ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Unpack the components carefully. Please check all parts have been removed from the packaging.
•Prior to use, warm-up for 10-15 minutes on level 3 setting whilst the blanket is fully covered under a
duvet / comforter/ quilt etc. This is to retain generated heat.
Connecting the Controller
To remove the controller, lift the locking tab up with your finger and pull the plug out directly.
Do not pull the controller cable and Do Not try and pull the controller plug out without lifting the locking tab
as you will damage the socket.
NOTE: On initial use, it is recommended that the blanket be set on “3" for 2 hours before sleeping on the
bed. This will assist in drying out any moisture which has accumulated in the mattress.
You may notice an odour when using the blanket for the first time, due to the insulation material, this is
harmless and will dissipate quickly.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the controls are in a position that will not allow dripping water to fall onto any part of
the controller.

OPERATION& CONTROLS:
The control has Braille marking. which allows for
easy temperature adjustment in the dark.
The settings are:
0 0FF,
1 Gentle Heat,
2 Medium Heat
3 Pre-heat This setting is recommended for Pre-
heating the bed 1to 2 hours before use with
standard bedding, DO NOT SLEEP WITH YOUR
BLANKET ON THIS SETTING.
There is a light which luminates when the
blanket is switched on.
Cleaning and Maintenance
•Before cleaning, always remove the plug
from the electrical socket.
•Clean the surface of the cord with neutral detergent if the cord is dirty, wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
•When attempting to clean the blanket disconnect the controller from the blanket.
•Do not submerse the controller in water or allow it to get wet. The switch or control unit must not be
allowed to get wet during washing and that during drying the cord must be positioned to ensure that
water does not flow into the switch or control.
•To clean the blanket, wipe it down with a soft damp cloth with very mild detergent.
•Allow it to dry thoroughly before using or storing it
•Do not use industrial solvents such as benzene, kerosene or similar solvents to clean it.
•Do not connect the blanket to power supply to dry it.
•The heating wires inside the electric blanket are fully waterproof, however the controller is NOT.
•Before cleaning or storing, roll up each of the tie tapes and secure them to avoid tangling.
•Do not dry the blanket in the sun.
•Do not wring out the blanket.
•Do not use the blanket if it is damp or wet.
•Maximum washing temperature 40C, mild process.
•Do not bleach.
•Do not tumble dry.
•Do not iron.
•Do not dry clean.

Storage
•When the blanket is not in use, please switch the controller to the "OFF" position, remove the plug from
the power socket.
•When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down completely before storing.
•If the blanket is not to be used for a long period of time, store the blanket in a cool and dry place.
•Do not store the blanket when it is wet.
•Do not dry the blanket by connecting the plug into the power socket.
•Do not dry the blanket in the sun.
•The blanket must be hung in a ventilated location to dry naturally. Do not position pegs on wired
sections.
•Do not store the blanket with the cord bent or kinked as this may cause electric shock when used again. .
•Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
Important Safety Precautions:
When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons,
basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
•USE THIS BLANKET AS AN UNDER BLANKET ONLY, PLACE THE BLANKET ON A FLAT AND EVEN SURFACE.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FUTONS OR SIMILAR FOLDING BEDDING SYSTEMS.
•ALWAYS TURN THE POWER OFF AT THE POWER OUTLET BEFORE YOU INSERT OR REMOVE A PLUG.
REMOVE FROM THE SOCKET BY GRASPING THE PLUG - DO NOT PULL ON THE CORD.
•TURN THE POWER OFF AND REMOVE THE PLUG WHEN THE ELECTRIC BLANKET IS NOT IN USE AND
BEFORE CLEANING.
•BEFORE CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE, CHECK IF THE VOLTAGE INDICATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE
APPLIANCE IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MAINS VOLTAGE IN YOUR HOME.
•THIS BLANKET IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON AN ADJUSTABLE BED. IF THE APPLIANCE IS USED ON
AN ADJUSTABLE BED, CHECK THAT THE BLANKET AND CORD DO NOT BECOME TRAPPED OR RUCKED,
FOR EXAMPLE IN HINGES.
•MAKE SURE THAT THE HEATING AREA (WIRE ELEMENT) DOES NOT HANG OVER THE EDGE OF THE
MATTRESS.
•DO NOT USE YOUR ELECTRIC BLANKET WITH AN EXTENSION CORD UNLESS THIS CORD HAS BEEN
CHECKED AND TESTED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN OR SERVICE PERSON.
•DO NOT USE THIS BLANKET ON AN INFANT, AN INFIRM PERSON OR ANYONE SENSITIVE TO HEAT.
•DO NOT USE ON A PERSON UNABLE TO GET IN AND OUT OF BED UNASSISTED.
•USE ONLY FOR HUMANS, NOT FOR PETS.
•THIS ELECTRIC BLANKET IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR
MENTAL CAPABILITIES, OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE, UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN
SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTION CONCERNING USE OF THE ELECTRIC BLANKETS BY A PERSON
RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR SAFETY.
•THIS BLANKET IS NOT TO BE USED BY YOUNG CHILDREN UNLESS THE CONTROLS HAVE BEEN PRE-SET BY
A PARENT OR GUARDIAN, OR UNLESS THE CHILD HAS BEEN ADEQUATELY INSTRUCTED ON HOW TO
OPERATE THE CONTROLS SAFELY.
•YOUNG CHILDREN SHOULD BE SUPERVISED TO ENSURE THEY DO NOT PLAY WITH THE APPLIANCE.

