to maximize its performance. Store all documentation for subsequent use or for other
owners. This product is intended solely for household use or similar applications such as:

- onfarms,byclienteleofhotels,motelsandotherenvironmentsofaresidentialtype
- at bed and breakfasts (B & B)
- forcateringservicesandsimilarapplicationsnotforretailsale.
This appliance must be used only for purposes of storage of food, any other use is
considered dangerous and the manufacturer will not be responsible for any omissions. Also,
it is recommended that you take note of the warranty conditions.

refrigerator contains a refrigerant gas (R600a: isobutane) and
insulating gas (cyclopentane), with high compatibility with the
environment,thatare,however,inammable.

General warnings
WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance
enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means
to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food
storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the
type recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
WARNING: In order to avoid any hazards resulting from the

•If your appliance uses R600a as a refrigerant (this
informationwillbeprovidedonthelabelofthecooler)you
should take care during transportation and installation to
prevent the cooler elements from being damaged. R600a
is an environmentally friendly and natural gas, but it is
explosive.Intheeventofaleakduetodamageofthecooler
elements,moveyourfridgeawayfromopenamesorheat
sources and ventilate the room where the appliance is
located for a few minutes.
•While carrying and positioning the fridge, do not damage the
cooler gas circuit.
•Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans
withaammablepropellantinthisappliance.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and
domestic applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working
environments.
- farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other

•If the socket does not match the refrigerator plug, it must be
replacedbythemanufacturer,aserviceagentorsimilarly

•A specially grounded plug has been connected to the power
cable of your refrigerator. This plug should be used with
a specially grounded socket of 16 amperes. If there is no
suchsocketinyourhouse,pleasehaveoneinstalledbyan
authorised electrician.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

andaboveandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryor
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

your ooring, pipes, wall coverings etc. Do not move the
appliance by pulling by the lid or handle. Do not allow children
to play with the appliance or tamper with the controls.
Our company declines to accept any liability should the
instructions not be followed.
•Do not install the appliance in humid, oily or dusty places,
nor expose it to direct sunlight and to water.
•Do not install the appliance near heaters or inammable
materials.
•If there is a power failure do not open the lid. Frozen food
should not be affected if the failure lasts for less than 20
hours. If the failure is longer, then the food should be checked
and eaten immediately or cooked and then refrozen.
•Ifyoundthatthelidofthechestfreezerisdifculttoopen
justafteryouhaveclosedit,don’tworry.Thisisduetothe
pressure difference which will equalize and allow the lid to
be opened normally after a few minutes.
•Do not connect the appliance to the electricity supply until all
packingandtransitprotectorshavebeenremoved.
•Leavetostandforatleast4hoursbeforeswitchingonto
allow compressor oil to settle if transported horizontally.
•This freezer must only be used for its intended purpose (i.e.
storing and freezing of edible foodstuff).
•Do not store medicine or research materials in the Wine
Coolers. When the material that requires a strict control of
storage temperatures is to be stored, it is possible that it will

deteriorate or an uncontrolled reaction may occur that can
cause risks.
•Before performing any operation, unplug the power cord
from the power socket.
•On delivery, check to make sure that the product is not
damaged and that all the parts and accessories are in
perfect condition.
•If in the refrigeration system a leak is noted, do not touch the
walloutletanddonotuseopenames.Openthewindow
andletairintotheroom.Thencallaservicecentertoask
for repair.
•Do not use extension cords or adapters.
•Donotexcessivelypullorfoldthepowercordortouchthe
plug with wet hands.

lamps and the like in order to speed up the defrosting phase.
•Neverusewaterwashthecompressorposition,wipeitwith
adrycloththoroughlyaftercleaningtopreventrust.

Old and out-of-order fridges
•Ifyouroldfridgehasalock,breakorremovethelockbeforediscardingit,because
children may get trapped inside it and may cause an accident.
•Old fridges and freezers may contain isolation material and refrigerant with CFC
orHFC.Therefore,takecarenottoharmenvironmentwhenyouarediscarding
your old fridges..
Please ask your municipal authority about the disposal of the WEEE reuse,
recycleandrecoverypurposes.

