TMC-1-MMP1 User guide
This ocument only escribes the Ethernet connections of the TMC-1 an any ifferences in
operation. Please refer to the TMC-1 Reference which is available from the main TMC-1 Web
Page.

Ethernet Connection
The TMC-1 communicates to the MMP1 via Ethernet, when connecte to the network it will
iscover any connecte MMP1’s an isplay them. If it has been paire with a MMP1 an
recognise the Serial number it will select the paire MMP1.
To check the Ethernet connection epress [Select] an [Page] together to enable the Page
select menu. From the Page select menu epress the [E-Net] key to isplay the MMP1
pages. Use the [<] an [>] keys to step through.
Note 1: Once the TMC-1 iscovers the MMP1 selecting the MMP1 on the TMC-1 Discovery
page will set the TMC-1 to be on the same subnet as the MMP1.
Note 2: It may be necessary to set the subnet a ress of the TMC-1, the efault IP a ress of
the TMC-1 is 169.254.149.250. If you have a DHCP server on your network use the DHCP key
on the Discovery page to select a free IP a ress, If not you can set the IP A ress of the
TMC-1 using the TMC1v5 or Mi iup Mac/Win ows programs
Note 3: The MMP1 serial number & Mac a ress is unique to each unit an are use to
efine the estination instea of the IP a ress.

MMP1 4.1 Implementation
The TMC-1-MMP1 an MMP1 are both new, not everything is implemente at this time,
Yammaha have provi e restricte access to the MMP1 functions to the TMC-1. More
functions are available in the iPa emulation mo e.

Discovery
This page isplays the MMP1 units
iscovere by the TMC-1 (Max 4). The unit
highlighte in Yellow is the currently
connecte unit. To select, use the [<] an
[>] keys an then epress the [Select] key.
Network Page:
This Page shows the current setup of the
Network connection. The TMC-1 copies the
subnet a ress from the selecte MMP1 on
the Discovery page, the last number (249 in
the image) may be efine from the
“TMC1-MMP1” program on Mac or
Win ows with the Unit Name.
Socket Debug:
Use to ebug systems, You can change
the socket number using the [+] or [-] keys.
