UNIVERSAL RECYCLER MODE is set by switch 2.3 to OFF position. Coin
changer from any manufacturer must be connected to the recycler’s harness.
BILL ENABLE OVERRIDE RULES:
The following is implemented to enhance sales while still preventing
dispensing of small coins. The Universal Recycler limits acceptance of bills
when it calculates there is insufficient change for the transaction.
These rules act to disable 1000VEF (if recycled 500VEF), 2000VEF and
5000VEF bills.
When the Universal recycler calculates that there are insufficient bills and
coins to provide change, three short red flashes will be shown.
When a bill is rejected because it was disabled by VMC or DIP SWITCHES,
two short red flashes will be shown.
If number of bills in the recycling cassette more than 4, then the recycler will
modify dispense command for coins to dispense it in bills first.
MDB v4.0 RECYCLER’S COMMANDS SUPPORT MODE is set by switch 2.3
to ON position. Coin changer must be disconnected from the recycler’s
harness and connected to MDB bus of VMC’s board.
There are no override rules in this mode.