•PERSONS SUFFERING FROM INCONTINENCE SHOULD NOT USE AN ELECTRIC BLANKET TOGETHER WITH
WATERPROOF PROTECTION OVER THE TOP.
•EXTENDED USE ON HIGH SETTING CAN RESULT IN SKIN IRRITATION OR BURNS.
•DO NOT USE PINS - THEY MAY DAMAGE THE ELECTRIC WIRING.
•THE FLEXIBLE POWER SUPPLY AND SWITCH MUST, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, BE KEPT OUTSIDE THE BED.
•DO NOT SWITCH THE POWER ON IF THE BLANKET IS WET OR FOLDED.
•SWITCH OFF AT THE POWER OUTLET AND REMOVE THE PLUG WHEN THE BLANKET IS NOT IN USE.
•THE BLANKET MUST BE KEPT FULLY SPREAD AT ALL THE TIMES DURING USE TO AVOID OVERHEATING.
•DO NOT OPERATE ANY APPLIANCE WITH A DAMAGED POWER CABLE OR PLUG OR AFTER THE APPLIANCE
MALFUNCTIONS, OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY MANNER. WE RECOMMEND THAT THE POWER CABLE
IS NOT KINKED OR STORED IN A TWISTED MANNER, AND THAT YOU REGULARLY CHECK ITS CONDITION.
•BED CLOTHES SHOULD NOT BE FOLDED BACK WHEN THE BLANKET IS SWITCHED ON. DO NOT LEAVE
HEAVY OBJECTS ON THE BED WHEN THE UNIT IS SWITCHED ON.
•ARRANGE THE BLANKET SO THAT IT IS NOT BENEATH PILLOWS.
•DO NOT DRY CLEAN THIS BLANKET. CLEANING LIQUIDS MAY DAMAGE THE INSULATION OR COVERING
OF THE HEATING UNIT. IT IS RECOMMENDED YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPOT CLEANING OR
HAND WASHING IF SOILING OCCURS.
•IF ANY ABNORMALITY OR DEFECT IN OPERATION OF THIS BLANKET IS OBSERVED, DISCONTINUE ITS USE
IMMEDIATELY.
•REGULARLY INSPECT THE SUPPLY CORD, PLUG, CONTROLLER AND BLANKET FOR ANY DAMAGE. IF
DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, IMMEDIATELY CEASE USE OF THE BLANKET.
•WHEN STORING, FOLD NEATLY BUT NOT TIGHTLY (OR ROLL) IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WITHOUT
SHARP BENDS IN THE HEATING ELEMENT AND STORE WHERE NO OTHER OBJECTS WILL BE PLACED ON
TOP OF IT.
•THE BLANKET IS FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY. THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT INTENDED FOR MEDICAL USE IN
HOSPITALS.
•THE INSTALLATION OF A RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE (SAFETY SWITCH) IS RECOMMENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL SAFETY PROTECTION WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES. IT IS ADVISABLE THAT A
SAFETY SWITCH WITH A RATED RESIDUAL OPERATING CURRENT NOT EXCEEDING 60W BE INSTALLED IN
THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT. SEE YOUR ELECTRICIAN FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
•DO NOT USE TOGETHER WITH OTHER ELECTRIC BLANKETS OR HOT WATER BOTTLES.
•DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR A FUSE LINK OR THERMAL LINK.
•CHECK THE CORD HAS NOT BEEN BENT OR KINKED AS THIS MAY CAUSE ELECTRIC SHOCK.
•ALWAYS TURN OFF THE BLANKET BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP. DO NOT LEAVE THE BLANKET TURNED ON
OVERNIGHT.
•NEVER LEAVE THE ELECTRIC BLANKET UNATTENDED WHILE IN USE.
•DO NOT USE THE ELECTRIC BLANKET FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN ITS INTENDED USE.
•DO NOT PLACE THE ELECTRIC BLANKET ON OR NEAR A FLAMMABLE OR HOT OBJECT.
•DO NOT ALLOW THE POWER CORD OF THE ELECTRIC BLANKET TO HANG OVER THE EDGE OF A TABLE
ETC OR TOUCH ANY HOT SURFACES.
•DO NOT OPERATE ANY ELECTRIC BLANKET IF THE POWER CORD IS DAMAGED OR AFTER THE ELECTRIC
BLANKET HAS BEEN IMPACTED IN ANY MANNER. IF DAMAGE IS SUSPECTED PLEASE CONTACT THE
SELLER.

Caution:
•To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product, flexible cord or plug to rain,
moisture or any liquid.
•Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water or other liquids, or when
standing in or on damp or wet surfaces.
•In the event where the electric blanket is dropped into water, turn off the power at the power outlet and
remove the plug immediately. DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT. It is important to note
that the electric blanket will have to be inspected by a qualified technician before using it again.
PLUG WIRING (UK & IRELAND)
This appliance is fitted with a moulded BS 1363 13-amp plug. This is fitted with a 3amp fuse.
If you have to replace the fuse, only those that are ASTA or BSI approved to BS1362 should be used.
If there is a fuse cover fitted, this cover must be re-fitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse cover is lost or
damaged the plug must not be used. Spare fuse holders and fuses are available from electrical outlets. If the
socket outlets in your home or office are not suitable for this product’s plug, the plug must be removed and
disposed of safely. Attempts to insert the plug into the wrong socket is likely to cause electric hazard.

•Coopers of Stortford use recyclable or recycled packaging where possible.
•Please dispose of all packaging, paper, cartons, packaging in accordance with your local recycling
regulations.
•At the end of the product’s lifespan please check with your local council authorised household waste
recycling centre for disposal.