Safety warnings
•Do not connect your Fridge Freezer to the mains electricity supply using an extension
lead.
•Do not plug in damaged, torn or old plugs.
•Do not pull, bend or damage the cord.
•This appliance is designed for use by adults, do not allow children to
play with the appliance or let them hang off the door.
•Nevertouchthepowercord/plugwithwethandsasthiscouldcausea
short circuit or electric shock.
•Do not place glass bottles or beverage cans in the ice-making
compartment as they can burst as the contents freeze.
•Donotplaceexplosiveorammablematerialinyourfridge.Placedrinks
withhighalcoholcontentverticallyinthefridgecompartmentandmake
sure that their tops are tightly closed.
•Whenremovingicefromtheice-makingcompartment,donottouchit.
Icemaycausefrostburnsand/orcuts.
•Do not touch frozen goods with wet hands. Do not eat ice-cream or ice cubes
immediatelyafteryouhavetakenthemoutoftheice-makingcompartment.
•Do not re-freeze frozen goods after they have melted. This may cause
health issues such as food poisoning.

Installing and operating your fridge
Before using your fridge, you should pay attention to the following points:
•Theoperatingvoltageforyourfridgeis220-240Vat50Hz.
•We do not accept responsibility for any damages that occur due to ungrounded usage.
•Place your fridge where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight.
•Yourapplianceshouldbeatleast50cmawayfromstoves,gasovensandheatercores,
andatleast5cmawayfromelectricalovens.
•Yourfridgeshouldneverbeusedoutdoorsorexposedtorain.
•When your fridge is placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at least 2 cm between
themtopreventhumidityformingontheoutersurface.
•Do not place anything on your fridge, and install your fridge in a suitable
placesothatatleast15cmoffreespaceisavailableaboveit.
•Use the adjustable front legs to make sure your appliance is level and
stable. You can adjust the legs by turning them in either direction. This
should be done before placing food in the fridge.
•Before using your fridge, wipe all parts with a solution of warm water and a teaspoon
of sodium bicarbonate, then rinse with clean water and dry. Place all parts in the fridge
after cleaning.
•Installtheplasticdistance guide (the part withblackvanesattherear)
byturningit90°(asshowninthegure)topreventthecondenserfrom
touching the wall.
•The refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free space not
exceeding 75 mm.
Before Using your Fridge
•Whenusingyourfridgeforthersttime,oraftertransportation,keepit
in an upright position for at least 3 hours before plugging into the mains.
Thisallowsefcientoperationandpreventsdamagetothecompressor.
•Yourfridgemayhaveasmellwhenitisoperatedforthersttime.This
is normal and the smell will fade away when your fridge starts to cool.

Thermostat setting
The fridge freezer thermostat automatically regulates the inside
temperature of the compartments. By rotating the knob from
position 1 to 5, colder temperatures can be obtained.
Important note: Do not try to rotate knob beyond position 1, it
will stop your appliance from working.
Freezer & fridge thermostat setting;
1 – 2 : For short-term storage of food in the freezer
compartment, you can set the knob between the
minimum and medium position.
3 – 4 : For long-term storage of food in the freezer
compartment, you can set the knob to the medium position.
5 : For freezing fresh food. The appliance will work for longer. So, after the desired
conditionisreached,returntheknobtotheprevioussetting.

Warnings about Temperature Adjustments
•Werecommendthatyoudonotoperateyourfridgeinenvironmentswheretheambient
temperatureisbelow10°Cbecausethiswillreduceitsefciency.
•Temperature adjustments should be made according to the frequency of door openings
and the quantity of food kept inside the fridge.
•Do not pass to another adjustment before completing an adjustment.
•Your fridge should be operated up to 24 hours according to the ambient temperature
If Super Switch is available:
a) Super freezing: If ambient temparature is more
than 18 °C, This switch can be used as superfreeze
switch.
Super freeze switch should be used for freezing the
fresh food or when the RED lamp on the head panel
is ON. (RED lamp on the head panel becomes ON
whenthereisinsufcientcooling).
Theappliancewillworklongerwhenyouactivate
this switch. So after you get the cold condition (or
the Red lamp on the head panel is off) you must
returntopreviousposition.
At the ambient temperature more than 18 °C, if
superfreezingfunctiondoesn’twanttobeused,it
must always be set to OFF position.
b) Low ambient performance: If ambient temparature
is less than 18 °C, this switch can also be used
as a low ambient switch for good low ambient
performence.
Inlowambienttemperatures,thisswitchheatsthefridgeparttopreventextracooling/
freezing.

