is a
problem
with
the
binoculars,
first
refer
to
the
following
table.

still
persists,
please
send

binoculars

Cautionary
Notes
(1)
Never
use
the
binoculars
to
look
at
the
sun
or
a
strong
light
source.
Doing
so
may
cause
eye
damage.

If
the
binoculars
are
taken
from
a
cold
environment
to
a
warm
one,
condensation
may
develop
on
the
surface
and
internal
parts.
To
prevent
condensation,
first
put
the
binoculars
into
an
airtight
plastic
bag
before
taking
it
to
a
warm
environment.
Let
it
gradually
adjust
to
the
warmer
temperature,
then
take
out
the
binoculars.
Do
the
same
when
taking
the
binoculars
from a
warm
environment
to
acold one.

The
binoculars
are
a
precision
instrument.
Do
not
drop
them
or
subject
them
to shock.
And
do
not
attempt
to
disassemble
them.

Although
the
binoculars
are
waterproof,
it
should
be
wiped
with
a
dry
cloth
if
it
gets
wet.
If
it
has
been
exposed
to
salty
air,
use
awell-wringed
damp
cloth
to wipe.
(5) Do
not
put
the
binoculars
in
front
of
a
heater
or
in
a
car
on
a
sunny
day.
High
temperatures
can
cause
the
binoculars
to
malfunction.
(6)
If
the
lens
is
dirty,
first
use
ablower
brush
to
remove
dust,
etc., from
the
lens
surface.
Then
use
asoft,
dry
cloth
and
wipe
the
lens
gently
without
scratching
it. Do
not
use
any
organic
solvent
on
the
body or lenses.
Storage
(1)
Storing
the
binoculars
in
a
humid
location
may
cause
fungus
on
the
lenses.
If
the
binoculars
are
not
to
be
used
for
an
extended
period,
clean
the
lenses
and
body
thoroughly
and
store
in
a
well-ventilated
dry
place.
(2) Avoid
storing
the
binoculars
in
a
laboratory
or alocation
where
corrosive
chemicals
are
present.
Also avoid
storage
in
a
chest
of
drawers.

The Limited Warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. with respect to Canon Binocular Products purchased
in
the U.S.A.
This Limited Warranty is only effective upon presentation of abill
of
sale, warranty card or other valid proof
of
purchase.
This Canon equipment is warranted against defective materials or workmanship for twenty five years from the date of original purchase;
defective Image Stabilizer units, will be repaired or replaced for aperiod of one year from the date of purchase. Equipment covered by
this Warranty will be repaired in the U.S.A. without charge by Canon Factory Service Centers and Canon Authorized Service Facilities.
When returning equipment for warranty service, the shipping charges must be prepaid and the equipment should be shipped in its original
carton or box, or an equivalent, properly packed
to
withstand the hazards of shipment, and be fully insured.
Abill of sale, copy of this warranty card or other proof of purchase should be enclosed, as well as adescription of the problem, etc.
Repairs will be made and the equipment will be returned, shipped
at
no charge.
This warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the equipment and does not apply in the following cases:
a)
Loss or damage to the equipment due to abuse causing deterioration, mishandling, accident
or
failure to follow operating instructions.
b) If equipment is defective as aresult of damage by water, sand, dropping, leaking batteries, etc.
c)
If equipment has been serviced or modified by other than our authorized agents.
d)
Malfunction resulting from the use of supplies such as case,

lens cap, batteries, etc.
e) Damage resulting during shipment. (Claim must be presented and examined by the shipper)
No implied warranty, including merchantability, applies to this equipment after the twenty five year period stated above, and no other
