the LCD screen shows the image in letterbox

and friends. For added flexibility, you
can also select the compression size:
Superfine, Fine, Normal.
Direct Print (ZR300/ZR200)
The ZR300 and ZR200 offer
direct printing, making it
simple, quick and convenient
to produce high-quality photos—without
a computer. A single cable connects the
camcorder to a Canon Compact Photo
Printer, Canon PIXMA Photo Printer, or any
PictBridge compliant printer, and all options
can be controlled from the camcorder’s
menu. Choose from a range of different
paper sizes with options for borderless
or bordered prints.
Image Stabilizer
Shoot rock-steady video – even when you’re
at maximum telephoto without a tripod.
The built-in high-quality Image Stabilizer
even works while panning or zooming.
SimultaneousPhoto
Recording (ZR300/ZR200)
Did you ever wish you could capture video
and photos at the same time? The ZR300
and ZR200 are able to shoot VGA quality
(640 x 480 pixels) photos to a memory
card while you record video to tape. This
isideal for those timeswhen you want to
capture e-mail ready photos without missing
any of the action.
Low-Light Features
The camcorder’s Night Mode allows you
to capture video under low-light conditions.
It selects the ideal shutter speed and
sensitivity combination to help brighten
up the scene, without sacrificing color.
For shooting in dimmer conditions, the
Super Night Mode (ZR300) uses a built-in
LED lamp to provide extra illumination.
LCD Backlight
For shooting on bright, sunny days, the
LCD Backlight button improves the visibility
of the 2.4" LCD viewscreen, making it easy
to compose sensational shots.
Memory Card Slot (ZR300/ZR200)
The ZR300 and ZR200 feature a built-in slot
for an SD Memory Cardor MultiMediaCard.
Easily transfer digital photos to your PC
directly from the camcorder using USB
and IEEE1394. You can also record movie
clips in Motion JPEG format for the full
length of the SD Memory Card. These
mini-movies are ideal for attaching to an
e-mail or posting on the web.
