ALARM
Introduction
The Alarm is a Z-Wave enabled device which is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled
network. Z-Wave enabled devices displaying the Z-Wave logo can also be used with it regardless
of the manufacture, and ours can also be used in other manufacture’s networks. This device can
control our modules via controller settings. Inclusion of this alarm on other manufacture’s
Wireless Controller menu allows remote turn-on of connected modules when the detector is
triggered. After this product included into the network, when the associated device (such as:
sensor) is triggered, the alarm can send out alarm after receiving the wireless message. The alarm
is a combination of alarm and flash, the alarm volume can reach 100 db and 90 db. When the
alarm receiving a wireless (RF) directive, may be lead to two kinds of results: it is to start the
alarm and flash or it is to close the alarm and flash.

Compatible with any Z-Wave network devices
When the associated device (such as: sensor) is triggered, the alarm can send out alarm after
receiving the wireless message.
The alarm is a combination of alarm and flash, the alarm volume can reach 100 db and 90 db.

Z-WAVE NETWORK INCLUSION
1) Connect the power supply, and make sure that device in a state of "No node ID".
2) Choose "Z-Wave" to enter the Network Inclusion mode on the APP, then click "finish".
3) Pressing link key 3 times within 1.5 second.(The green LED lights up and sends out "beep"
sound when link key is pressed.)
4) When prompt a message “Request Access Success”, please go to the device list interface, and
refresh the device list, the device will be displayed.
Z-WAVE NETWORK EXCLUSION
1) Make sure the device is connected to the power supply.
2) Remove the device on the APP, then click "finish".
3) Pressing link key 3 times within 1.5 second (The green LED lights up and sends out "beep"
sound when link key is pressed.).
4) Please go to the device list interface, and refresh the device list, the device will not be
displayed.
5) If the device can still be displayed (network exclusion failed), repeat steps 2-4.

If the device is online, directly perform steps 1-5, if the device is offline, need interruption of the
device power supply first, and then perform step 1-5.
DEVICE RESET
Reset procedure clears the modules’ EPROM memory, including all information about the Z-Wave
network controller, calibration and power consumption data.
1) Make sure the device is connected to the power supply.
2) Pressing link key 3 times within 1.5 second (The orange LED lights up and sends out "beep"
sound when link key is pressed.).
3) Within 1 second, press and hold the link key about 5 seconds until the LED light turns off (A
long beep is sounded for 5 seconds and the LED light turns off).
4) IDs are excluded and all of preset value will be reset to factory default (LED: 2-second on,
2-second off ; Beep sound: every 10 seconds, 0.1 seconds each ring).
Installation Instructions
It’s recommended to install the ALARM in dry indoor place.
DEVICE INSTALLATION
1) Loosen and remove the screw at the bottom of the alarm, then slip he alarm back cover, the
back cover can be removed;(Fig. 1 & 2)
2) Insert 4 LR14/1.5 V alkaline batteries to the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity is
put (Fig.3).

Note: if you don't use the battery, this product also supports in transformer connected to the mains
power supply. Alarm special transformer is optional accessories, inside the alarm, it is equipped
with cable wire slot which can connect with the transformer connection wire. If you use the
transformer, please insert the transformer coupling into the DC hole, then connect the wire with
wire slot (Fig. 4 & 5).

3) Using the back cover as the example, identified three screw holes on the wall. Use the
attached plastic gecko and screws, fixed the back cover on the wall (Fig.6).

4) Put the alarm main body into the back cover, and lock the screws (Fig.7).

Operating instructions
There are two sets of jumper in the alarm, respectively are the volume control jumper (plug in for
big volume) and tamper jumper (plug in to open warning). Plug in or remove the jumper can
switch between different function settings (Fig. 8 & 9).

Note: Tamper is designed to start the alarm to notify users and deter vandals when alarm is
force forcibly removed. When the switch is pressed for more than 3 seconds later, tamper
function will start. If you switch off again at this time (it is equal to remove it from the wall
after installation), then an alarm is raised, and flash and the alarm will last for 3 minutes.
Safety Notice
Don't make the device directly to the window/fan/air-conditioner or sunlight.
Do not install the device above or facing any source of heat directly, such as fires, radiators,

boilers, etc.
Confirm the device is positioned in place where the light source detected by the detector is
consistent with actual ambient illumination. Do not locate the detector in shadowy place.
Where possible, mount the detector so that the logical path of an intruder would cut across
the fan pattern rather than directly towards the detector.
In order to obtain the best results, please put the detector directly facing the entrance.
