Getting started
Install the battery
1Slide the battery in the radio body
2Press the bottom part of the battery into its
position until it clicks
Install the antenna
Turn the antenna clockwise in its dedicated slot
on top of the terminal
Switch the radio on
1Press and hold the power on/off switch
2If the radio asks for a phone or a security code,
enter these and select OK
Note: the initial phone code is 1234

2Scroll to the desired folder

4Turn the group selector until you reach the
desired group
5Press and hold the PTT key
6Start speaking when a short tone is played

1To a TETRA number: type the number
To a phone number: type the number, press
and scroll to Phone
2Press and hold the PTT key

1Enter the area code and phone number

3Scroll to the relevant number type among
Private, Abbr. number, Phone, or Office ext. no.
