HOW TO USE APPLIANCE
• Measure the desired amount of rice with the measuring cup supplied with this unit.
• Transfer washed rice in the Inner Pot, then add water. E.g. for 10 cups of rice, add water to level 10. Do not cook more
than the maximum indicator. Wipe the bottom part of the Inner Pot. Water ratio may vary depending on the type of
rice used.
• Make sure to wipe the bottom of the Inner Pot to remove any rice left before placing it into the cooker.
• Put the Inner pot inside the rice cooker, turn it slightly from left to right to ensure that the Inner Pot is properly fitted into
the Heater Plate. Level the rice.
• Close the Lid until it clicks. 1f the lid is not properly closed the unit will not function.
• Plug in. Press down the Switch Knob, the ‘Cook’ light indicator will turn on.
• When cooking is finished the switch knob will pop-up and a dick sound will
• be heard and ‘Cook’ light indicator will turn off and the ‘Warm’ light indicator will turn on.
• After cooking cycle ends, keep the cover closed for 15 minutes. The rice will be fluffier.
• Use on the Spatula supplied with this unit to avoid scratches.
• A condensation collector is positioned on the side. This channels excess moisture away from the rice. To remove, hold
the sides and pull. To attached, align and push.
CLEANING
• Always turn the appliance off, allow to cool down and unplug before cleaning.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials or fluids
• Do not use a water jet to clean
• Inner pot and spatula are washable with soap and water.
• Use a soft cloth with warm water and a little detergent solution to clean body effectively
• Remove the condensation collector and clean it with soap and water.
• When cleaning do not allow any water to come in to contact with any of the electrical controls or connections.
• Grains of rice or residues may adhere to the Heater plate, remove it with soft sponge. Make sure the Heater Plate is
free from residues.
OTHER SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
• Take care when lifting as appliance is very heavy
• External surfaces of this appliance may be very hot when in use
• Ensure appliance is unplugged and cooled down before moving/adjusting
• Do not use this appliance if it has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way
• Do not dismantle any part of this appliance or carry out any unauthorised service. If this instruction is ignored no re-
sponsibility can be accepted by our.
• If the mains lead is damaged it should be replaced by a qualified technician
• This appliance is not to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
• Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Only persons given with training for their safety should use this appliance.
• Not for use by children. Any children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product
• Any service or maintenance work within guarantee should be carried out by the manufacturer.
