Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of your new Raised Toilet Frame with Comfort
Seat. Please ensure you read and understand these instructions in full before use.
Please retain these for future reference.
Cefndy Raised Toilet frames are designed to enhance user comfort. The frame
comes with integral arms and comfort toilet seat as standard. The feet are non-slip
and non-marking for extra safety.
The frames comprise of a mild steel frame coated in a white or red antibacterial epoxy
finish. All of the frames feature fully welded joints and clip on clip on clip off comfort
toilet seats. All of these features are designed to aid product hygiene and reduce the
possibility of bacterial entrapment.

Assembly Instructions
Please note:
When unpacking carefully examine the product to ensure it is complete.
Before use check for any damage. If damaged please contact your supplier
and refrain from using the product.
Do not attempt to use if the product is damaged.
Correct Use
Height Adjustment
Remove the pin clip from each of the legs
Select the required height of the frame by gently sliding each extension leg in
or out.
When desired height is found refit the pin clip into the appropriate hole in each
extension leg
Ensuring it goes fully through. Ensure that all legs are set to the same height
This product has been specifically designed to aid toileting requirements over
an existing system.
Accessories
A floor fixing foot kit is available –T174SET
This allows you to replace the standard rubber tipped feet
and replace them with feet that can be securely fixed tothe
floor.

To fit:
Remove the pin clips from each of the 4 legs and remove the extension legs
completely.
Fit the 4 Floor Fixing Feet to the product and replace the pin clips –ensure the
Fixing feet are set at the same height.
Position the product exactly where required, and ensuring it is not moved, mark
out the hole positions for each of the Floor Fixing Feet.
Remove the product and using a drill bit of the type and size appropriate to the
underlying floor material and whether plastic inserts are required. Drill each hole
to the depth necessary dependent upon the use of plastic inserts and type of
screws to be used. - If in doubt seek advice from professionals
Using screws of the appropriate type and size, secure the product to the floor
ensuring screws are fitted to all of the 12 holes in the Floor Fixing Feet.
Remove any debris.
Cleaning
Use mild detergent with warm water to wipe down framework on at least a
weekly basis more frequently if required.
Do not use an abrasive cleaner as this may damage the frame and invalidate
your warranty.
The toilet seat can be removed to aid cleaning.
Remove legs for cleaning.
Use of power/jet washing & industrial washing machines
If either of the above is used to clean equipment care must be taken since
high-pressure water can be penetrative.
Care should be taken that frames are not placed too close to high-pressure
water jets.
After cleaning ensure any residual water is removed from the framework as it
could cause permanent rusting of the frame (leave frames open in a warm
environment for several hours to ensure all internal moisture evaporates).
We cannot offer advice on industrial washing machine
Maintenance Requirements
The product should be checked on a regular basis for damage or wear and tear –
this includes flaking or cracking paint. Any undue signs of damage should be noted
and reported to the supplier in the first instance. Should damage be evident, then the
user should refrain from using the product until advice has been sought from the
supplier.

Warning
This product is intended for users up to a maximum of 127kg/20stone in
weight.
We recommend a full risk assessment is carried out before use. This should
include consideration for the equipment’s intended use, the capacity of the
user to safely use the equipment, the environment in which the equipment is
intended to be used and all other relevant considerations.
It is advised that the frame is checked periodically for signs of wear and tear.
Any problems please report to your supplier immediately.
Warranty
This product carries a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase against
manufacturing defects. Misuse or damage is not covered. This warranty does not
affect your statutory rights. As manufacturers we cannot specify expected product
life as this is based on the level of usage.
Disposal Instructions
Appropriate hygiene standards should be applied before disposal to minimise
the risk of infection.
Materials used are essentially non-hazardous and can be disposed of
appropriately consideration should be given to local re-cycling arrangements.
