Assembly Instructions
RECOMMENDED TOOLS
Please read instructions COMPLETELY before assembly. This shelter MUST be securely
anchored.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY STRUCTURE AND NOT RECOMMENDED AS A PERMANENT
STRUCTURE.
Before you start: 2+ individuals recommended for assembly, approximate time 2 hr.

Please read and understand the installation detail, warnings and cautions prior to beginning installation.

CAUTION:
Use CAUTION when erecting the frame. Use safety goggles during installation.
Secure and bolt together overhead poles during assembly. Beware of end poles.
PROPER ANCHORING AND INSTALLATION OF FRAME:
PROPER ANCHORING OF THE FRAME IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSUMER.
We are not responsible for damage to the unit or the contents from acts of nature. Any shelter
that is not anchored securely has the potential to y away causing damage, and is not covered under
the warranty. Periodically check the anchors to ensure stability of shelter. We cannot be responsible
for any shelter that blows away.
NOTE: Your shelter’s cover can be quickly removed and stored prior to severe weather conditions.
If strong winds or severe weather is forcast in your area, we recommend removal of cover.
CARE AND CLEANING
A tight cover ensures longer life and performance. Always maintain a tight cover. Loose fabric can
accelerate deterioration of cover fabric. Immediately remove any accumulated snow or ice from the
roof structure with a broom, mop or other soft instrument. Use extreme caution when removing snow
from cover - always remove from outside the structure. DO NOT use hard-edged tools or instruments
like rakes or shovels to remove snow. This could result in punctures to the cover. DO NOT use bleach
or harsh abrasive products to clean the fabric cover. Cover is easily cleaned with mild soap and water.
WARRANTY:
This shelter carries a full limited warranty against defects in workmanship. We warrant to the Orig-
inal Purchaser that if property used and installed, the product and all associated parts, are free from
manufacturer’s defects:
Prior to installation, choose the location of your shelter carefully.
DANGER: Keep away from electrial wires.
Check for overhead utility lines, tree branches or other structures.
Check for underground pipes of wires before you dig.
DO NOT install near roof lines or other structures that could shed snow,
ice or excessive run off onto your shelter.
DO NOT hang objects from the roof or support cables.
Risk of re. DO NOT smoke or use open ame devices (including grills,
re pits, deep fryers, smokers or lanterns) in or around the shelter.
DO NOT store ammable liquids (gasoline, kerosene, propane, etc.) in or around your
shelter. Do not expose top or sides of the shelter to open re or other ame source.

Check that you have all the required components.
Lay components out as shown below.

STEP 1: BASE RAILS
Join base rails together using the ‘slip t’ connection system.
Lock together with 4 screws at each join.
Measure the base rails so that they are 4010mm apart.
STEP 2: GROUND ANCHORS
Mark out where the ground anchors will go and hammer into the
earth (as above).
Secure bolts to ground anchors hand tight.

STEP 3: ATTACHING BASE RAILS TO GROUND ANCHORS
Lay base rail over ground anchors, place saddles over base rails and
secure to attach.
STEP 4: MAKING THE FRAME X 3
Join together your portals with the nose pieces using the ‘slip t’
connection system (2 X portals and 1 x nose for each frame)
Screw together with 4 screws at each join.

STEP 5: COMPLETED PORTAL FRAMES
As each portal frame has been assembled place on top of each other.
STEP 6: ATTACHING FRAME TO BASE RAILS
Safely pick up the portal frame and slide it over and onto base rail
pegs.
The front and back portal frames should be attached rst.
Once the front and back frames are up, attach the centre frame
making sure they line up.
Don’t forget to screw the portal frames onto the base rail pegs.

STEP 7: FITTING ‘TOP HATS’
Secure Top Hats on inside of portal frames, making sure one is 700mm
from the centre nose and the other is 700mm from the shoulder.
STEP 8: ATTACHING COVER
Pull Canvacon cover over the frame.

STEP 9: FIXING COVER TO FRAME (SIDE ONE)
Join and insert 30mm x 30mm rail into sleeve on one side.
Tighten front and rear endless straps to pull cover over frame.
Then secure with ‘Z brackets’ to the 3 portal legs on the outside of
the Shade Stable. This locks the 30 x 30 rail in place.
STEP 10: FIXING COVER TO
FRAME (SIDE TWO)
Join and insert 30 x 30 rail into
sleeve.
Tighten using rachet straps.
Leave for 5 days to stretch cover
over frame (tighten if required).
Then use ‘Z brackets’ to lock cover
in place.
Once this is done, remove ratchet
straps.

STEP 11: INSTALLING SIDE PANELS (OPTIONAL)
Install side panels (optional)
Put in place and lock with pins.