without interruption after being plugged in to be completely cooled. Do not open doors
of your fridge frequently and do not place much food inside it in this period.
•Duringpowercut,topreventanycompressorproblemyoushouldunplugtherefrigerator.
You should delay pluging in 5 – 10 minutes after your power supply returns. If you plug
out the refrigerator for a reason you should wait at least 5 min to replug. It is important
foravoidingdamagetorefrigerator’scomponents.
•Yourfridgeisdesignedtooperateintheambienttemperatureintervalsstatedinthe
standards, according to the climate class stated
in the information label. We do not recommend
operating your fridge out of stated temperatures
valuelimitsintermsofcoolingeffectiveness.
•This appliance is designed for use at an
ambient temperature within the 10°C - 43°C
range.

Temperature indicator
Inordertohelpyoubettersetyourrefrigerator,wehaveequippeditwith
a temperature indicator located in the coldest area.
To better store the food in your refrigerator, especially in the coldest area,
make sure the message “OK” appears on the temperature indicator. If
« OK » does not appear, this means that the temperature setting has
not been done properly.
Since“OK”appearsinblack,itwillbedifculttoseethisindicationifthe
temperature indicator is badly lit. To be able to see this indication properly, there
should be enough light.
Eachtimethetemperaturesettingdeviceischanged,waitforthestabilisation
of the temperature inside the appliance before proceeding, if necessary, with a
new temperature setting. Please change the position of the temperature setting
deviceprogressivelyandwaitatleast12hoursbeforestartinganewcheckand
potential change.
NOTE: Following repeated openings (or prolonged opening) of the door or
after putting fresh food into the appliance, it is normal for the indication “OK”
not to appear in the temperature setting indicator. If there is an abnormal ice
crystals build up (bottom wall of the appliance) on the refrigerator
compartment evaporator (overloaded appliance, high room
temperature, frequent door openings), put the temperature setting
deviceonalowerpositionuntilcompressoroffperiodsareobtained
again.
Putting food in the coldest area of the refrigerator
Your foods will be better stored if you put them in the most appropriate cooling
area.Thecoldestareaisjustabovethecrisper.
The following symbol indicates the coldest area of your refrigerator.
Tobesuretohavealowtemperatureinthisarea,makesuretheshelfislocated
atthelevelofthissymbol,asshownintheillustration.

The upper limit of the coldest area
is indicated by the lower side of the
sticker (head of the arrow). The coldest
area upper shelf must be at the same
levelwiththearrowhead.Thecoldest
areaisbelowthislevel.
Astheseshelvesareremovable,make
suretheyarealwaysatthesamelevel
with these zone limits described on
the stickers, in order to guarantee
temperatures in this area.

•Pull the box out as far as possible
•Pull the front of box up and out.
!Make the inverse of the same operation for the resetting the sliding compartment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCECHAPTER 4.
• Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
•Do not clean the appliance by pouring water.
•Make sure that no water enters the lamp housing and other electrical
components.
•The refrigerator should be cleaned periodically using a solution of
bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water.
•Clean the accessories separately with soap and water Do not
clean them in the dishwasher.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.Afterwashing,rinse
with clean water and dry carefully. When you have nished cleaning,
reconnect the plugto the mains supply with dry hands.
•Clean the condenser with a broom at least twice a year. This will
helpyoutosaveonenergycostsandincreaseproductivity.
THE POWER SUPPLY MUST BE DISCONNECTED.
Defrosting
Defrosting the fridge compartment
•Defrosting occurs fully automatically in fridge compartment during operation; the
defrostedwatercollectedbytheevaporatingtrayandevaporatesautomatically.
•Theevaporatingtrayandwaterdrainhole(backoftherefrigeratorcrispershelf)should
becleanedperiodicallytopreventthewaterfromcollectingonthebottomofthefridge
insteadofowingout.

Defrosting the freezer compartment
•Thefrost,whichcoverstheshelvesofthefreezercompartment,shouldberemoved
periodically.
•Do not use sharp metal objects for this operation. They could puncture the refrigerant
circuitandcauseirreparabledamagetotheunit.Usetheplasticscraperprovided.
•Whenthereismorethan5mmoffrostontheshelves,defrostingmustbecarriedout.
•Before defrosting, place the frozen food in a cool
place after wrapping it in sheets of newspaper (this
will help the food to maintain it’s tempertaure for
longer).
•To accelerate the defrosting process, place one
or more bowls of warm water in the freezer
compartment.
•Dry the inside of the compartment with a sponge or
a clean cloth.
•Once the unit has been defrosted, place the food
into freezer and remember to consume it in a short
period of time.

