General
The N-MC-FC is a transparent flip cover for manual call points. It is
used to protect the manual call point from accidental activation by
enabling a two-step activation action. The user needs to lift the cover
before activating the alarm.
Tampering with the manual call point can be prevented by adding a
breakable, anti-tamper seal to the flip cover to effectively "lock" the flip
cover to the manual call point. A breakable seal is supplied with every
flip cover for convenience, and additional seal may be ordered
separately.
Easy to Install
The flip cover fits to the manual call point with a basic hinge system,
allowing the flip cover to be installed by simply clipping it to the
dedicated positions on the manual call point sides. No additional tools
are required. The flip cover may be fitted even after installation of the
manual call point without disassembling or removing the manual call
point from the wall.
Maintenance Friendly
Even with the flip cover fitted, compatible manual call points can be
tested using a manual call point test key. The front facing test key hole
remains accessible through the front face of the flip cover, allowing
activation using the key without the need to remove the optional seal
or touch the flip cover.
