to give many years of faultless operation,
but like every mechanical system
a correct installation and
regular maintenance are vital.
We reserve the right to change our products
without prior notice.
We can never be held responsible
for any errors and/or omissions in this manual.

The units are separately packed in cardboard boxes, on one pallet tied with tape.
To prevent damage to the unit, it is recommended that the unit is transported to its final destination IN its packing.
When the unit is stored temporarily, it must be stored in a dry place until transport to its final destination

Smaller units can usually be moved by manpower and/or using a trolley.
To move larger units, a forklift should be used.
The units are always supplied on a pallet: please leave this in place until the final destination.
To prevent damage, note the following:
When using a forklift, ensure that the forks are long enough to reach to the end of the pallet.
When using a forklift the unit should only be lifted with the pallet or reinforcement under the unit.
Pushing with the forklift is permitted only if a rigid plank or reinforcement is applied over the complete length of
the unit.
The units should always be transported the right way up. Although under some circumstances they have to be
transported flat, e.g. to clear a narrow passage, they should never be placed flat for transport in trucks or for long
term storage (> 12 hours).
If the units must be moved in another way, other precautions must be taken to prevent damage to the housing.
IGNORING THESE GUIDELINES CAN CAUSE DAMAGE

When cutting the packaging always avoid damage to the unit.
Plastic, cardboard and wood should be removed separately for later recycling.
ON RECEIPT OF THE UNIT ensure that no transport damage has occurred.
The carrier must be informed of any damage immediately in writing

Supporting material must be sufficiently strong
To prevent resonance, make best use of sound insulating material – see wall mounting kit.
Fitting or attaching the unit to wooden floors or walls is not recommended. This requires special precautions
(anti-rumble materials).
The units must always be levelled.
The units may only be installed one way up in a way that the compressor is always upright.
The suction of the unit should be at least 2,5 m from the water surface (protection volume – directions ARAI).

The condensation drain is connected via the bottom or via the back of the unit.
The condensation outlet is a 22 ∅mm flexible hose which must be connected to a PVC outlet pipe ∅32 mm, ideally
fitted with an odour trap (siphon).
To prevent water splashing into the unit and any undesirable odours, the connection must be made airtight to
prevent the intake of air via the outlet.
If the unit is placed below the drain level, the condensation pump may be used with a collector tank and float to
evacuate the water: flow 2 l/min and 3 m lift.
ATTENTION: THE CONDENSATION DRAIN MUST BE POSITIONED FROST-FREE.

If you are mounting the unit against the wall, we advise following directions:
leaving a clearance of minimum 20 cm (*) from the floor – thus assuring enough air flow at the suction side
- and minimum 1 m from the ceiling, thus avoiding that the unit will re-suck its own dried air.
In order to ensure a proper air circulation above the floor, we advise never to mount the unit more than 1 m
above the floor.
For vibration-free mounting of the unit you can use an optional:
WALL MOUNTING SET
1 SET = 2 (AMT40/65//92M/100) or 3 (AMT140/142M) screw bolts with rubber vibration damper and plug
+2 (or 3) distance tubes with rubber vibration damper.
When using this wall mounting set the unit will be mounted 20 mm from the wall: the front side can easily be
lifted when cleaning/replacing the filter
ATTENTION
WHILE MOUNTING, CAREFULLY SEE TO IT THAT THE RUBBER DAMPER IS NEVER USED
AS AN AID TO FORCE A TOOL UPON.
WRONG MOUNTING WILL RESULT IN EXTRA TENSION/CHARGE ON THE DAMPER WHICH CAN CAUSE
CRACKS. THE LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF THE DAMPER WILL NO LONGER BE GUARANTEED:
THE DAMPER CAN TEAR OUT AND THE UNIT MAY FALL OFF THE WALL.
If the bottom of the unit is visible, you can fit (always supplied separately) a bottom grate

Can be mounted on the floor when using optional 20 cm (*) high closed feet..
Place the unit on the feet and screw it down with the bolts and nuts that are supplied with the feet.
When the unit has been screwed down to the feet it can be lifted and put in its final position.
ATTENTION: make sure that the cables are not jammed between the back wall, bottom or feet.
Electrical cables and - if you are using flexible connections - pipes for heating and any swimming pool condenser
can be passed through the feet.
For freestanding mounting, the unit should be protected against pulling over.
The unit can be levelled by screwing the levelling screws on the bottom of the front side of the unit in or out.

The hot-water battery (LPHW) is fitted on the pulse side of the unit.
The connection of the LPHW is on the left of the unit.
The LPHW must be connected to the CH boiler by a registered installer. The unit is not fitted with a circulating
pump. This must be fitted by the CH fitter and adapted to the capacity of the LPHW. The incorporated control can
be used to control the circulating pump and/or the CH boiler.
The unit can also optionally be equipped with a three-way valve
HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
Fitted with ½” nipple connection to the LPHW.
The optional three-way valve is ½” external.
On the LPHW, the IN and OUT are marked LPHW IN and LPHW OUT
CONTROL
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS/ SEE DIAGRAM
The LPHW is controlled independently of the CH via the built-in 24V = control. When the dehumidifier functions, the
fan also moves air over the LPHW.
The thermostat (TH) or hygrothermostat (HYTH) orders the unit control to provide heat. The fan and circulation
pump are controlled by the PCB. A non-return valve should be fitted in the hydraulic circuit.
In order to prevent hot water flowing through when the swimming pool area is on temperature, one can apply a
built-in three-way valve.
ADVANTAGE: on heat demand, the three-way valve opens and water flows directly through the LPHW,
immediately providing heat.
WHEN REORDERED PLEASE GIVE TYPE OF UNIT AND CAPACITY OF LPHW.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS/ SEE DIAGRAM
Via the maximum built-in thermostat : at excess temperature (> 32°C) the unit control can be ordered to emit

to that of the air drawn in.