To replace the bulb in the fridge compartments;
1. Unplug your fridge freezer.
2. Usingascrewdriver,carefullyremovethelightcoverfromthetoppanel.(a)
3. Replace with a 15 watt bulb. (b)
4. Reinstallthelightcover.(c)
5. Wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging the fridge in and restore the thermostat to its original
position.

Refrigerator compartment
•Toreducehumidityandconsequentincreaseoffrostneverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of the
evaporatorandintimewillrequiremorefrequentdefrosting.
•Never place warm food in the refrigerator. Warm food should be allowed to cool at
room temperature and should be arranged to ensure adequate air circulation in the
refrigerator compartment.
•Nothing should touch on the back wall as it will cause frost and the packages can stick
on the back wall. Do not open the refrigerator door too frequently.
•Arrangethemeatandcleanedsh(wrappedinpackagesorsheetsofplastic)whichyou
willusein1-2days,inthebottomsectionoftherefrigeratorcompartment(thatisabove
the crisper) as this is the coldest section and will ensure the best storing conditions.
•Youcanputthefruitsandvegetablesintocrisperwithoutpacking.
Somerecommendationshavebeenspeciedbelowfortheplacementandstorageofyour
food in the cooling compartment.
NOTE: Potatoes, onions and garlic should not be stored in the refrigerator.

•Please use the deep freeze compartment of your refrigerator for storing the frozen food
for a long time and for producing ice.
•Togetmaximumcapacityforfreezercompartment,pleasejustuseglassshelvesfor
upper and middle section. For bottom section, please use lower basket.
•For optimum appliance performance to reach maximum freezing capacity, Set the
refrigerator at 4 for 24 hours before placing fresh food into the freezer.
•After placing fresh food into the freezer, change the setting to 5 for 24 hours is generally
sufcient.After24hours,youcanreducethesettingifrequired.
•Please do not place the food you shall newly freeze nearby the already frozen food.
•Youshouldfreezethefoodtobefrozen(meat,mincedmeat,sh,etc.)bydividingthem
into portions in such a way that they can be consumed once.

•Please do not refreeze the frozen food once they are thawed. It may pose a danger for
your health since it might cause problems such as food poisoning.
•Do not place the hot meals in your deep freeze before they become cold. You would
causetheotherfoodfrozenbeforehandinthedeepfreezetobecomeputreed.
•When you buy frozen food, makes sure that they were frozen under appropriate
conditions and the package is not torn.
•While storing the frozen food, the storage conditions on the package should certainly
beobserved.Ifthereisnotanyexplanation,thefoodmustbeconsumedwithinthe
shortest time possible.
•Iftherehadbeenhumidicationinthefrozenfoodpackageandithasafoulsmell,the
foodmighthavebeenstoredunderunsuitableconditionspreviouslyandgonerotten.
Do not purchase this type of foods!
•The storage durations of frozen food change depending on the ambient temperature,
the frequent opening and closing of the doors, thermostat settings, food type and the
time elapsed from the purchase time of the food to the time it is placed into the freezer.
Always abide by the instructions on the package and never exceed the indicated
storage duration.
Note that; if you want to open again immediately after closing the freezer door, it will not be
openedeasily.It’squitenormal!Afterreachingequilibriumcondition,thedoorwillbeopened
easily.
Important note:
• Frozen foods, when thawed, should be cooked just like fresh foods. If they are not
cooked after being thawed they must NEVER be re-frozen.
•Thetasteofsomespicesfoundincookeddishes(anise,basilica,watercress,vinegar,
assorted spices, ginger, garlic, onion, mustard, thyme, marjoram, black pepper, etc.)
changes and they assume a strong taste when they are stored for a long period.
Therefore, the frozen food should be added little amount of spices or the desired spice
should be added after the food has been thawed.
•The storage period of food is dependent on the oil used. The suitable oils are margarine,
calffat,oliveoilandbutterandtheunsuitableoilsarepeanutoilandpigfat.
•The food in liquid form should be frozen in plastic cups and the other food should be
frozen in plastic folios or bags.
