1. Installation
1.1 Overview
To meet the design function, MNVR must be installed correctly. Usually, the
installation should be under the guidance of qualified engineer who is approved by Xiamen
Caimore communication technology co.,Ltd.
Notice:Please install the MNVR without power!
1.2 Unpacking
To ensure the safe transportation, product should be packed reasonably. Please keep the
package material when you open the box so as to use them again when before transporting
in the future.
Notice:Please confirm that the accessories coincides with packing list when you
open the product box.

2.2 Install SIM Card
SIM card stores information such as user identification, network settings, additional
service information and so on. The MNVR supports 1.8V/3V/5V SIM card, and user can
insert SIM card without opening the enclosure.
The method to insert the SIM card:
Before powering the MNVR, turn the side with metal contact surface up while putting
it on card tray. As picture showing:
After that, please turn the card tray 180 °to make the metal contact face down and
insert it to MNVR. As picture showing:
Notice: Please do not insert or pull out the SIM card when MNVR is charged!

3. Rapidly Configure
The quick usage instructions in this section describe how to view video, which can be
divided into 3G/4G network and wired network according to the access mode, and describe
how to use the monitoring station to watch video.
3.1 Enter Configuration Page
3.1.1 Connect MNVR and Computer
Please connect your computer and MNVR through LAN port. As picture showing:

1Open Network and Sharing Center.
2Change adapter settings.

3Choose “Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller”. And click “Properties”.
4Choose “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IP 4)”, and click “Properties”.
5Obtain a IP address and DNS server address automatically.
6Type “ipconfig” in cmd, then you can see the “Default Gateway”, that’s the LAN
IP address of MNVR.

7Type “192.168.5.1” in browser’s URL box.
8In login page, it will fill the username and password by itself.
Notice:
MNVR’s default LAN IP address is 192.168.5.1.
On the homepage of WEB configuration, it mainly includes: Basic, Network, Video,
Alarm, Device, DTU, Route, AD and Relay configuration modules.

Notice: Click the “Factory” button(as picture showing) to write the parameters of the
current setting into the device memory as the factory setting, which can be restored to
the backup data when it needs to be restored. Factory set, do not operate at will.
Most parameters can take effect immediately after clicking the corresponding "ok"
button, but some parameters need to restart the device after changing, please pay attention
to the prompt text when setting.
3.2 Networking Configuration
There are two ways to make MNVR online -- wireless and wired.
Wireless means get network via SIM card. It can be 3G or 4G, with more details you
can contact our sales engineer.
Wired means get network by connecting a router or SWITCH through WAN port.

3.2.1 Dial by SIM Card
Insert the SIM card. As picture showing.
Connect antenna according to corresponding interface.
Connect your computer and MNVR.
Power the device.
NOTICE:
1. Please power up MNVR after inserting the SIM card.
2. By default, the device will dial to Internet automatically if inserted a SIM card.
WAN IP address / Subnet mask / Gateway: these parameters are valid in wired mode.
Network preferences: wireless or wired. Please choose “wireless”.
Notice: if your SIM is APN card, please also set APN parameters(please fill them with the
info provided by operator):
Enable Routing: Sets the routing function on or off, which is enabled by default.
Time dog: Set the dog feeding time. During this time, the device will try to connect to

the server through the network. If the server cannot be connected during this time, the
device will restart.
Custom Content: Record the customized content of the device.
Traffic Statistics: Select to turn on or off the traffic statistics function. The default is
off.
Notice: After setting, please reboot the device.
3.2.2 Access Internet Through WAN Port
Connect MNVR’s WAN port to an upper router’s LAN port, and connect your
computer to MNVR’s LAN port.
For example, as picture showing, MNVR connects an upper router who can access
Internet.
So in the “Network”, “WAN IP address” and “Gateway” should be in a LAN, and also,
“Gateway” should be upper router’s LAN IP address. Details can be seen in the picture:
Network preferences: wireless or wired. Please choose “wired”.

3.3 Time Setting
: Click the button to manually edit the device time to make it consistent
with the PC system time.
: If the device time is inconsistent with the PC system time, click the
button.
3.4 Server
Server IP: 120.26.120.149
Server Port: 10086
Notice: The default is the company's server address and port. If you need to set up the
server by yourself, please contact the technical support staff for assistance. Do not change it
without permission.

3.5 Video Setting
The video resolution: it supports 1080P, 960P and 720P.
LAN IP: it’s the LAN IP to connect camera.
Notice: it can’t be same segment with WAN port IP, and it’s better to keep it in default
value.
Channel 1~4: it can support 4 channels camera connection. By default, the parameters
of each channel have been configured, the IP address of IP camera should be a LAN
with MNVR’s IP.
Notice: please don’t change the username and password of each channel.
3.6 Log In Management Platform
Please type the URL of http://120.26.120.149:8030 to get into the management
platform, and type the username and password provided by our company’s staff into
corresponding box.

This is the page after log in.
Choose “高清设备”, and your device name will be listed. You can check your device
ID on MNVR’s configuration page. As picture showing, device ID is CM_0000.

Open the list of “CM_0000”, and double click each channel.
There will be a video showing.

4. Detailed Configuration
4.1 Basic
4.1.1 Time
: Click the button to manually edit the device time to make it consistent
with the PC system time.
: If the device time is inconsistent with the PC system time, click the
button.
4.1.2 Device Info

Name: you can name the device as you want.
ID: please DO NOT change it. Server will distinguish them by ID.
Port: please DO NOT change it. It’s the port used to send video data to server.
EX content: select the local output of the content, the default is advertisement.
EX format: select the local output format and default to HDMI.
EX channels: set the number of output channels for CVBS to 1 and 4, the default is 4.
Heartbeat: set the heartbeat time, which is the interval between the time the device
sends the heartbeat packet to the server, the default is 30 seconds.
Recovery record: choose to turn on or off the function of restoring video recording,
which means that when the equipment is suddenly cut off while recording, the video
recording can be restored after recharging.
Version: system version number
Encord: set the video encoding format, the default is h.264.
Video Format: set the video format, the default is PAL.
4.1.3 Encryption
Click “Choose File” button to upload corresponding file, then click “Encrypt” button.
4.1.4 Decryption
Click “Choose File” button to upload corresponding file, then click “Decrypt” button.

4.1.5 User Management
User name: Set the user name of the login interface.
Password: Set the password for the login interface.
Confirm password: Confirm the password entered last time. If the two passwords are
different, please re-enter them. If they are the same, the password will be changed
successfully.
4.1.6 System Upgrade
Click “Choose File” button to upload corresponding file, then click “Upgrade” button.
Notice: please don’t upgrade the system without technical support.
4.1.7 Set Default Parameters
This function is used to save the current setting as the default.
Notice: please don’t operate it at will.
