TO SET UP A SMART HOME DEVICE TO CONTROL NIGHTINGALE
Amazon Echo (Amazon Alexa)
Remember first to download and install the Alexa app on the same phone that you wish to control
the Nightingale Sleep System with.
1. Speaking to your Amazon Device, Say “Alexa, Control Nightingale”
2. (Alexa will respond, “you need to link your amazon account to echo”)
3. Go to Amazon Echo App on the phone (where you have installed Alexa) and the Nightingale link
should appear on the Alexa app home page automatically
Google Home (Google Assistant)
Remember first to download and install the Google Assistant app on the same phone that you
wish to control the Nightingale Sleep System with.
1. Speaking to your Google Home, Say “Ok Google, Control Nightingale”
2. (Google Home will respond, “It looks like your control nightingale account is not linked yet – you
can link control nightingale to your google account from the google home app”)
3. Go to Google Home App on the phone (where you have installed Google Home) and the
Nightingale link should appear on the Google Home app home page automatically

CONTROL COMMANDS
Say (Alexa / Ok Google) “Control Nightingale” – the device will respond asking what you would like
Nightingale to do:
•Turn light (nightlight) on
•Turn light (nightlight) off
•Set light (nightlight) to {white, red, green, blue}
•Set light (nightlight) to {white, red, green, blue} in {room}
•Set color to {white, red, green, blue}
•Set light (nightlight) color to {white, red, green, blue}
•Set volume to {high, medium, low}
•Set volume to (highest, lowest)
•Turn volume up
•Turn volume down
•Set schedule for Nightingale Sounds
oTurn on time
oTurn off time
•Play {lakeshore (lake) / crickets / loons (birds) / whale songs (whales) / rainstorm (rain)}
•Play {lakeshore (lake) / crickets / loons (birds) / whale songs (whales) / rainstorm (rain)} in {room}
•Set Sound to {lakeshore (lake) / crickets / loons (birds) / whale songs (whales) / rainstorm (rain)}
•Set Sound to {lakeshore (lake) / crickets / loons (birds) / whale songs (whales) / rainstorm (rain)} in
{room}
•Set blanket to {Adult, Infant, Snoring, Tinnitus}
•Set sound blanket to {Adult, Infant, Snoring, Tinnitus}
•Set Room Type to {type} in {room}
