OPERATING MANUAL OF FRONT LOAD UV-C sterilization BOX
INTRODUCTION
Ultraviolet or UV light is the part of the electromagnetic spectrum from about 10nm to 400nm, that contains
frequencies just higher than visible light. It is so-named because the spectrum consists of electromagnetic waves with
frequencies higher than those that humans identify as the colour violet.
These frequencies are invisible to humans, but visible to a numberof insects and birds.
UV light can be divided into various wavelength bands withdiffering characteristics:
UV-A (400-315nm): 'Long wave' UV. Also know as 'black light' and used for skin treatments.
UV-B (315 280nm) 'Medium wave' UV. which can cause sunburn if the skin is exposed to it for too long.
UV-C (280-100nm)', Extremely effective 'In sterilizing microorganisms and biological pollutants, At this
wavelength, the UV light attacks the DNA/RNA of microorganisms like viruses, bacteria, germs fungi, dust mites
and flea eggs, stopping their reproductive capabilities and finally killing them.
The model CTUVC15MWX & CTUVC15MWD uses UV-C light to effectively sterilize your personal belongings, official
papers, cash, small equipment etc.

INSTRUCTION TO USE:
Before use,
1. Connect the power cord into 220V socket.
2. Load the material for sterilization and close the door (Door is Auto sensitive, if it is kept opened UV-C light won’t
glow).
3. Select the timer duration, depending upon your sanitizing/sterilization quantity, to set the sterilizing time you
may need, timer will increase according to the following cycle: 5 mins or 10 mins./1-99 mins.
4. Once you have set your timer, ON the AC switch and simply press the push switch to turn on the UV light.
5. Wait for the sterilization process and at the end of cycle you can hear the buzzer beeps.
GUIDELINES FOR SANITIZING/STERILIZING (lab tested results):
 Fruits and vegetables: Keep the materials for about 5mins for all items.
Personal hygiene items: For items like mask, wallet, mobile, bundle of cash, razors, brushes, combs clothes, etc,
use the device for 5 mins.
Kitchen utensils: For knives, utensils, chopping board, loose cash, documents, etc., for 1 mins use the device.
Readymade/packed foods: For 1min, use the device.
Caution
DANGER –UV (Ultraviolet) light can be harmful to the skin and eyes. It is important to use the model properly. Improper
operation of the device may cause injury. Read and understand all warnings prior to operating the device.
Keep out of reach of children& pets.
Do not look directly at the UV light.
Do not use the UV light on any part of the body for long duration. No problem for short duration exposure.
Do not touch the UV tube.
Never try to disassemble the device yourself. Removal or tampering with the electronic circuit board or lamp,
may causeinjury, or damage the device and void the warranty.
Use it only for cleaning and sterilization of surfaces.
Do not use it in any other manner than instructed in the user manual.
