PremierView6ID
Calibre specialises in high performance LCD display
solutions for industrial, OEM, military and aerospace
applications. PremierView features flexible signal
capability, excellent motion reproduction and accurate,
artifact free image re-sizing.
Calibre's PremierView6ID is a very high performance
TFT-LCD display. Based around Calibre's proprietary
PremierView4 LCD driver technology, it is able to
connect directly to a very wide range of video or
computer image sources and display images full
screen on its 6.3" viewable diagonal, wide viewing
angle screen.
PremierView6ID uses an exceptionally fine pitch LCD display panel with 1024x768 native resolution
over its 6.3” (16cm) diagonal viewing area. This is the finest pitch commercial TFT-LCD panel
commercially available for monitor use.
PremierView4 driver technology is one of the most flexible LCD systems on the market able to accept a
wide range of input resolutions. PremierView4 features true autoscanning real-time software algorithms
to allow it to be adjusted to suit most non-standard resolutions and signal timings within its resolution,
line and field rate ranges. PremierView4 is available with several video input options including a
standard grade video decoder for non-critical applications and a professional grade video decoder with
four-line adaptive comb filter, component video compatibility and a specially optimised true
monochrome video display mode.
PremierView6ID displays real-time Video or computer VGA-SXGA full screen, full-motion in real time.
High performance scaling algorithms work without compromising image quality or resolution irrespective
of the signal resolution implemented. It is compatible with Composite and Y/C (SVHS, S-video) inputs
with automatic detection of PAL, NTSC & SECAM video, and/or most computer RGB signals from
640x350 up to 1280x1024. Very flexible wide-ranging picture controls are provided via an on-screen
menu. These controls include picture size and position controls as well as contrast, brightness, and
colour/hue for video.
Compatibility with non-standard signal timings and custom resolutions can also be provided as a
customer specific option.
PremierView6ID with uses a high bright 6.3" wide viewing angle LCD panel with 250cd/m2 typical
brightness and typical viewing angles of 60 degrees left/right/down and 45 degrees up. PremierView6ID
provides an exceptional image with accurate grey-scale reproduction and clean image scaling. The
panel is run field-locked to the input signal to give best possible motion reproduction. In video display
mode all memory usage is fully double-buffered to avoid frame tear on fast moving objects.
PremierView6ID is available as an OEM open chassis module. A semi-custom rugged cased unit is
also available to special order.
