstructedfromtheviewofthe
HNS050MD.
• Thelightintheroommaynotbebrightenough,whichmayhappenifaperson’sshadowcastacrossthe
sensorandtheroomlightisnotbrightenough.
9. WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER
CABACwarranttheproductagainstmanufacturingandmaterialdefectfromthedateofinvoicetotheinitial
purchaserforaperiodof12months.DuringthewarrantyperiodCABACwillreplaceproductsthatprove
tobedefectivewheretheproducthasbeencorrectlyinstalledandmaintainedandoperatedwithinthe
specicationsdenedintheproductdatasheetandwheretheproductisnotsubjecttomechanicaldamage
orchemicalattack.Thewarrantyisalsoconditionalontheunitbeinginstalledbyalicensedelectrical
contractor.Nootherwarrantyisexpressedorimplied.
CABACshallnotbeliableforanydirect,indirect,incidentalorconsequentialdamages.
